Mohnish Behl, don't quit 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge'!

Fans of the show are unpleasantly shocked at the recent development. And they have all sent their views to bollywoodlife!

The announcement that Mohnish Behl aka Dr Ashutosh of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is going to quit the show has not gone down well with viewers. KTLK fans vented their grief on our website and pleaded to Mohnish to get well soon, take rest and even consult a (real life) doctor, but not leave the show. There are pleas to Sony head honchos too, urging them to work around Mohnish's illness and not replace him. BL visitor Alwine had an interesting solution for the problem: KTLK should follow the format of American TV shows. "MB is soul ofKTLK. Without him I can not watch it anymore. Its better to give seasonal break to recover him and then start again. Already there are several shows going on on Sony TV, till that time give other serial more time. When MB fully recover start KTLK again."(sic)
BL visitor Manisha even insisted that Anuj Saxena is not the correct replacement for Mohnish. Only one of the 26 comments we've received so far is in favour of the change, insisting that it will be great to see Anuj back on television after a long time. Everyone else claims that they love Mohnish's chemistry with Kritika Kamra so much that they will not watch the show once he has quit. The story has reached a point where both Ashutosh and Nidhi are ready to disclose their love to her father and get married. For a few fans, it will be a much better idea to end the serial at this point rather than replace Mohnish. Without him, the show will be "lifeless", they say.

You may recall that there had been a similar wave of fury when Sushant Singh Rajput walked out of Zee's Pavitra Rishta and Hiten Tejwani stepped in. The show, which banked on Sushant's chemistry with real and reel life partner Ankita Lokhande, has slipped since then. According to the latest TAM results, Pavitra Rishta has 3.77 TVR and is the ninth-rated show across all Hindi general entertainment channels. It remains Zee's best, but is struggling to stay among the top 10 across channels. It remains to be seen how low on the charts Sony and Mohnish's decision will push KTLK.

Been writing the same thing the last couple of days. Somehow convince MB to spend another month on this show, wrap up all the unfinished threads and end this show on a good note. I am sure viewers will be happy to have good memories of this show even if it was telecast for 6 months only...Atleast the memories of Ashni will be intact!!😊
