Review Part 7

Here comes the MB addict wid yet another detailed review...

Part 8 a bit like AR rehman songs ... need a second reading to get its full meaning.

So let's start...

Hehe love the opening... Rang-anji shadi... almost as if picking form the engagement sequence in DK... hmm shadi=return of the prodigal daughter. The nice part from the intro is we get to see how ashu is perceived by others and we can appreciate the full cost that he has to deal with.

I cannot believe am saying that but you have made like Mallika, and what i like here is that her analysis of ashu is more genuine as a friend who is deeply concerned.

Nids "Kya phir se Dr. Hardstone ban gaye hain?" she asked with a sad laugh. Though a seeming off hand remark shows her real feelings and thought, as if almost hoping for that to be true.

Hmm the house resurfaces and i must admit in a surprising way, yet it is all done in a logical way

The non appearance of ashu serves to murky the water... he is not here kyon kahan ??? wets our appetite as readers we ask ourselves the same questions that Nidhi does.

Hmm the climax here is the going to ashu's house, the expectation that gets watered down. She goes there wid hope only to meet with armaan.

"Pata nahin. I don't know Nidhi. I really don't."

The helplessness of Armaan is clearly visible he is at a loss and i do ke Hmm i almost feels as if armaan resents nids here especially when he describes the changes in ashu, as if the ashu he could read so well now has become a mystery.

Lekin itna assure karti hoon ki maine give up nahin kiya hai."

Nidhi left and Armaan smiled. There was some hope after all.

And that is what changes my perception... shayad armaan was being hard to elicit a reaction and maaan does he get one. In a way the dance of extreme has started... the more ashu will want to let go the more he will end up be haunted by her.

The exchange between ashu and armaan is too good ... the worry is here but the more armaan tries to come near ashu goes away. Then comes the killer sentence... "Nidhi meri zindagi mein nahin hai." Haaaila i could visualise Mb saying that and how he could look saying so.

Once away from everyone else, he held the package close to his heart and pressed it between his arms and chest as if hugging it.

Once again it is in loneliness that he can let his guard down let the pain come out...let the facade fall and be the human that he is one who is hurting because the love of his life is not here.

Nobody saw it. But that night Dr. Ashutosh Mathur cried. He cried loudly. And when he had exhausted his tears, he put one of the CDs in his laptop, played the ghazals and drifted off to sleep without even changing out of his day clothes.

Loved that part coz it reminded me of the phonecall seq just like last time he finds the courage to go through in Nidhi again showing her importance in his life

The proposal interlude another necessary must but at the same time the attitude of nids is commendable you can feel her frustration but she never oversteps her limit firmly she does let her position be known.

In a way this part is a roller coaster, but you have to feel bad for Nidhi as she is at the receiving end of it all. Her hurt is visible for all the feel when she realises that her lifeline that is the phone is gone completely gone. But you have to appreciate her selfless nature, she is hurt but again she is just out to bring him some happiness ( in a way i feel that this is more zoya than Nids)

Nidhi was crying too. Ashutosh disconnecting the mobile had deprived her of the only way remaining of being in contact with him. And as if that was not enough of a pain, Baba had called her that day asking her to meet Rohan. The boy Dadi Bua had in mind for her.

"Tum apni zidd nahin chhodogi Nidhi?" he had said.

"Kaisi zidd Baba?"

"Dr. Ashutosh ki'"

"Maine kaun si zidd ki Baba. Jo aap nahin chahte, woh to maine nahin kiya. Lekin ab to aap zidd kar rahe hain na. Main shaadi ke liye taiyaar nahin hoon Baba. Aap please mujh par pressure mat daaliye."

She rued over what was happening in her life. Everyone meant well for her. Baba as well as Dr. Ashutosh. And yet, both of them were hurting her. She couldn't even hurt them back for a revenge. She loved them both.

--

Very poignant scene... she too now lets go... her pain her frustration... she feels like a puppet being torn in all corners yet each one is trying to make her see things their way not taking in what she could be feeling and in keeping the promises to her baba and ashu she ends up dying of slow death and the tragic part here is that no one is realising how she is being affected... baba thinks he is doing his duty that ASHNI can never be together because it would not work whilst Ashu feels that by pushing her away he is giving her the chance of a better life.

The MB addict will hit again tomorrow as part 7 needs some more re reading and i need to come out from dreaming of MB acting that part 7 out...

Bear hug for double update.

Shari

Sharifaaa... How do I review your reviews 😛 But the AR Rehman songs comparison had me bowled over and left me grinning ear to ear 😃

Armaan doesn't resent Nidhi really. Everyone, including Mallika and Armaan realize that as much as Nidhi loved her Baba, it wasn't really her decision to give up on the relationship. It was Ashu who had always stepped back. Nidhi just followed him blindly. And the only hope of anyone having an influence on Ashu is Nidhi herself. He isn't going to listen to anyone, including the childhood friend Armaan, in this regard. So, there is no one else Armaan can turn to for help when it comes to Ashu's happiness. And when he asks Nidhi if she can't get her Baba to agree, he isn't scared that Nidhi will be angry at him for asking this. He is afraid that Ashutosh will be angry. Again a reflection of his belief that Ashu is the the one who has stepped back, not Nidhi. It is Ashu's insistence that Nidhi should not be at crossroads. Nidhi herself is willing to face that problem and optimistic about solving it, even if she doesn't have a plan.

Ashu and Nidhi - well... You see their pain spot on. And also how Nidhi is sandwiched between two people she loves and who love her back. In this part her frustration is still kept only to herself. It is in front of Ashu that she finally break down and demands replies about why she is unhappy, when everyone is supposedly looking after her and wants her to be happy. And that's the point when Ashu realizes how in trying to do good for her, he has ended up making her miserable. Finally he will accept that stepping back was not the right thing to do and he has to stand up for their feelings.

thank you very very much to keep writing diffrernt viewpoints of the story...
OMG...Nidhi's completely not following what she is preaching...😭 being a doc, she cant b so careless...aprreciate Ashu's professionalism to talk with her on a sensitive issue...without any hesitation...
i am waiting for the next part...lets see what precautionery steps are taken...
also i am happy that in your series dadi-bua is not taking too much of limelight...i totally cant tolerate her in the serial right now👏
