Very nicely written Janvi. 👏

Somewhat in line with my comments in Tanu's post. Yes, while I liked most of the epi, I still think addition of a simple ILU would have done wonders. This is nothing to take away from the efforts of the KTLK team that have delivered one of the most difficult, awkward moments for any show in a clean, decent and graceful manner. Very subtle, true KTLK style, an SR moment the entire family could actually view together and even enjoy!

I loved how Ashu opened up not only during the choreographed foreplay but right from the moment he found her. The hugs was so natural and spontaneous today. Considering how hesitant he was when Nidhi hugged him before the engagement, today's hugs were a visual treat for me just from Ashu's perspective. Showed how far he has come and how much he loved being married to Nidhi. I hope CVs show him becoming more demonstrative now.

Again, when they were talking about their misadventures on each of their 3 nights since the wedding, it was almost as if both of them were regretting not being able to get intimate. 😳 Again this is unlike so many shows where we see couples in love, not in love, married or forced to marry, whatever, not really wanting to get intimate for a long time. But not in KTLK, here there is no such hesitation from either one. Infact as if by mutual consent they wanted to take this relationship forward at the first available opportunity and they did just that. 👏

Agreed. If this was a Young Couple Romance,i wd not have been satisfied definitely with such a short and less daring scenes but if it's for AshNi,it perfectly suits. And Ashu is the character who just hesitated to hug back bfor the engagement! It wd b completely filmy if he suddenly bcam too much bold at first intimacy. There wd b lots of romance in future and the passion should come slowly as for the storyline goes,of course even maintaining the decency.
It was one of the best ever episodes for me.

@ all thank you for your varied points of view..

For me, what worked for me big time is the fact that Nidhi was neither aggressive nor did she lie back and think of England!! They were consenting adults wanting to give as well as take. A welcome change from the sexy sirens and the shrinking violets that are usually par for the course.

Censored!!

I would personally like to watch some more sweet, subtle romance, more verbal foreplay, more stolen hugs and kisses ( I say stolen since they live in a joint family) before they descend to the realm of hot passion. Having crossed the invisible barrier, casual intimacy should now become the rule of the day. I want to see their everyday romance much more than intense, one-off moments in the bedroom.

P.S - I am glad that the ' I love you' phrase wasn't thrown around. After all that they have shared, verbalizing is not necessary. Not when every gesture of theirs is replete with their shared love.

Hey...I made no comparison...I just said that Sharad Kelkar has not had too many romantic scenes to perform ever since he's started playing Ashu...!

I subscribe to a school which believes in self-censorship. While I am personally against bashing, bad-mouthing any actor or whoever, it is a sad thing if there is to be no scope for free and frank exchange of views.

However, I am not a rule-breaker. If there are rules, then they must be respected or you are better off making a graceful exit. Having broken the code twice in the last twenty-four hours, I have come to the conclusion that I am better off doing the latter. Was a pleasure interacting with y'all even if briefly. God bless!
