OK,i'm telling it in short.Ashutosh-42 yrs Doctor and Nidhi-24yrs intern(not working now) r in Luv.Ashu is shy but Nidhi is bubbly.Ashu had a 12yrs frnd Mallika but Ashu didn't luv him ever.Mallika tried 2 get him and used all good or worst ways 2 separate them,even tried 2 harm Nidhi but after being failed, finally now married 2 another person.She may come back later.Nidhi has a friend called Rohan-he helped to build their relation but finally himself falls for Nidhi.But he isn't negative,so he is going away from them.He may also come back little later.Anji is Nidhi's childhood frnd and she is in Luv with Ranganath,another Doc of Ashutosh's Hospital.Ashutosh has a good friend named Armaan also.Co-incidently Ashu is a orphan and whom he calls Baba(who adopted him) is Nidhi's Nana also-but it's not problem bcas Ashutosh isn't legally adopted even.Now after many dramas,Ashutosh and Nidhi r married.Now how their bonding grows despite their age-difference and different personalityies,is the story of the show.
