I am very happy because I got a chance to share our views, feedback and suggestions about the loving show. I believe this feedback will help in improving the show.

Because it was Dhoop Kinare Adoption, I was attracted to this show. The promos and Title track were in line with Dhoop Kinare story board. The very first episode introduced us to the brooding Hero Ashutosh who has mesmerized all of us. Most of my colleagues and friends with whom I had discussed told they are attracted towards the characters of Ashutosh and Nidhi.

First 40 episodes were dream... Flow was good. Narration, dialogs and acting every thing was going perfect. But suddenly due to TRP pressure, the soothing love-story has turned dramatic. Nidhi was fired from hospital. After that things started moving out of control.

A love story in which a 40+ brooding man has to fall in love has taken jet speed and in less than 2 weeks we have seen both Ashutosh and Nidhi confessing their love for each other. After confessing also, there is no consistent growth in their relation and the required depth in love which can weather the storms of society, family rejection etc is not built up.

Instead the tracks are going Hayward.. Every alternate week story line is taking a different twist and before the track settles down, it is left open and the story moves to another track.

I have identified key problem areas as

1. consistency and depth in the characters

2. Depicting the age difference

3. Logic

4.Body Doubles

5. Camera and Editing Issues

6.Too many Open Tracks

Consistency and depth in Characters

Dr.Ashutosh, Dr.Nidhi and Dr.Mallika's characters were made oscillating between different behavior patterns.

Dr. Nidhi:

Dr. Nidhi's behavior swings towards her career, her carefree and aimless nature towards her profession makes the character very shallow.

Most of the viewers of Sony and this show are educated urban middle class ladies from India and abroad. they take their education and career very serious. So most of the viewers are not able to connect with the female lead.

Being serious in career, working hard etc qualities bring credibility and depth to the characters which is important to connect to viewers.

Suggestion: Nidhi has to start working at Kotnis ASAP.

Dr. Ashutosh:

A suave, brooding and confident Doctor whom we have seen in the initial episodes is gone with the wind. Ashutosh has become a weeping, insecure, restless person, who cannot think on his own. Also his attitude towards Mallika is very oscillating. He is too pally for some time and too curtail for some time.

Some Key Changes required:

1. Stop using the word "Brain Surgeon". Uneducated people may talk eyes specialist, Heart Specialist, Brain surgeon etc words but professional doctors will never call them selves as "Brain Surgeons" . Ashutosh should be refereed as Nuro Surgeon.

2. He should stop looking in to files. All other shows will have leads as business men so for them that is ok. But here, Ashutosh has to be in action. He did not use stethoscope from last 20 to 30 episodes.

3. He has to be anchor of his love life. The character is unpredictable, we agree that is his nature but on the name of this unpredictability, Ashutosh cannot be made act and react differently for same situations. A stability should be there in the character. He needs to be grounded and by the confidence he gets from the love of Nidhi, he will learn to be a balanced and confident soul. That is the essence of this character.

Dr.Mallika:

Most spoiled character. The Dhoop Kinare's Sheena character had a grace. Making a good doctor and Surgeon a vamp is too bad. A doctor cannot be this bad because they see births and deaths so closely. The drama created in the show by spoiling Mallika's character did not yield any benefits.

Suggestion: This character has to be redeemed to a respectable doctor who accepts her love failure with grace.

Apart from these 3 characters, showing an IIM graduate Rohan jobless is also not going well with educated audience. He has to have a meaningful profession if his role continues long.

Depicting the Age Difference

While trying to depict the problems arising because of age difference, the script writers confused the viewers on thier topic. couple with different tastes or couple with compatibility issues or couple with age difference... What is to be highlighted? The food, clothing, music etc can never show age gap issues. they are personality differences.

Suggestions:

1. How they handle a pressure situation? Nidhi may show more courage because she is inexperienced and may not envisage the future

2. Maturity in Ashu - Nidhi may say we will marry without family consent. But Ashu will say we need to wait and convince them

3. How they handle work - Experience and maturity differences can be established very clearly here

Logic:

We know that any daily soap needs certain un realistic and dramatic twists to survive but at the same time the basic code of conduct of any job, profession or role cannot be so unrealistic.

The way Bank manager was shown putting pressure for loan payment was very illogical.

The episodes leading to BABA's heart attack and house sale by Nidhi were full of illogical points where the leads will not talk over phones. their best buddies Armaan and Rohan also will not talk over mobiles... etc

in episode 64, there was a scene in which the car stops in the jungle. Ashutosh could not repair and Rohan comes for help. Till today viewers could not understand how this scene helped in the story line. What was the use of creating this scene?

The sequence with Hair Dye was also not taken well by audience. The characters in this show are doctors and we expect certain maturity and respect from these characters.

Suggestion: KTLK team knows better

Try to stick to hospital environment and create scenes around the issues they get in profession then only authenticity may come to the sequences.

Body Doubles:

Another pestering issue with this show is excess use of BDs. In all other shows BDs are used occasionally where as here, we see both the leads together occasionally and we see them more with BDs. They are in combined shots with other characters but when they both should be together, BDs are used. This is hampering the connection of viewers with the characters. Because of the BDs, the scenes are so abrupt. The expressions are confusing at times. So over all quality is effecting.

Eg: in episode 98, Ashutosh told, let us go from here. And Episode 99 starts with BD and Nidhi walking some where with all the kandeels and lights. So viewers have to assume, they have traveled and come to the Baradari. These kind of bits and pieces are becoming too abrupt. Because other shows we see will not be this abrupt.

Suggestion: PH knows better how to handle this issue.

Camera and Editing Issues:

We learned that TV is a medium of close ups but viewers will not connect better if the scene is not shown from a distance and we understand who is standing/sitting where etc. In this show, majority of the times only close ups are shown and characters will talk into the camera all the time. We need to show little moments etc. This is more with leads because BDs are used with them all the time.

In Episode 94, at the Ophthalmologist, both Nidhi and Ashutosh were shown from the Right side of the doctor. Ideally they both are to be shown from left and right side of him.

Episode 65, Dr.Ashutosh seems to be blank to understand in which direction he has to see when Dr.Nidhi is entering his cabin. In this same episode, the BD's face is caught in the camera.

Episode 63, we see abrupt camera work and editing. Viewers cannot follow the story.

these are examples and I can list 10 more like this. But I want to drive a point that shady work is happening in technical departments.

Suggestions: Please focus on minute details also and establish some review process before you release the episode for airing.

Too many open tracks :

Confession happened and before building the relation between the hesitant couple, house track is started. without settling it completely, the age difference/insecurities etc track and jumped into Mallika's vengeance, from there Nidhi and Rohan Marriage plan track.. All these are going on in parallel .

In between all these tracks, the essence of this story... ie., building and evolving the relation between Ashutosh and Nidhi is completely lost.

Suggestion: Please focus on the love-story more. Concentrate on building the relation between these two lovely people. All other sub plots should lead to this main plot.

Ranga and Anji story has to continue slowly and their story shows the contrast between the two couples.

Some other points:

1. This love story is happening in 2012 and between two doctors. They have to show a passion towards each other which is missing. Nothing wrong if they touch each other as a gesture of affection or belongingness.

2. Too many powerful actors and balancing all of them is a tough task. In all these power stars, the attention on the Leads should not be missed

3. Armaan and Rohan cannot sit at home and keep drinking coffee and eat noodles respectively for long time.

4. Instead of a different background music, the bit from title track can be used to depict the sayyain moments between the couple.

Good Points:

1. the scenes between Armaan and Ashutosh bring a great feast to eyes.

2. All the background songs selected till now are very good and apt. Kudos to whoever is responsible for it.

3. All the actors in this show are doing a great job.

4. The dialogs are also very apt and good in most of the situations.

5. Special mention to the Leads Mohnish and Kritika. Though they are acting with BDs, with their acting skills they are trying best to bring the required validity and credibility to the characters.

Once again Thanks alot for reading all this. Hope this feedback helps you in understanding what the viewers feel about the show.

Hello Sir,

KTLK is one serial, we fall for seeing the very first promo...Then with the second, third promo our expectation, interest only increased...Then after 3rd october our life have changed...We loved the serial, cherished the serial, used to watch each and every episode more than 10 times, be it repeat telecast, be it on Youtube...We became crazy

But then the TRP race started, we dont know why this show did not get the TRP , it thoroughly deserve...But from the day the Producers/directors/writers started to think
on TRP line, KTLK journey towards the downfall began. And this is very painful for us to see it going downwards because this is one show we feel ourself attached with.

The following are some points I tried to find out. I could not resist myself to write this. So an apology first for such a long post

1 > Main theme of the show :
This show is based on Hospital romance, how the characters will discover each other, how they will start trusting and respecting each other as a human being first ,then doctor and then will eventually fall in love was supposed to be the main theme.
But we get to see Nidhi fell in Love with Ashu in Jet plane speed and for no reason being fired and then Ashu's admitting love to himself in Rocket speed. If we can still accept Nidhi's admitting of love , we just dont get when , how, why Ashu fall in love with a young intern, Is it only because she is honest, daring and love children ? Do not they need some time to spend with each other before this ? Only some moment in Ashu's house is enough for any couple to fall in love ?

Suggestion : -- Please bring back Nidhi to Hospital. They are in Love, but still they dont know each other.Let them spend time together and rediscover each other

2 > Logicality : [ Firstly the biggest setback of the show, from which this show did not recover yet. And each and every track is being tried now is getting failed because of this setback. That is Nidhi's sacking from Hospital.]

The characters in this show are shown as extraordinarily brilliant but are sitting like jobless people
---Nidhi All India 14th Rank medical student ( this is another ques, there is All India medical Joint,but no all India exam for completion of the MBBS )
--- Rohan : IIM stud...But doing nothing instead of eating maggie all the time
---Arman : Owner of fashion house in mumbai. But does not look after his business ever since the day he came to Lucknow, what happened to his plan to open a fashion
house in Lucknow ?

If India's young generation is being shown in the show, who will be seen with such carefree attitude about their career ?

Bank Manager doing all craps listening to his sister advice, changing the loan decision every second, informing the customer about this on phone, no written communication
no other person in the bank questioning all these, Solanki uncle being an advocate does not know that these are not lawful but still not doing anything

List is endless : I can go one, but that would make this post very large. ( Actually it is allready, sorry for that )

Suggestion :--Yes, we can not expect logic iall the time in a daily soap in India, may be its charm would be lost then. But there are some facts which can not be accepted however we try. We can ignore some, for our love and loyality in the show , but not all.

3> Negativity :
Too much negativity shown in terms of Mallika, Suhasini . Mallika's character was shown so elegant, classy initially. But then she became a Saas bahu vamp, her character was buthcered.

Suggestion : A daily soap to run , needs some negative characters. But then the negativity should not be so much that the viewers can not take the pain and leave this serial. Believe me this happened that is during the time of Baba's heart attack, bankruptcy so many viewers bid ggod bye to this show. I have friends who did that. At the end of the day we watch any show to be entertained , to feel light at the end of a hectic day,not to feel sad and not to fight against our bad mood, which we have to everyday because of our daily problems in real life

4 > Body Doubles : -The Irony is every illogical thing , though as a viewer we kept on pointing out, but at the same time was glued to the show because of our ASHNI...Their chemisty, their eyelocks, longing for each other was a treat to watch...We loved MB and KK, both of their body languages for each other... everything...
But post durgah scene the trend starts in KTLK, is using Body Doubles in each and every episode...Yes, BDs were used ealier also in this show, but not much, and since after first 42 episode , separation track was going on, we did not mind using BDs ...
But after love confession, when they are together, when they are romancing ( Romance is again a big question mark !!! ), when they are meeting can not we expect them
in the same frame ? Day after day, the BDs are given more screen presence in this show. Everyday we get to see Ashu is romancing Nidhi BD, and Nidhi is romacing Ashu BD

We viewers are not fool. and the second we understand that Ashu and Nidhi are not in single frame, we lost our interest in that scene. The ASHNI chemistry , which kept
us addicted to this show despite every illogical thing, started to get fade out...The second we understand that they are not in single frame, we can not believe that they are actually together talking/romancing/fighting each other, we could not believe that they are actually a couple in love. It feels like we are watching any documentary film .The good dialogues of the show are getting wasted because of this BD issue and most imortantly dont you understand that these are affecting their performance also ? The performance they give in single frame are miles ahead comparing the same shooting with BDs.

Suggestion : - We understand that sometimes the PHs are unable to sort out the lead's date together since they both are very busy stars...But then this contradicts the fact that most of the time the leads shoot in single frame with the other characters. We will not mind if the leads are shown with the side characters with BDs, ( Obviously it will be nice to have them also in single frame ), But we would love if the leads are shown in single frame all the time. Only this will keep our interest and faith on this show. Now Director's kut being a very known famous Production House , knows better than us how to get the lead's date together.

5 > Romance :
From the very few episodes initially ( like Nidhi meet Ashu in his house everyday ) , where is the romance in this show considering it a lovestory ?
After those initial awesome episodes ( 42 episodes ), we only got three romantic scene in this show---Durgah ( destroyed because of BDs) , Violine date, V Day ( pendant scene )

Is it our fault that in a lovestory we are expecting Love, compassion, Intimacy, Affinity ? Touching each other is a very natural expression of love...Like after selling the house, Baba in hospital when Ashu and Nidhi are meeting from the first time, can not the Man assures her touching her shoulder ? Can not the man wipe the tear from his girl's eyes with his own hand ? When Ashu is being shown very insecure after the Disco night , can not Nidhi hold his hand and let him know that whatever the society thinks of our relationship, I am with you...Are all these demands vulgar ?

Suggestion : - Sometimes Action spoke volume better than the words. And in a lovestory this is very natural. And we are not living in 18th century to watch this platonic
lovestory. Please show us, what is very natural in a lovestory, and what is very natural in a couple in love...

6 > Inconsistency :

Every character in this show does a flip flop...Be it Ashutosh ( Sudden love realization, sudden insecurities and then again very confident about relationship ), be it Nidhi( Not serious about Career,again at the time of Baba's heart attack being serious about the career, then again forgot all that), Be it Mallika ( from a classy character, who is in Love with Ashu for the past 12 years, suddenly became a Vamp ), be it Nidhi's Baba ( Himself did a love marriage that too running away with his bride 26 years ago in a conservative time , but not accepting the same love when there is age gap )
And no track in this show is given any time to develop. Everything is done very hurriedly. Such as we are watching an Fast forward show.

Suggestion -- Please be consistent while writing the script. While writing anything please remember what had been shown to audience about the characters / incidents earlier and then start progressing not like writing what you feel like at that time. Please give some time to develop any track. ( not negative though )

7 > Less ASHNI moments :
Be it in single frame or be it with Body doubles ASHNI is not given deserved screen presence in the show. Offcourse a daily soaps needs many side characters. But in a 22 min show ( minus the advertisement time ), the lead pair should be given atleast 3-5 min together in one episode. But the day after day, the characters in this show is increasing without properly utilizing the existing resources ( Dr Ranganath and Anji are most unutilized as per me), and in all mess the Leads are not being shown together

Suggestion : I guess bringing back Nidhi to Hospital, would solve this problem to some extent.

8 > Technical faults : When the leads are shooting together ie in single frame please show both of them in the screen instead of the close ups...
We are more interested to show the action and reaction at the same time of both of them, than the close ups...

Suggestion : The KTLK team knows this better than us.

Last but not the least Please dont run after TRP. Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is a show meant for the Class. Dont ruin it to make it for the mass. If quality is shown, then TRP will rise automatically, may be it will take some time, but it will surely do.

And I know Every cast and crew of KTLK team is very much talented and praised worthy, because of their effort only, we are in Love with the Serial. Since the last 2 week, I believe the serial is trying to get back on track. But still there are some areas they could improve. So I tried to point out those

Thanks to everyone for this opportunity to speak about my favorite show...

KTLK...a different love story, a mature love story., adapted from a classic...DK that ruled the 80s...the hero..42, the heroine, 24, both in love for the first time in their lives, the story... amazing; the acting... first rate, the chemistry...sizzling

but

The impact...diluted; the scripting..., vague, jerky with too many loose ends; the characterizations... inconsistent...especially where the leads are concerned.

Some possible reasons...

Issue # 1: BDs/single frames/close-ups

This show suffers from excessive use of BDs and single frame shots/ close-ups. Where there are important scenes between the leads and its required to establish the element of chemistry by having them feeding off each other, we either have them talking to a BD or a ghost!!!

And the acting HAS suffered as a result.. neither of the leads look completely convincing when they do these single frame scenes or scenes with a BD and that's a shame because they are brilliant actors individually. Its sad that their potential as fabulous actors par excellence is not being reached due to this issue. And isn't acting all about reacting? Then how is a romantic scene going to look convincing with BDs?

Also the excessive use of close-ups is jarring...the viewers want to see reaction on the faces of the other actors, at the moment a dialogue is being spoken and not at the immediate next moment. Close-up shots in every scene are truly robbing us from watching some of the possible magic, chemistry between the actors (not just the leads). And the environment, surroundings around them are also not being established in the frame. Sometimes a long shot or a top angle shot with crackling dialogues works so much better than a close-up of a single actor's face.

Suggestions: Please correct this BD issue at the earliest..This show is a niche one, watched by a niche audience with a different sensibility. When its a love story, the romance between the leads is the only thing people tune in to watch and here the main premise is the love story. All the other tracks running parallel ultimately converge into this basic premise...and hence its importance cannot be stressed enough! KTLK has Ashu and Nidhi's romance woven into every track , and the leads need to be convincing as two people in love.

Whenever there is a scene between Ashu and Nidhi in the story track, please, please schedule your leads dates in such a manner that at least one scene can be shot with them together in the same frame. The V-day episode was so mind-blowing that people are still reeeling under the impact of watching AshNi together. More AshNi together in the same frame, more viewership!!

Also the excessive use of close-ups needs to be reduced. I'm sure the cameramen and editors are experienced enough to take multiple shots in various angles; but for this again all the actors need to be present together..so we go back to the same issue..scheduling.

The way this can be managed is best left to the PH who are well-versed and experienced in handling dates of multiple actors.

Issue # 2 : Mature Love story ??

This is supposed to be a "mature" love story for "mature" audiences. Agreed, its not possible for every episode to be scintillating, but the people who love this show do so because of its premise...the love story between a 42 year old man and a 24 year old girl. So its very important that character consistency be maintained.

Also its strange to the point of psychosis how Ashu Nidhi never get physically close and by physically close we don't even mean a hug... Like in the episode where Nidhi is crying and Ashu offers her his handkerchief, it would have been so natural and so heart-warming to have had him gently squeeze her hand with reassurance. I understand that the romance is very subtle here, but my sensibility rebels from this complete "No Touch" approach that AshNi share. A hand hold, a shoulder squeeze, a tear being wiped away...these are some things we share with people close to us, people we love! If AshNi are in love this is the least they could do.

Suggestions: Its not a crime to show touching as part of romance. Everyone understands that this is a family show, but lets remember that a simple gesture is way more effective than a "I love you" said a hundred times, It would certainly go a long way in involving the viewers in this love story (I've had people who're watching this show for the first time ask me if these two are really "in love". It doesn't seem that way.) Their relationship is way too platonic, way too awkward.. the comfort quotient has to come through not only it their emotional bonding but also to some extent their physical one. The audience needs to "feel" the love, and empathize with the lovers. This is not happening right now.

Issue # 3 Track progression

The most logical progression for the story here forward would be for Ashu to get Nidhi back to Kotnis. He fired her because he wanted to discourage their love from blooming ..but now after having accepted the relationship and his love for her, why is she not being made to return? Why wouldn't a young girl and that too a doctor at that, after struggling, working hard, and acing her meds (14^th rank) want to willingly sit at home and do nothing? Nidhi's nana is shown to have thrown her mother out of the house citing the same reasons i.e frivolity towards studies and wasting a med seat that people would kill for..and here Nidhi doesn't care, nor does her baba, nor does Ashu (who was such a conscientious doc, a stickler for discipline)... This rakes at the viewers' sensibility.

Suggestions: Our humble request..please bring Nidhi back to KGH...this is the most logical track for story progression in the right way and it will also bolster the existing tracks vis-a-vis Mallika's scheming, Nidhi's growing trust for Ashu, Ashu's pondering over their differences, and if Nidhi-Rohan track is getting weightage thanks to dadibua, even this would be interesting to watch if Nidhi were back in KGH..their pangs, the separation, the doubts, Ashu feeling that Rohan may be better suited to Nidhi..all this whilst she was in KGH and then his angst at seeing them together...everything..

Also..they needn't cook up excuses to meet everyday ... they will be meeting at the hospital.

I know this show has deviated from the original DK... and the professional bit i.e them as doctors has been conspicuously underplayed right from the time of Nidhi's dismissal. This would give the CVs a chance to redeem that too... Ashu-Nidhi's professional relationship can be grown and allowed to thrive.. So many possibilities exist here!

Issue # 4: Abrupt and incomplete tracks

Everyone from Ashu, Nidhi, Rohan, Anji, have been shown to be inconsistent and the story progression goes to one track, halts abruptly there without issues being sorted out and jumps to another.

The house, baba's illness, Mansukhani's double crossing, Bagchi's involvement, Mallika's duplicity, Aditya's pressure tactics.. and many more.

Suggestions: Please continue one track till it concludes or at least is left at a standstill knowing that an attempt has been made to tackle it. Eg. Baba..after his illness and recovery is not at all worried about financial issues. He never discusses Nidhi finding a job and instead is more concerned about her marriage. This sort of thing defies logic. We would love to see the storyline progressing more gradually with emphasis on each track and its follow through executed well. The Mandira epi could have waited till other more important matters were resolved or at least brought to the fore and discussed. Let not TRP be the only motivation for the CVs when they write an episode. TRPs will follow once the show has its heart in the right place...

Other suggestions as regards tracks and characters

These are just some suggestions that come to my mind while I watch KTLK and my opinion from the perspective of what I'd like to see as a viewer. I do not profess to understand the TRP business in all it's depth and neither do I claim to have better understanding of how a story in a TV show should be woven, but nevertheless as a fan, an unbiased audience and a well wisher of the show and it's incredible cast, here are a few changes/ suggestions for characters to behave and also tracks.

1. The age-gap issue can be better written..Ashu needs to be shown to be more mature offsetting and balancing Nidhi's childishness.Their differences arising out of age can be shown more maturely instead of highlighting differences in taste in food and music that could happen between people of the same age.

2. Nidhi is still calling Ashu "Sir" despite the fact that she no longer works at KGH and he's no longer her boss! She's in love with him...so how can she address him so? Agreed he's much older, but could she not call him Ashutoshji or Ashuji or something?

3. Its hard to digest the fact that Ashu repeats everything like a parrot to Mallika knowing fully well that she hates Nidhi and loves him! He is suddenly indulgent with her and suddenly short... its completely inconsistent!

When Mallika confessed that she hates Nidhi in an earlier episode, his reaction was to laugh it off and in the recent episode when she laughs at him for booking a Valentine day bash, he loses his temper badly at her!

Please let Ashu's reactions and attitude towards Mallika be consistent and believable. Its hard to believe his swinging like a pendulum...He has never been a one to listen to Mallika or follow her advice..in the earlier episodes he was shown to overrule her and take Nidhi's side. I know he feels guilty at what Mallika did because of his unrequited love, but now she has recovered and outwardly shows her support to his love for Nidhi as well, so why the walking on glass around her?

4. Ashu- Nidhi need to be more transparent with each other, they need to open out more, trust each other more. Their relationship has evolved beautifully and now it should reach the stage where Ashu finds it natural to confide in Nidhi and not Mallika or Armaan and Nidhi to Ashu and not Rohan or Anji. This would place their relationship on a surer footing and also convince the audience of their deep love for one another.

5. Ashu needs to apologise to Nidhi for her unwarranted and harsh dismissal and explain to her his reasons for doing so..and also why he wants her back now. He should also apologise to baba for it. His last encounter with baba was one in which he was being accused of his unfair treatment of Nidhi and he had no answer! Now baba hasn't even brought it up!

6. The leads have to be consistent in the way they behave. Ashu is alternately shy, clueless, withdrawn, angry, obsessive and suddenly suave, caring, and knows just what to do!

Nidhi is shown to be mature when her baba's illness strikes...way beyond her years, but once that is resolved she's back to her childish self...needing Rohan for every little decision in her life. And then again sometimes not..like in the V-day episode. So its very bewildering for the viewers. For us, Ashu and Nidhi are almost like real people..we "KNOW" them like we would know a close friend, or someone we've interacted with daily. And its extremely disappointing and unacceptable when they behave so so inconsistently! The other characters do not matter as much...but at least lets have AshNi stick to the characters they were when the show was first devised and launched!

The earlier 50 epis had it all..and they were the main reason why so many of us got irrevocably hooked to this show... the cracking dialogues and chemistry, fewer BDs, consistent characterizations and tracks and more AshNi scenes together! The PH has struck GOLD by having such a delectable cast..they are the unique USP of this show, that makes it stand out from among all the others..so please capitalize on this by using them together and you will see how magically the TRPs rise!!

Please bring back that magic once more..and it'll be a win-win situation for everyone...viewers and the PH!!

KTLK is the only show i got attached and hooked to...view of it's first promo attracted me a lot and i started waiting for the day of its first premiere...second and third promo acted as a trigger to my already curious mind...the "saiyaan" video made me fall in love with the lead pair...i am sure of one thing that time has started running in a different mode after i have started viewing the show...Thanx to KTLK ...I also got introduced to a classic show DHOOP KINAREY...which has become my all tym favourite(i'll must say the promos were very eye and heart captivating it's picture still persists clearly in my inner eye)...

Although it's very funny..but it's true that i treat KTLK as my kid...i point out the shortcomings of the show and i express my frustration for the show but when the same is done by other ppl APART FROM KTLK forums...i feel upset..therefore like an ardent and "loyal" viewer i point out the shortcomings for the betterment of the show

First two weeks OF KTLK were excellent... As a Viewer I saw best scenes of KTLK...But TRP was not very high...And CVs came up with 'Viewer Friendly' Scenes...They tried to woo Audience with Every types of scenes and the result was 'Khichdi' ...Cvs were in a desperate hurry to please Trp Baba...A good story line,Logical tracks and consistency amongst Characters is only going to give High Trp...The Key ingredient in the making of good episodes is patience...Confidence in your own storyline...Every Track of KTLK was rushed...This was the First problem of KTLK...as i viewed

Lack of Patience-AshNi Love story was Rushed..They fell in love after few meetings...Why and How????...The process could have been gradual and most Beautiful part of kTLK..How a man deprived of happiness and love Fall irrevocably and irresistibly in love with a gal half of his age???...

All tracks are Hushy mushy..Left halfway hanging...Cvs are trying their hands in every way,love,separation,..just for the heck of Trp..And getting nothing in return...

Solution-KTLK Has DK to look forward to...Cvs Why you left DK in between..There were so many scenes to be shown...like Bomb Blast scene,Medical Camp scene...I repeat once again...Grippy,consistent logical script will Catch Viewers Attention..It may take Time to attract new viewers ant to get old 'upset' viewers back...But please stop expermenting...Get back to old saying that Best quality Is the Saleable product...Once the Script and storyline Comes back to Track...slowly and steadily Trp will rise...Its bound to rise...

ILLOGICAL Scripts and Tracks-The show is suffering from some illogical sequences which unfortunately forms the crux of the story...for example

1.Nidhi's dismissal from hospital--no hospital directly dismisses for indisciplinary actions...it has to give u a warning.

2.Nidhi did not take any receipt while giving her house papers to aditya.

3.Inspite of knowing that aditya was mallika's brother she did'nt questioned anything about aditya to mallika...

4.During baba's heart attack..arman rohan did'n t talked to each other neither did armaan and nidhi...

seems illogical to me.

Solution-This Happens when There is Last moment Changes done in Script level...Work of Haste will have no logic...It's no point saying that what has happened has happened the team must now look forward to fill the loopholes and recheck the logic and think the orientation of the sequences while writing carefully.!Cvs Follow up of Important Scenes are Not upto the Mark..For example Recent Mallu-Nidhi face off at Dinner...

INCONSISTENT CHARACTERS-Let Us take the characterization of Leads...It has dramatically changed since KTLK started...

Dr Ashutosh-

1.He seldom came across as Dr Hard Stone...

2.He was firm,gentle,sad,brooding,introvert...Independent Man...Carrying A painful past...Difficult to open up..who disliked good quality of life..

3.Suddenly..in only few meetings with Nidhi..His character took 360 degree turn..He opened up to Nidhi,Started smiling..He stood for Nidhi Against Mallika...He was falling in love..then..He looked HERO..A serious man lyk Dr.ashutosh will never lose his seriousness so easily for a girl and so rapidly...is something difficult to digest...

4.After the Confession of love..Table has Turned...He is Irritating...He Listens to Mallika...Parrots everything About Nidhi to Mallika..Knowing She Hates Nidhi...Suddenly He scolds Mallika...And Next moment He forgets That Mallika has bad intention for Nidhi...

Where is consistency CVs???

Nidhi-

1.She was Bubbly,Chirpy,Happy Go lucky,Sunshine Secure ..A lil Immature But independent And Lovable...a good daughter..

2.When she fell in love..She was OTT...On the borderline of annoying Viewer...

3.During Baba's Heart Attack-We Saw Mature Responsible Brave Daughter...Who supported her Baba selling her love's Dream house...

4.Off late Nidhi has Again lost Focus..She is busy..Eating noodles...Buying Absurd gifts for her Beau...like Hair Dyes...Aimless and jobless...

Solution-I Think...Characters are made to react as and way Tracks are changed...Without contemplating the Growth and depth of their Characterisation...A good consistency in characterisation is the Back bone of storyline...KTLK is based on these two characters ...If these characters goof ups..Show is surely going to suffer...Characterisation should be consistent..No doubt on that...CVs...AshNi's character should not CHANGE as tracks demand rather Character should EVOLVE as the case may be...

Pathetic Depiction of profession-KTLK Had worst scenario in depicting youth as shallow,aimless non ambitious persons...

1.Nidhi is a Doctor...Her work-Yapping with Rohan...Visiting her Saiyaan..Drinking and Eating coffee,noodles with Rohan..

2.Rohan-IIM graduate Really...We have never Seen him going on work..Except He landed in Mumbai suddenly to take Nidhi..He said He went their for WORK..

3.Armaan-Fashion house owner..He is Seen sitting idly..Advicing his 'Meri Jaan' on his Love Problem...

Out of Context-Why Rohan and Armaan are Living in Nidhi and Ashu house respectively for so long without any motive???..NP and KW are good actors let them do something else than just giving Advices to AshNi...They can have separate tracks...Would love to see Past life of Armaan..NP should be utilized properly in KTLK...

Solution-Cvs Youth of india is a go getter..Ambitious..Career oriented...Nidhi-Rohan Sitting at home is Pain in the eyes of Viewer...To get a seat in medical or IIM A student looses his/her sleep...studies so Hard and What are we seeing in KTLK they are eating noodles and wasting their degrees like that...Cvs send Nidhi Back to Kotnis.Let her...

1.Excel as a doc...

2.Do correct Diagnosis and win over Mallikas incapability as doc(scene from DK)

3.And Dr Ashu have medical discussions..Attend Seminars and Medical Camps...

4.We want to see Hosp Romance and Bomb Blast scene from DK...

nidhi Making Heart with Stetho as in Saiyaan Video...

Excess use of BDs-This has been the Bigggessttt Irritating,Annoying,displeasing,disturbing,riling,worrying Problem of KTLK...Usage of BDs with other Cast is Ok...But in KTLK BDs are used excessively between Leads even in Romantic Scenes..Which Takes away the Charm and Excitement of Watching the scene...

This makes me to point out one Technical fault of KTLK team and that is Badd Editing...

We have seen...

1.'Muchchad' BD...

2.Lean and Thin NIDHIBD with jungly hairs/Another one A Plumpy NidhiBD...NO consistency in BDs also...

3.Mirror Images of Artistes...in scene...

Solution-CVs/PH I request you to Address and Take notice to this Problem immediately...There may be various Reasons for this problem..As a Viewer I want KTLK to excel and this issue is becoming a serious pain in the neck...During 45 min Episode..We took it as pinch of salt But now even in 30 min Why is there excess use of BDs between Leads???...PH Sort out the Problem as soon as possible...Otherwise Show is already suffering from lowest Trp ever now...You can see the impact of AshNI single frame V day episode..Forum was buzzing on that day and even now we are not out of that trance...You can well imagine...What Viewers want...

scenes With Leads depict Reality and Genuineness which takes the scenes to a more higher standard..Which is badly Needed by KTLK to survive against its Rival Shows on other Channels...(which are HIgher on Trp chart)

Mallika's Dominance/Excess Negativity/Communication Gap/Repeatetive scenes and Dialogues-These are some other Major Problems in KTLK...

1.Mallika is shown as supreme...She gets away with every Situation...When she talks All characters in KTLK become Dumbs...Ashu is always at her service...Listening and acting as her wish...Even Nidhi Listened to Her And Gifted Hair Dye to Ashu...Recently Ashu Scolded Her ...

2.Communication gap-AshNi Still Have Communication Gap...They are Dependent on Rohan,Armaan for Love Advices How Longg will they continue doing itt???

3.Mallu's 12 saal Jaap,Suhasini's Mard Jaap,Chai ki kitli Scenes,Dargaah Scenes...Keeps on Being Repeated in KTLK...

Solution-High time Mallika's Truth should be Out Now...Like DK..She should be Married And Move On...

AshNi Should Have Heart to Heart Talk...Their Misunderstanding should be Cleared...and They should Explore each other,This will make their love grow more deeper and their gentle flowering of love may be made very interesting for the viewers(obviously the TRP will rise sky high)...

Viewers loves surpurises...In scenes and Dialogues...Like the 16.02.12 V Day episode did to us...We want more such novel scenes in KTLK..We are done with Old and Repeatetive scenes and Dialogues...

Many Tracks in KTLK are left incomplete..Like the House Track...Where is Baghchi and Mansukhani???...There are Many Questions which are unanswered...Nidhi Never Asked Ashu about Her Dismissal Why???...Why and How Ashu Fell in Love with Nidhi??..As a viewer I would Love to see...this..May be he can Introspect ...

Tracks Should have logical Ending..Many parallels Tracks Are running simultaneously which makes Viewer very confused....

I will Stick to kTLK till end and I know it has potential...It started off very well but it Lost its track In the Midway...As A loyal Viewer I am Trying To show KTLK the Right Path..Hope Cvs and PH takes Notice of it..And Do the needful..Even if 40% of our suggestion is followed i Am sure KTLK will have no looking Back...I am writing what each viewer sees but can't express

I repeat once more...Logical,consistent scripting and getting away with excess BDs are immediate concern for KTLK...i hope for the gradual momentum gain in the show reaching...and i think sky is the limit!!

First thanks to Tanu for opening this thread...shows how much she loves this show.

For me this forum has been a Godsend as i live outside India and have no one to discuss my favourite show with here.

I first came to know about this show thru the newspaper article and the first thing that caught my eye was that it was an adaptation of DK...that was enough to make up my mind to watch this show albeit on Youtube as we don't get SONY here. This was also my first show in 5 years as i had made an conscious effort not to watch any soaps as i used to get emotionally involved and then it used to really take a lot of me to give it up once the show went down in quality.

The initial episodes were good...and though it was not totally lifted from DK i was happy as i knew this show had to run much beyond the 52 episodes or so of DK. Got hooked on MB and KK ( a little later as i had no idea abt her at all) and first i joined MBs FB page and used to silently follow it.

Then in December was searching for any news abt KTLK and stumbled upon IF and a whole new avenue opened up for me...here too initially took time to get used to the forum and how it worked and then around the same time i watched the 3 promos Sony had telecast and also the song video which i was crazy about...( the song was one of the reasons i was looking for some news abt KTLK)

The first shock i got in the show was when Nidhi herself decide not to continue after the shock of almost losing a patient due to her negligence...this was so much different from DK...then sense prevailed and after some drama she joined back...so was happy and this made me think ok...let me keep DK aside and watch KTLK on it's own merit.

So when she joined back i was expecting all the beautiful scenes from the promos to unfold and the process of falling in love gradually first by Nidhi and then by Ashu.

All thru this i think the TRP was pretty steady...this show did not set the screen in fire but it had it's loyal niche audience.

Don't know why the PH got jittery abt the TRP and this i feel was the main reason for the slide the show went into.

Then came the biggest shock -- when she was fired for the most inane reason.

This was done for garnering sheer TRP as CVs thought separation track and the usual rona dhona will raise it...and wonder of wonders it DID NOT.

This mistake is something the CVs have not yet been able to rectify...though in the recent episodes they have had opportunity to do so...still no push has been given as they have many open tracks hanging.

Consequence of this single act of firing Nidhi has been the downfall for this show as the CVs scrambled abt trying to repair and somehow mend this show. Below r the points i feel where the CVs blundered badly.

1. Falling in love of both was at superfast speed ...i think within a few weeks of the show...once this happened the CVs did not know how to proceed with it

- they could have shown both of them fighting against falling in love...more so with Ashu as he is a mature , well known doctor and it would have been against his work ethics to fall in love with his junior.

2. Okay falling in love over...so what to do ...let's separate them...add drama, get TRP.

- Once the superfast falling in love was shown...they could have showed Ashu handling it much differently rather than take the extreme decision of firing Nidhi. It has been written by our FF writers here on IF esp by Mish that remaining in the hospital environment Ashu could have avoided her , been curt with her and basically discouraged her infatuation ( yes i say infatuation becoz initially that's what i feel it was on Nidhi's part )

3. Once the TRP did not go up despite all the drama created ...they brought in the love gurus to unite the lovers.

-- Not a bad idea at first ...but this too went awry as the love gurus became a emotional crutch for both Ashu and Nidhi and instead of fading away quietly into the background after succeeding in uniting the lovers ( Dargah scene)

the 2 lovers turned totally incapable of thinking for themselves and depended on the Love gurus for every little thing.

-This totally destroyed the characterisation of both the leads from intelligent , thinking individuals to brainless ,clueless people.

This hurt the story line --- the second biggest reason after the firing.

4 Mallika - This character which started off as a good friend to Ashu has turned into a psycho after she realises and makes Ashu also realise that he is in love with Nidhi.

-Too much negativity is another culprit of this shows downfall...this show was never meant for the masses ...and the niche audience totally rejected this excessive negativity which was portrayed by Mallika.

5. House track - brought too soon after the confession ...this track was a big big issue and should have brought in gradually after the strengthening of AshNi relation.

-They completely made a hotch potch of this...Ashu's character was totally destroyed over this and Rohan who was just the love guru became the hero in providing support to Nidhi in the time of crisis when it should have been Ashu who should have stood by her and in turn got in to the good books of her Baba...right now even though Baba is courteous with Ashu he is not seeing Ashu as a person who can be a important part of the family(which would have stood in good stead when the love between AshNi breaks )

So as of now the house issue is kept dangling.😕

6. BD - The less said about the BDs spoiling the feel of the show the better...this issue has been dissected all thru and the unanimous opinion of all is that BDs for AshNi have to be completely stopped if the chemistry between the leads has to be maintained.

-- The PH has to sit and seriously co-ordinate the dates of the leads...this is a romance, pls do not spoil the main theme by making the leads romance the BDs...spoils the whole mood and viewers r not fools.

SUGGESTIONS -

- Bring back Nidhi to KGH ASAP...now that the CVs have redeemed Ashu's character to some extent thru last week ...see that this momentum is kept going and the only way their love will grow stronger will be if they r in the same environment where they met and fell in love.

- This will counteract all the negativity of Mallika with Ashu standing strong with Nidhi to face the theme of the show - that " kuch toh log kahenge "

- Go slow pls...don't rush to expose AshNi love in front of Baba so soon despite NiHaan track...in fact use NiHaan marriage track to get nidhi back in KGH.

- Love gurus need to step back in a major way...be there as a support if needed...let the leads take their own decisions

- Increase the role of Ranganath pls...he can be a major ally to AshNi love in the hospital.

- Pls try and redeem Mallika 's character...for God sakes she is a respected surgeon not a full time Vamp from the saas-bahu sagas to have time to full time plot the downfall of AshNi.

- Use Mandira track positively now that u have introduced it...do not waste a good actress by giving her shades of grey...let her be a positive influence on AshNi ...more so to Nidhi as she can show Nidhi the pitfalls of falling for a older guy and helping her to deal with it.

- Pls CVs ...begging u ...do not tamper with Ashu's character any more...u have shown him going back to the sauve , sensible Ashu we all fell in love with. MB is a fantastic actor who has portrayed even the stupid scenes given to him with great style ...agreed sometimes his dis-satisfaction with the character has prevented him giving his best , but that's becoz he is not convinced abt the way it has been portrayed.

- Pls show all the educated people on the show that they need to get back to their jobs...not only the ones who r wasting their education like Rohan and Nidhi but...this includes Ashu who has to get back into the hospital , operate , see patients ( not only their files) In this day and age where people give so much importance to career and work this lack of work ethics is very very hard to swallow.

- The cast is the best thing in KTLK ...give them SENSIBLE, CONSISTENT story to work with.

I think i have rambled on and on for quite long now...for there was so much going on in my mind ...it just came tumbling out.

This show still can be a path breaker if it wants to...more so if the CVs and PH want to and the channel supports them ( not put pressure on them for TRPs)

I am in this for the better or the worse till the end !!! Hope it is for the better 😊

Well according to me the concept chosen for this show is very interesting and there is a lot of scope in this storyline.

My main suggestions to KTLK team would be:

1) Every story will have a basis on which it will be elaborated and taken forward. KTLK being a love story between 2 doctors this show has to be based in a hospital.There must be a lot of scenes shot in the hospital.

2) Being an urban show the leads should be shown doing some constructive works & not Idling around.Agreed the story had to go in a direction where Nidhi looses her job & Ashu is guilty of that but now when theie MUS are cleared its time they show Ashni's professional side which can be highly interesting.

3) Lets have scenes where Ashni handle complex surgeries, Nidhi learns under Ashutosh, both are saving precious lives & therby their understanding levels increase.

4) Let there be some consistency in the characters. For ex: We had so many scenes of Mallika and Ashu & now suddenly Mallika is nowhere in picture,similarly with Ranji.The storyline of KTLK should develop from all angles - Ashni,ranji,mallika,rohan, Armaan...

5) Eliminate characters which are not required for the show or reduce their scenes.

6) Expand Anji & Ranga lovestory & show more of Armaan and his life also maybe once a week.

7) Focus should remain on Ashni

8) Let each scene end properly & let there not be an abrupt end to key scenes.

9) Would love to see physical proximity of Ashni. It can be just a hand holding or a casual hug.Pls shoot them closeby & not feets apart.

10) There has been many marvellous suggestions from IF memebers whose interest lies in only & only betterment of KTLK as a show & its increase in TRP.Kindly look into them & pls incorporate them.

Dear Sirs,

We are so happy that we have been given this opportunity to convey our thoughts and ideas about our favourite show KTLK with all of u.

The following is my very personal opinion about the show till date...

Let me list a few things that drew me to this show initially...

1. The show's Concept

The first thing that attracted me to the show was its concept. I am one of those few viewers who run far away from the typical saas-bahu sagas and who wants to watch a show with a difference. So when I heard that this was a show with a unique storyline I was attracted to it even before its launch. A Its medical background and the fact that it was based on two people with quite a large age difference falling in love was something so far not shown on Indian TV.

2. Mohnish Behl (MB) as the male lead.

I would like to be very honest and state here that it was the name MB that drew me to the show. Since seeing him in HSSH I had perceived him as a very good actor and one who could emote with his expressions, gestures, mannerisms...not to mention his very expressive eyes.

3. The show was to be based on Dhoop Kinare.

Even before the show started there were many write-ups about this very popular Pakistani show which unfortunately I had never watched. But the write-ups intrigued me so much that I decided to watch that show...The fact that I watched the entire show in less than a week's time is enough to show that I loved the show...Its execution, the performance of every actor, the story, the screenplay were all superb...No doubt it has been branded a super-duper show of the late 80s.

4. The Production House and the screenplay writer.

I had heard that Rajan Shahi is an acclaimed producer and Kamlesh Pandeyji has written dialogues for some very good movies. So this was one other thing that made me look forward to the show.

The above are what made me decide that come what may this show was a must-watch and despite the 8pm slot I made time to watch it as it went on air.

Now I would like to say how I found this much-awaited show after it started...Its good ppoints and its not so good points...and what could have been shown and was not shown.

The show was conceptualized as a love story depicting the process of the falling in love of two doctors with a big age gap. The show started well with the hospital and the interns and their interaction with the senior doctors. Nidhi's entry was also well depicted...A complete contrast from Dr Ashutosh...A young carefree girl, who though she ranked 14^th in medicine was not interested in this career and who thought that it had been forced on her by her father..

The initial meeting between these two diametrically opposite personalities was perfectly well shown ands executed...Nidhi's carefree attitude, her negligent attitude towards her profession, Nidhi leaving the hospital and profession voluntarily...and after realizing that she has fallen for the silent handsome doctor she decides to come back to the hospital of her own will...

But then came the inconsistencies...

Inconsistency # 1

The ruthless way Dr Ashutosh dismissed Nidhi and terminated her internship was a bit too much to take in. it left quite a bitter taste in the mouth of the viewers and spoilt Ashutosh's character also in the eyes of the viewers...Although an attempt to salvage it was made later on with Ashu telling his friend Armaan that he did it all for Nidhi's sake as he realized she was getting attracted to him...etc, etc...

Inconsistency # 2

The falling in love process was too quick and literally fast-forwarded. We had all expected a slow process which would start with Ashu-Nidhi first working together, having differences of opinion owing to their age gap, then slowly getting attracted to each other...Nidhi respecting him for his dedication and intelligence, and realizing that although he is hard from outside he has a soft heart...Ashu feeling attracted to her and fighting this attraction first and then beginning to think of her and miss her...etc etc...If I were to go into details of how this could have happened, I would be writing an entire screenplay for the show...

Inconsistency # 3

Mallika's negativity...This was the most repulsive thing in the show and was very difficult to stomach...She had been shown as a true and good friend of Dr A...But with the entry of her sister in law her character took a complete u-turn and she was turned into the typical run-of-the-mill villain of Indian TV...But the worst thing shown was when she attempted suicide and not only was this covered up but she was even allowed to come back to the hospital. How can such a mentally unstable person be allowed to treat patients and that too in a children's ward? This was the height of absurdity shown.

Inconsistency # 4

Ashutosh's character...It started off very well by showing a 42 year old Dr. Ashutosh who was not only an orphan but who had been cheated by his adoptive father (or so he believed), and who had therefore lost faith in relationships and kept himself away from them. For him his life revolved around his home and hospital. Besides his Baba there were only two other people in his life, His Hiraman Kaka (manservant) and Dr Mallika his 12 year old friend. Then enters a young intern in his hospital and life and turns his life upside down by her childish antics...which initially anger and irritate him but which he begins to miss and love later on...But once he realized it and accepted that in front of his friend for 12 years Mallika, her reaction to it should have warned him that he should keep his love life and friendship away from each other...But what does he do? Like a little boy he goes and tells everything he does with and for Nidhi to Mallika who attempts time and time again to break them up. Even after she admits to him that she wanted to break them up does he not realize that she can not be trusted...His character has gone thru a roller-coaster ride in this show...from an introvert, to a shy and uncertain lover, to a loyal friend, to again an angry man who feels he is too old and Nidhi is too childish...and once again to a supportive lover who is ready to stand up for his love and face the world as well as the consequences of their relationship...Hope the same character remains in the coming episodes and he does not do a turn-around at Mallika's instigation...

The above was all about the show and its execution...Now for some additional points which can be made..

1. Some of the very important sequences which could have actually been the highlights of the show were mere dampeners to the viewers' expectations and enthusiasm...The first was the love confession episode...it left us all feeling that MB was not at all at his best in that sequence...in fact he looked totally uncomfortable in that sequence.

Next was the New Year's Eve sequence...A total flop from my point of view...For reasons unknown it led to the house misunderstanding and Mallika's evil plans were introduced, forcing her brother to demand that Nidhi repays the entire amount and that too within 4 days!!!!!!

In which bank can a manager do this?? And how come Mr. Solanki an eminent lawyer did not point this out??? A complaint about this to the head office and Aditya would have been out for gross misconduct...

Next was the Dargha sequence after the house misunderstanding was solved...That was a complete let down because it was shot entirely with BODY DOUBLES

2. Now comes the biggest grouse of us viewers...THE BODY DOUBLES...since the past 20-30 episodes there has been excessive use of body doubles in the show...Whatever the reasons it does not bode well for the show...I don't say we should get Ashni together all the time...but in a 20 minute episode (minus the ads) at least we can get to see them together for 5 minutes...I am sure its not a herculean task getting the lead pair to act together for that little span of time!

3. Finally there have been many lapses in the screenplay and editing arena also...Conversations have been ended abruptly, episodes have not started from where they have left off in the previous one, Nidhi's character has also seen many turn-arounds...At one time she shows great maturity and soon after that she reverts back to being utterly childish...Referring to the hairdye episode...But the worst was the glasses sequence...

How could an eminent doctor read reports, scan x-rays and also operate all the time without even squinting and then all of a sudden his eyes turn weak and he can't read a menu card? That was actually so absurd that it left me seething with anger at the writers...

Now I think that's enough of criticism and its time for some positive views also...

Positivity # 1

MB and KK...These two are superb actors. Mohnishji is a class unto himself when it comes to acting and expressions...His silent love, his hesitancy at expressing his feelings, his inner turmoil initially when he realized he was falling in love with a girl half his age, his concern for Nidhi's happiness, and also his concern for Mallika whom he still sees as a very good friend...Hats off to him for his acting and for the makers for selecting him as the lead...A very wise choice.

Kritika karma has also proved to be a good actress. Initially I was skeptical over her being chosen but she has proved me incorrect and is doing a splendid job with the screen play, script and dialogues given to her...

Both MB and KK are brilliant actors and considering that over the past so many weeks they have been shooting with only BODY DOUBLES, they have given commendable performances as far as their expressions go...

Positivity # 2

The dialogues have also been very good in most of the episodes, and barring the lapses in the screenplay already mentioned Kamleshji has done a good job of it.

At the end I would like to make a request to the makers to give us the following few things...

Nidhi should be made to rejoin Kotnis General Hospital.
Ashutosh should stop telling everything about himself and Nidhi to Mallika and should maintain a tough stand with her hereafter.
Mallika's evilness should be brought to the notice of Ashutosh and he should lose faith in her even as a friend.
Aditya should be thrown out of the bank for his unethical behaviour with the bank's customers/clients.
Aditya should give another hard slap (a back-handed one this time) to his wife for instigating his sister wrongly. And he should tick off his sister also for making him do wrong in his profession.
Minimise the use of body doubles. And at least in combined scenes not to give only close-up shots. At least when Ashni are in one frame we should get to see their mannerisms and full length shots instead of only close-ups.
Ashutosh should now accept that he and Nidhi can't live without each other and should now stop thinking twice about their relationship and take a firm stand in supporting Nidhi...against her family, against Mallika and the world at large also...He should now never again play the disappearing act...and should stand by Nidhi solid as a rock, come hell or high waters...
The hospital backdrop should be restarted.Both Ashu and Nidhi should be shown working together and get even more closer as co-doctors.
Some operations or medical camps should be shown...That would go a long way in building up viewers' interest.
Anji should be shown at Baba's office and Mansukhani should slowly get exposed.

The above are just a few suggestions...The creative team can think of many many more suitable tracks to make this show go to even 500 or more episodes. I know it has great potential to do so, if handled intelligently and logically.

One final word to all who read this...I love KTLK, MB and KK and come what may I pledge to watch this show till the very end...I may grumble, may even scream at times but what to do can't give up watching this show...Call me a die- hard fan of the show or a glutton for punishment but I can't keep away from it and keep coming back for more...

I apologise to all if I have tread on any toes or have hurt anyone's feelings.
