Before the start of today's episode speculation was rife among all forum members as to whether Nidhi would once again walk off and whether Ashu would express his feelings...When the episode started from where it had left off on Friday I too was tensed up thinking that once again our hopes would be shattered..But lo and behold we got the exact opposite...Ashu was the first one to say albeit a bit hesitantly that what Arman said was true and then Nidhi also accepted that what Rohan had said was true...After this admission our super sweet duo Arman-Rohan played the disappearing act and left Ashni to themselves thinking that they would say the 3 magical words and maybe exchange at least a hug...
Although I would have loved to see Ashni holding hands, hugging..and all the works...I knew very well we would not get it...Since this would have been totally contrary to Ashu's character...Loved the way they were debating over what to call each other...Ashu very sweetly said he could of course call her Nidhi but when it came to what she would call him I loved the way she settled for 'suniye', and Ashu adding the 'ji' at the end...It was cute...and a way to break the ice and relieve the awkwardness of the moment...Also had Nidhi addressed him as Dr or even Sir it could have made him feel more awkward as he would be reminded of their age difference...This showed Nidhi's understanding of the situation and of her balma also...
In fact in today's episode I felt the tables had been turned...The more mature Ashutosh was fiddling and fumbling like a teenage boy on his first date, and Nidhi had suddenly matured from a bubbly young girl into a mature adult...
The way they both knew what the other was thinking...example the tea stall, the ending to the Raja-Titli story, the need to say good night but the desire not to...all showed that where there is true and deep-rooted love there is absolutely no need for those 3 words...Although when Ashu in the end says I "love u Dr Nidhi..very much"...it showed how difficult he is finding to say these 3 words out loud and directly to her...
The thawing of their awkwardness was beautifully shown today...Nidhi's fianl sentence...'love changes people' was so simply spoken but it had a wealth of meaning, as after her realisation of falling for Ashu and that her love is reciprocated by Ashu has totally changed her...
I don't know about other viewers but I loved the episode today...although initially Ashu's hesitance hit me as being overdone but when I considered the points i have mentioned above I found it actually went well with his character...He is a quiet person, into himself most of the time...and to draw sucgh a person out of his shell would take anyone time..when alone he admitted his love out loud and in a very straightforward way...
Ashni were superb today...their sweet moments together were heart-warming and the smile I had on my face from the moment Ashu said what Arman said was true, did not leave my face till the last scene... As for Rohan...he was truly a real sweetheart today...If Ashni's unique way of romancing made me smile, Rohan's lighthearted banter made me laugh...particularly when he explained that the reason why he was so sweet was because his parents had diabetes...That made me laugh...Even Arman was good as always...
Just hope the creatives give us some more Ashni moments this whole week and the twists and turns start after a bit more of Ashni's unique romancing...
Pls CVs grant us this little wish...consider it a New Years gift for all Ashni fans...Don't mind some Mallu drama..like her exposure..or even Nidhi rejoining Kotnis Hospital but keep the serious twists which could separate Ashni even temporarily for some later date...
Thanx Cvs for the lovely episode today...Hoping we get some more gr8 episodes filled with Ashni moments all this week...
