Deepa...good suggestions...but am I glad there was IF...am getting over but still can't make myself watch the actual episodes...

@Lizzie...got the whole set of Chetan Bhagat books from Crossword when I came to India...right now reading the latest Mary Higgins Clark...for me too reading a soothing pastime...and listening to music ...

Great post deepa for me retail therapy is the best option and it really has worked as i ended up doing it yesterday.😊😊😊

I will try to get hold of the one u mentioned.
2 states was the the only one I read of CB's books.
Liz I am from kerala and I too could relate to his descriptions😆
There is not a single moment in the book that bores u; most of the time ended up laughing aloud
Have u read Jerome K Jerome's 'three men in a boat'??? that was a classic humorous piece ! had me in splits🤣

Shammo !!! Wish my hug emo was working... I love "three men in a boat!" it's awesome, rib-tickling! And I love to read comics... Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes... They never fail to make me smile.. Doug Adams is insanely funny, Oscar Wilde's plays have oodles of satire.. Also love wicked, dark humour... Like in Monty python and Black Adder.

Vas: Mary Higgins Clark is super. my favourite mystery author still remains Agatha Christie.. Her who-dun-it's are unbeatable...

Deepa... All AC is awesome acc to me... hercule poirot series and Miss Marple... Her short stories rock too...
Start with "ten little niggers", I believe it's called "and then there were none" in some paperbacks!!! It's awesome!
