What if Nidhi asks Baba to leave!

This is pure conjecture and an attempt to look at the outcome if tables were turned.

For the sake of this post, please assume that Baba is not Nidhi's Nana. Actually, it does not really matter since they don't really have a grandfather-granddaughter relationship. He appears to view her as a daughter-in-law and she sees him as a father-in-law.

Now assume that Rohan walks back into Nidhi's life under such pitiable circumstances that Nidhi is forced to give him asylum. His dependence on her is so complete that she has to spend practically every waking moment with him and attend to all his needs. Baba sees the situation as a direct threat to his son's marriage and happiness. He requests Nidhi to maintain her distance from Rohan and offers to care for Rohan himself. Nidhi, who actually owes Rohan even when it comes to her relationship with Ashu, puts her foot down and says that Rohan needs her and she cannot abandon him. She more or less asks Baba to take a hike if the situation does not appeal to him. What should/would Ashu do under the circumstances?

Most likely...we may even see him raising his hand on Nidhi for daring to abuse his Baba. Double standards rule the roost, be it a soap or reality. And then our writer talks of out of the box characterization and mature storylines!

Valid question.But Nidhi will never say that-it doesn't match her character,and infact BB is supposed to live in that house unlike DB-so she may ask Ashu to choose btw her and BB-that sounds more logical-Ashu will crumble to give the ans and he will most probably choose Baba...He feels all other responsibility first and then fr Nidhi...

Lol...what characterization are we talking about...would you have imagined Ashu speaking the lines that he did?

The same mentally unstable woman, showing clear signs of physical abuse stayed at a five star hotel and nobody thought to ask her questions...in this day and age with the threat of terrorism looming large, it would be next to impossible to get a hotel room without proper IDs etc...which hotel would accomodate a mentally unstable guest by herself and subsequently throw her out on the streets...forget the humanitarian aspects, they will be setting themselves up for a lawsuit for mental and physical harrassment of a woman...any hotel would logically call the police in under the circumstances, even assuming that they had no way of verifying her background or calling her next of kin!

The writer's creativity and maturity truly confound me!
