Kuch toh Log Kahenge: Analysis and Symbolism
The Episode starts with Nidhi deeply thinking of Anjie's Words regarding how she has allowed herself to be caught up in the vortex of her emotions and is now placed in a situation where things are anything but complicated and there is no turning back, But enveloped in the new feeling of love that she is, all Nidhi can think about is Ashutosh and her moments spend with him. (Very Beautifully Incorporated Flashes especially that of the Rainy Night Seq here). A happily giggling Nidhi, is brought out of her trance when she sees Dr. Mallika.
Nidhi says she wants to Join the Hospital back, and does not even hesitate to tell that the reason is Dr. Ashutosh. A displeased Mallika tries her best to get Nidhi to think otherwise, but their conversation is short lived, when a Nurse breaks in the News of Dr. Ashutosh's Accident. Dr. Mallika the authoritative women she is, takes control of the situation, and wards of Nidhi at every stage leaving her totally distressed and in despair. Nidhi's worries and questions are finally answered thanks to the sweet and flirtatious Dr. Ranganath, who informs her of Ashutosh's Injury and his present state, that he is fine and resting at home, Nidhi thanks him profusely and rushes to her car but it fails to start (A must watch scene, the transitions on Kritika Kamra's Facewhich ranged from.. shock.. to fear' to concern.. to pain.. .to anxiety..to be relieved yet not completely at peace'.frustrated to being ''.impatient etc was flawlessly done). An anxious Anjie calls Nidhi, to ask about her day, but Nidhi asks her to come to the Hosp ASAP, so that they can go to Dr. Ashutosh's House.
Anjie arrives but announces that they will not be visiting Dr. Ashutosh, to leaves Nidhi anxious and irritated.The true friend that Anjie is warns her again, and advices that this is no Duty or responsibility that she feels towards Dr. Ashutosh and that she is in fact falling in love with Dr, Ashutosh. Nidhi denies and tells Anjie that this in not Love (Perfect amalgamation of shock and confusion portrayed by KK).
The episode takes you a step further in knowing of Nidhi's inner feelings and her turmoils, which actually sums up the entire Episode. Her Mind and Heart is at conflict, and Kritika Kamra does complete Justice in portraying it.
