Yes.. this is a question thats been bugging me about Nidhi... off late..

Why do ...at different points of time... in different situations ...do Nidhi have to LIE/ HIDE things from Ashu??😳

Be it then the incident of Rohan leaving a Love Letter for Nidhi which she promptly hides from Ashu's view and now it lies eerily within Ashu's reach

Be it again ...Nidhi lying to Ashu about searching/ not searching Mallu ...

I dont get it... what is the need to lie??

As they say 'Jhoot ki buniyad pe pyaar ka mahal nahi khada ho sakta' ... i really fail to see the point of all this lying barring the oppurtunity to create misunderstandings leading to strife/ heartache and our headache..!

Ashu was the one who told Nidhi that he sees care and concern in Rohans eyes for Nidhi ..then y cant she share this with him??

Again now.. coming to Mallu ... why does she have to lie ? She can share her concern about Mallu to Ashu and also assure to take care of her but by maintaining a distance...😕

Dunno... what GUL ...this LYING & HIDING will yield... albeit it seems that there wont b a need to lie about finding Mallu ... as its Nidhi who will spot Mallu.. but i wonder.. will she feel guilt-ridden of having LIED TO ASHU??! 😊

Agree with u totally .. Why did she have to lie. She herself had said that lying to Ashu would be a dhoka...but then she went ahead and did it.
I again say that the least she could do was to go and settle the hotel bill - at least then she could have said that she has done that. Iam sure no one at the hotel would have actually have any clue abt Mallika - so Nidhi would not need have had the reason to lie at all...She will never be able to get over the fact that she has lied...I hope they show her confess to Ashu and also try to explain her fear to him...But our CVs are never so sensible...
Yesterday's epi has sort of depressed me - Am thinking abt Ashu - who having seen his friend in distress has entrusted his wife to help him out as he is unable to do anything - and on the other hand Nidhi who out of fear of her marriage and love being endangered has taken this step of lying to Ashu...Why did she not consult Armaan instead of Anji ...Am sure Armaan would have given a balanced advice...
Have to wait till 11 pm to see what happens...

Didn't Ashu lied about going picnic-it's ntural though it may not b grammatically right.
Mallu is such a worse character in this particular thing, anyone wd b worried about her presence.About Rohan-it was just in very primary stage and then it seems over now(at least in Nidhi's POV)-so we understand her-why need 2 bother Ashu or why 2 change Ashu's attitude towards Rohan-afterall it was a sweet friendship from Nidhi's POV.
But last of all,it is obvious that as understanding grows, they wd share every little thing within them.I hope it comes true in future.

@tanu: Nice thoughtful post. Nidhi only lied abt mallu to ashu bcoz she didn't see hw badly mallu is shape.. Plus she knws mallu cn wrack havoc in ashni married life as well.. Regarding rohan's letter is made for future track to bring rohan aka karan wahi back.. It will keep hanging.. Dnt want mallu @ ashni's home @ any cost.. Kp hd earlier said that armu left the house bcoz they wanted give ashni space in their relationship..:) all in all he might hv indirectly meant mallu won't stay @ ashni's home.. Plus ashu hs asked nidhi to locate sue & adi.. Btw tanu, pls empty ur inbox. I cudn't rply u yesterday..

In any relation Trust & Truth matters the most & usually when you dont trust a person you try to lie to him. Nidhi should have told Ashu about Rohan's letter & also that he loves her but she always treated him as a good friend. Its always better to know directly from the person in question than from a 3rd person or outsider. Ashu would have easily understood if Nidhi had told him before but now after hiding it from him she is asking for trouble.

Even regarding Mallika as a Doctor Nidhi should search her & get treatment for her but she can always discuss with Ashu about her fears where Mallika is concerned & I am sure Ashu would have understood now that he is married to Nidhi.

Lying is not at all a solution infact it attracts more problems.

Compared to the situation now, lying about the picnic was not that serious... Here Ashu has totally trusted to Nidhi to help him out when he is unable to do anything himself...Maybe after seeing Mallika in such a pitiable condition - he is not in a mind to understand what Nidhi will be going thru when he had made this request...

Agreed Tanu,
Hiding things is not a good idea...and things crop up when least expected.
Same with lying. An open relationship is needed, at the end of day, when the starry period of love marriage is over, trust is needed to maintain the marriage.
What Nidhi could have done (wrt the letter) tabhi to chhupa diya, but later on during a casual conversation, could have told Ashu about Rohan's feelings towards her and her "friendship" with Rohan. And Ashu knows about Rohan.
About not wanting to find Mallika: her concerns are known to Ashu...anyways, with the upcoming episode, as Nidhi will get Mallika to the hospital, this small "white lie" will die a natural death.
That letter scares me...

i agree n she is digging her own grave.. m sure Mallu will b moving in AshNi house.. n that takes away AshNi privacy..once Mallu resumes Doctory.. Nidhi will b making dabbas for them both and they will b back to being hosp buddies... 😆 ..atrocious scenario.. n i dun want it..😡
