DB wants Ashu to stay away from Mallika coz its not "proper" n says she herself will take care of her..Ashu says wanting to take care is OK but Mallika is very fragile right now n is scared of everyone..DB turns stubborn and says she knows where all this might lead n will not allow someone/anyone to interfere n ruin Nidhi's shaadi shuda zindagi.
Nidhi looks torn between her fears n her love and trust towards Ashu..Ashu tries telling her that Mallika is only his friend and Nidhi knows it n asks DB not to worry..they argue further n DB refuses to listen and says she can't stay on and see her kid in so much pain.
Ashu loses his temper and says "then close your eyes or take your kid n go away to your own house."(i have not changed this as its already shown in the precap)..as soon as the words are out of his mouth he realizes he has gone too far in his temper and turns to Nidhi..but its already too late..she heard them and looks like Ashu walked up to her and stabbed her with a knife..he says "Nidhi..i didn't mean...".. Nidhi doesn't look at him but walks up to DB, hugs her n thanks her for her concern n assures her that she knows what she is doing n will take care of herself..her place is now in this house n will not come running home for every small problem that arises n would really love to have DB's help here but its her decision if she wants to stay or leave.
Ashu looks mightily relieved but still keeps looking at Nidhi as if willing her to look at him..she refuses to glance in his direction and leaves the room. Baba walks up to Ashu and says "Beta..you shouldn't have said that..DB's fears do make sense..all of us know that Mallika is your friend but try seeing it from Nidhi's pt of view..she just got married to you n hasn't even got completely settled in her new life..now she has to take care of you n Mallika who according to what you said before, has caused lots of pain for her. there is a limit to her strength too and she knows Mallika loved you..just think how she must be feeling with her clinging to you all the time..i know we all think of Mallika like a member of this family but now you are married to Nidhi..she is your love n your life..i still remember how you were when both of you had to break off, as if all hope has left from your life n your eyes always searching for her no matter where you were and what you were doing..your love has won but now you have to make sure it stays strong."
