Separation is inevitable. It'll be short but it has to happen. Without it ashu will never see what's going on. Yesterday by stopping nidhi from going, by crying false tears, he discovered her weakness. So today by using emotional blackmail, he achieved what he wanted, Mallika in the house. He will keep being blind to Mallika until something big enough happens that jolts him out of his friendship trance. He thinks nidhi loves him too much, there fore she will never leave him, so he can carry on his nonsense friendship crap in front o nidhi. Until she leaves,kuch nahin hoga.

Watching yesterday's episode, I really want sepration. Obviously not permanent, but short term. Sepration is the only one way, to put some sense in Ashu's head.
