For me the show matters.. and if things are impactful.. it has better chance to impress..! This show stopped being DIFFERENT the day Ashu fired Nidhi... that day DK and anything related to it .. ENDED ... ! Its another show ... but its still a decent show..!

We have to wait n watch as to WHEN Mallu turned from sick to sane... lets keep the patience..

P.S - As a student of communication, I have to take the media and its messages seriously...coming onto this forum helps me gain perspective on how different people receive media content and process them...that is why my discussions go beyond the show and try to delve into impact as well...however if such discussions are beyond the purview of this forum, I would be happy to restrain myself in future...!

Mallika's true color has been revealed to us, finally...Yippie..
Now everybody is interested since when she started her drama??
she was really a victim or she planned everything with Jagan as she knew Ashu hates him. So to blackmal Ashu she called Jagan and had to marry him, but then again her drama started...

This is the first time this show is having such drama...lets see whats in store for us...

True. I am really dreading this and yet I think this is what will happen😆. Then KP will come out of hiding and proclaim that no character in his story is black and white. Everybody has shades of gey and hence we the viewers are supposed to be mature enough to forgive Mallu.

Also once we know the full backstory of Mallu-Jagan etc.. then we can understand what was true n what was fake..! Regarding issue of domestic abuse.. i think.. Aamir Khan is doing a great job in that...regard..n the intelligent audience will n must take a leaf from there.. daily soaps r no mode of educating audience in anything in my view! But yes.. they ought not make mockery of issues.. n hence i will watch the backstory before queering KP ji..!

He can go only two ways, Tanu...either he says she was completely faking the domestic violence issue as well...or he can say that there was truth to that part of her story...my point is either way, it does disservice to the cause...if he says she was faking, he is effectively showing how a woman is using a serious issue like this to settle personal scrores...another extremely popular show on the same channel drew considerable flak for exactly the same thing...if he says it was true, he has turned a victim into a witch...because Mallika's obsession with Ashu cannot be attributed to the abuse...she always suffered from OCD...by showing a victim as capable of such horrendous manipulation and scheming, he is still messing up...have personally worked with victims of abuse,...in most cases, the husband's first excuse is that she deserved it and invited it even...I hope you can understand now why I feel as strongly as I do!

Anyway, I dont want to be a wet blanket when people are in a mood to celebrate...so let me bid you all adieu for the day!
