What did we sign for?

If this marriage/ honeymoon track is to improve TRPs, I really pity the pathetic state at which Indian TV is in.

If I would like to see all these marriage functions... I would prefer 'Sasural simar ka' or some such sort where most elegant boy marrying a pretty girl is a treat to watch with all those elaborate arrangements...

And that makes me watch those shows even more rather than KTLK.. (no improvement in TRP either way)

for that matter, it would have been more appropriate if this AshNi marriage has been a registered one just like Mallika's.


On a serious note, more than haldi / mehendi/ xyz functions, I am more interested in the Rohan's turn.

Remember, once upon a time we started watching this show for the age-gap love story. Unfortunately, the story turned out to be, the lover couple (are they?) could not do any thing for themselves and for some strange, unknown and not so convincing reasons others have decided that these two should not be a couple and in a jiffy now every one agreed.

If the focus is on something like... Rohan does something that only a hum-umr could do and not an 18 year older than girl couldnt do... or hero may prove he is capable... it is more interesting to watch...

The relationships between BB and Nidhi & family should grow. Unfortunately, BB & DB were shown hi-fiving for silly reasons... they were not bosom friends earlier... They never met each other for that matter...and this kinda gesture is not swallowable... 😲

Let the society or atleast the KGH (which is totally non existent now) people talk something... Romance or love should be a subtle part of this back drop...

I do see your point Mudra👍🏼 but KTLK desperately needs TRPs right now due to the current situation it is in whether due to the BDs, replacement fiasco or the crazy tracks.And if this is the only way in which it can get TRPs, I am all for it👍🏼.Plus the months of endless rona dhona have drained me out so much that I am more than excited for the elaborate Shaadi track.🥳
Another thing, I was initially excited about the Rohan track since it would have brought out the protective Ashu, but from what I have seen so far, Karan Wahi does not seem capable of pulling of a SRK. He seems more like a tantrum throwing ten year old who gets on my nerves. 🤢
But yes, I would like to see the society atleast KGH people talking about Ashni marriage/relation.👍🏼

I guess, this should be a serious debate now in the TV show world... and high time to change the success/failure calculation based on this type of TRP.

So true. This TRP system kind of kills the entire theme of the show, although in case of KTLK the downward dip of trps ever since the initial few days, is kind of justified with the separate frames and no touch policy(by that I don't mean I wanted them to kiss or anything🤣) they had even after the confession. After all who is interested in watching a show if the leads themselves are not present for a scene?

Mudra, very valid points raised, agree that we all started with this show because it was a refreshing change from the regular soaps.

Hmmm... a point to ponder... here I see,something... as far as TRP is concerned...

If the double frame or no touch... have lowered the TRP, ... now with single frames TRP would have sky rocketed...which is not surely... that means, seriously something is wrong with the story --- the crave for TRP.

and as I have mentioned, If I had signed up for such a story, I would have watched IPKKND... which is a treat to watch... definitely not KTLK.

I am reserved about the tracks as elaborate marriage and later HM as they are not the ones that go down well with this type of story...

Seriously, the TRP system should be changed.. otherwise good storylines bite dust this way!

But we have been so deprived of positive and happy scenes that we are willing to accept the shaadi hungama.

I guess I have said this very often, post-marriage holds a lot of scope for drama and gripping storyline.Ashu being single for so long can have issues adjusting to someone in his life and room. He sleeps early while Nidhi wants to chat with him, there has ben no woman in that house, so they can explore how all of them are at a loss to accomodate a young woman in a male-dominated house. These are real-life issues,

Even Rohan turning negative can work well for AshNi with Ashu being the target without his knowledge and Nidhi being the protective tigress.😉
