Sujatha in the first place is this a case of true friendship for which one can risk his marriage? Mallu is not the female version of Armaan. On her part it was love from the beginning and on Ashu's part it is still not clear .Strangely this closeness between them was not shown previously.I remember in epi 1or 2 mallu laments Ashu for not inviting to his home. There you could see the distance. suddenly where come these London days doing all the things under the sky.So to term this relationship as friendship is an insult to true friendship where you always wish the welfare of your friend.Ashu is a sadist to expect understanding from his wife and that too when the wife knows Mallika"s true feelings.
Radhika, point well taken...the track does appear very contrived because, although Ashutosh and Mallika enjoyed an easy camaraderie in the past, there was never this violation of personal space which is being escused in the name of insanity...however, whatever Mallika's intentions, AShu always wished her well...so it might be difficult for him to desert her, even if he knew of her evil side, when she was in need of help...this, in turn, could have caused problems between him and Nidhi...the track could have been handled in a mature way and still generated drama...unfortunately, I think our definition of maturity and KPji's definition of the same don't match!
