Was watching some old episodes of KTLK a few days back and a few of the most recent ones also. The more one watches KK, the more you are wowed by her talent. She has emoted pretty much every facet of human emotion one could think of so effortlessly. IMHO, she is streets ahead of any actress not only on TV, but pretty much across the movie spectrum save maybe Vidya Balan who dares to experiment with her roles.
Years back in the late 80's, while watching FAUJI and CIRCUS on Doordarshan, was intrigued by this skinny gaunt guy with a funky hair. He just had that X factor about him that you cant quite place a finger on but you knew he was cut out for something bigger and the the telly was too small a medium for him. Felt he was going to go very far very soon. Of course, the world knows him today as SRK whose rise from telly to silver screen has been pretty much unparalleled till now.
After all those years and after seeing so many serials on TV and never really being impressed by anyone, getting that same premonition about KK. She is a powerhouse of talent that will not stay contained in the telly medium for long. An industry sagged down by the aging Khan quartet, frankly undeserving star kids who are atrocious actors/dancers bar Hrithik, and in desperate search for a fresh face to re-ignite the spark on the silver screen post Kajol's departure, could do itself a huge favor by looking at KK as the next big thing in movies.
