Before I say anything, TRP Baba has been, week after week, informing you that you are messing up an epic script, n messing it up BIG TIME...
A few points which I wish to point out to you :-
1)First of all, when u wanted to remake a 27 epi classic weekly into a modern day 250+ epi daily, u should have had the FLOW of the MAIN PLOT well in place, with sub-plots emerging as per TRP & audience feedbacks...
2) As this is romance b/w 2 doctors, with a hospital as the main backdrop, it is almost MANDATORY that you have at least one person in your creative team who has atleast some access to the field of MEDICINE...the medical goof ups have been most awful, to say the least...👎🏼
3) DK was made 25 years BACK...for PTV...with all due respect to PTV, we all realise the conservatism which must have been the call of the day then...
...why are you, in 2012, taking it a further 25 years BACKWARDS 😲 in your treatment of this what could have been a BEAUTIFUL story OTHERWISE ???????????????
4) The ESSENCE of DK was the romance b/w a reputed middle aged doctor and a vivacious young intern, WHO WAS (not initially, but later) DEDICATED to her work....
...WHAT, pray tell me, is wrong with the script, which as of today, seems to be totally CLUELESS as to what should happen tomorrow...
.this is so shameful, as it makes us cringe to see the powerhouse talents of Mohnish Bahl & Krittika Kaamra going to waste...
5) The utterly DISGRACEFUL way in which the younger generation has been portrayed by you in KTLK, ( unemployment, disco, pasta, noodles...yuckkk...the IIMs & The Medical world ought to sue you for this... ) speaks VOLUMES OF YOUR INABILITY & INCOMPETENCE to handle a sensitive theme as DK...👎🏼
Its been...what...like 80+ epis so far...
...high time for the PH to THINK OF A CHANGE IN THE TEAM OF writers...
...who are capable of retaining the essence of DK, while meting out MODERN treatment to a serenely beautiful story...
