Thank you Lizzie. That is kind of you but I have merely done an 'Anu Malik' here i.e. taken bits and pieces from couple of movies to cobble up a scenario. I can not do screenplay and dialogues like you.

Simple suggestion...
we have not got much of Ashutosh's romantic side yet .. other than his deep expressions on seeing his beautiful wifey and playing violin when the violin (aka his life) was handed to him by his wifey ( BG notes are from his childhood memories with his baba)

1. Ashu gives a rose to Nidhi this time. Nidhi as usual pouts and demands, a rose everyday! Now, Ashu- the-gardener works around his garden planting rose plants etc etc..sees Nidhi's face in each of those flowers...wid another SRK song in the BG (Mallika said once.. 'kabhi tumhe phool behad pasand tha'...Baba said once...'phool patton se bahut pyar hai' etc etc)

2. Instead of Nidhi+Rohan+Anji+Armaan + (Mallika???), this time Ashu-the-lover-boy plans for Valentine's day...(I have not gone on valentine's day any time b4. So experts shd help me here..)

3. Ashu-the-career-planner will support and help Nidhi to achieve higher degrees or experiences through various cases. he is patient enough to explain her all complicated cases. prepares tea for her for sitting through long hours into the night...( since this is the 1942- A love story, no harm done even if she visits every now and then ashu's house in the late night..always there is 5 feet distance in between...so no rerences are given here to Lizzie's FF).
can he send her to London?? So that whenever Mallika ma narrates a london story...even Nidhi can quote her own in reply??🤔

Lamhe was released some 25/30 years ago.. so they had the viewership something very different mental setup from the current generation.. may be we cannot compare with that. Even DK was around that time only. An elderly male loving a girl may not be very awkward according to their social norm. So KTLK may not strictly follow DK and I dont think even 'LAMHE'

i loved that gardening idea...can imagine ashu being romantic when he gives rose..and his shocked expression when nidhi demands a rose everyday😉

...wahan nidhi getting widowed ...body of rohan may or may not b shown...ashu and nidhi meeting "accidently"... (nidhi in Jab we met me post interval geet avatar)...ashu makin nidhi happy again with his "friendship"

rohan returning at the wrongest time...when ashu and nidhi r cumin close again...

may b this time 2 get revenge coz he has this mad idea that ashu tried to kill him...

rohan n mallu gettin 2gether 2 seperate ashu n nidhi ...who r 2gether now.

couple more marriage each for ashu n nidhi (for all sorts of crazy reasons)...n so on

as long as all these dont happen Iam fine😃
