I agree with most viewpoints here... 3 possibilities were discussed

1. Date issues: seems like a thoroughly incompetent PH! And they're not amateurs! Hard to beleive they cannot sort this out and fix it so the leads shoot at least one scene together

2. Problem between leads: Aah.. ok.. MB and KK are uncomfortable with each other.. for whatever reasons.. Okay.. but where's the professionalism? Esp MB after having worked for so many years in Bollywood needs to realise this is just a job for them.. The viewers may dissect, analyse, parse, imagine, drool about their chemistry.. but he needs to make that distinction bw reality and dreams in his mind!! I thought all actors do that...else how would we be seeing romance at all on screen?? Wake up, wake up.. even the 1930s had more romance and touching than this.. when such things were almost taboo!!

DK and Madhubala shot that erotic scene in MEA where he's caressing her with a feather when they were not even on speaking terms! And the whole world knew about their doomed affair and their differences! That's called true professionalism!

3. Financial issues with PH..and utilising MBs time effectively cos he's the highest paid: Well dunno what to say abt this.. don't know enough abt the TV industry to comment..

Loved what u wrote about DK and Madhubala. This is a reel world and any professional actor must put his/her differences aside if he/she is a true professional.

Mehek, no one knows for sure ..its all speculation, just one of possible reasons why we're seeing all these BDs and single frame issues..

And abt Dk/Madhubala.. that scene is the most exquisitely romantic one I've ever seen on screen.. and when my dad first told me that they ahd all these issues bw them I was like 😲... You can actually see all the emotions in their eyes.. love. want, hunger, passion, ... isko kehte hain acting!!

Lizzie I too heard about this recently on a TV show. And u are absolutely right the chemistry they oozed in that scene no one could believe that they had not simply issues but they were lovers who had just separated...its a scene that goes down in history as one of its kind...Loved the way u have quoted this...Hope KTLK Cvs and cast sort out all these issues...i love the show and cant bear seeing it being ruined...for any reason whatsoever...

Btw Lizzie i love ur reasoning in almost all ur posts...Thanx fro being so level headed in ur analysis love reading them dear
