Rajan's two Surprises
Rajan Shahi is slowly emerging as a big and one of the most successful producers in recent times. The director who turned producer with Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has made six shows in four years. Six months ago he launched two shows — Kuch To Log Kahenge and Havan.
Next week, two of his shows will go on air within a day or two on different channels. While Jamuna Paar will be launched on February 27 on Imagine, Amrit Manthan will debut on Life OK. "I am happy that my company is launching two shows almost simultaneously which are diametrically different from each other," he says. Amrit Manthan is a story set in Punbaj. Rajan adds, "It is a show with very strong story and edgy characters where every emotion is shown in extreme be it romance, bitterness or suspense."
