Yeah I want this phone call to be special...memorable...yes I agree with that thinking...but if she's a doctor after all...and if the boy gets hurt trying to find HER, I think Dr A will accept her participation in this operation based on that...knowing she feels so much guilt & she's scared...plus...we know he just misses her like heck...that cabin is so empty...😳😆😉

Yeah Nur... creative liberties ke naam pe to kuch bhi...

Anyways, I am glad that the way Dr. Ashu had sounded Nidhi with some serious practical aspects of this prefession, that becoming so emotionally involved with your patients can be a big cost to pay to be in this profession... and it might have been one of the many reasons for Nidhi to stay away from this profession.. but, like you rightly said that she is aimlessly drifting away, with no goal / aim in sight.. wonder when and how she comes to the realisation and acceptance her calling as a good doctor (as proclaimed by one and sundry at the hospital)...

I think so that Dr. A finds some resemblance of himself in Nidhi with the way she connects to children and treats them with maturity and affection, along with respect. Given Dr. A's background, the way Nidhi sounded so much in awe of Shehenshah the first time she spoke about this kid to Dr. A, emphasising the fact that the boy was an orphan, but had tonnes on enthusiasm and dreams for his future.. .. it must have resounded with him ... with his image of Baba, and how he could see the dreams and aspirations of an orphan like him and made his dreams come true...

Hey Anu,nice analysis again.
I agree with you that Nidhi's thinking of not going back to the hospital was practical as she does'nt want to give the children false hopes...reasonable way of thinking but I also found her a little cold too.I mean what harm would it have caused just to go to the hospital and at least try and talk to the kids then maybe they would have eaten a little something for that day itself.Anyway that's just me being a bit senti...😆

Rangnath,Anjie and her father scene was quite funny actually even thogh it was a bit ott

Also liked DR Ashutosh's hesitance in calling Nidhi as that was shown very subtle way as he doesn't want to show more interest than required..that is in peoples eyes.

I don't know what else to say as there was not much happening in the episosode so not much to write home about but all in all a decent episode to watch.

LOL I love the way you're rolling your eyes about her proclaimed great doctory skills😆...apparently she's so special that everyone saw it at first sight...we have to accept it as storyline😆...but jokes apart, they didn't show it in a very OTT manner also so I don't mind.

Yes, Ashu most definitely connects with Nidhi on that...the way she treats children...that will form the major basis of their bond as time goes by I guess...she really connected with him in that moment when she spoke of Shehenshah and how he is so positive about his dreams despite being an orphan...the respect that she gives the children like you said...like even today she told RN that they shouldn't think of Shehenshah like a helpless kid...he is sharp and knows how to get his way...this understanding of child psychology is what Ashu has seen in her and feels is her potential too...she herself doesn't see it yet though.

I sort of got lazy on posting on the last 2 threads - so decided to do today's before I got lazy again 😆

I'm kinda half minds over the episode, overall - or for this track to be precise. To a huge extent I found very little credibility to be emotionally swayed into the 'unreason-ability' of the matter ... although there were some standouts for the good too.

I'm thumbs up on Ashutosh having not called Nidhi himself yet - the interesting subtlety that he is holding back without explicitly wondering why! Add to that the way he brushed off, or did not linger on the intern's suggestion to call Nidhi himself - definitely well done there. And no, not because this is an ego tussle he must win, because the fact that he's holding back on calling her when her need seems 'so professionally dire' is both very personal and professional at once. It is a consequence of more personal than professional - but technically, it is just as well professional, following his statement to Mallika that the problem was now the hospital's matter, and theirs alone - Nidhi no longer a part of it.

What I also liked, very much - might in fact be the best thing about the episode for me - was Nidhi's reasoning to why she should not cave in to this momentary emotional blackmail - yes, it wasn't implied like that by Ranga, but categorically, that's the tactic used. She has opted out of the profession, made up her mind, and she isn't and cannot be, in that case, a real solution to their problem. Brownie points for her analysis of Shehanshah not being a gullible kid, but one who would understand the trick being used, and not be fooled!

And now my long list of rants over the episode.

The conference meeting - for the most - dislike. Now I'm no medical authority here, but honestly, if a child/children refuse food or medication, is there no system for back up? They may refuse food, but they will cave in to sleep sooner or later? Sooner in fact, from the exhaustion of it - and if nutrition is the prime concern, the hospital can always resort to temporary drips or glucose, inject them with sedatives if need be, when they're exhausted and droopy - point being, these are kids. They couldn't really sustain a long term anshann dharna, get real! They're just provoked at this point and pumped up for a stubborn act, and it should take only days to go - at the max. All minus Shehanshah anyway. So honestly, the whole problem seems overplayed to me. And again, Mallika, and the nurses made absolute sense. I understand Ashutosh's personal bias for the kids, or not being forceful or imposing - but hello, wasn't he the one telling Nidhi the other day, that a doctor treats a patient as per the medical need, and not as per the whims of the patient - when she said the kid refused to take his meds? A STARK contradiction to his own logic - and one that had very little emotional credibility too, if you ask me.

Moving on to the Ashutosh-Shehanshah convo ... honestly, I was duly impressed by Ashu's sensibility in calling the child to his cabin alone. Just like Nidhi's analysis of this boy, Ashu understands one can talk sense with this boy, beyond his age, and expect him to grasp it. The little dialog over hunger was also well done. But there could have been so much more conviction to Ashutosh's case here. When Shehanshah tells him hunger may not be 'bachon ka khel' but that he knows his way with it - Ashutosh should have shot back and told him, that other kids may not! All those so many others he, Shehanshah had used in his ploy were not him, and he could well be putting them into grave danger like this! The boy has a strange sensitivity, and even though I doubt he'd relent for his own self, he'd probably drop the whole mass rebellion. And that would resolve a part of the problem - unlike the futility which comes out of this incomplete dialog, one well done in bits, but left half baked.

For the Ranga-Nidhi scene - while I really really liked Nidhi's side of the script, Ranag's script in part was just random to me. Like you pointed out in some comment Nur, his statement of how he doesn't want to be taken seriously, was good. And defining of the undertones of his character. But the whole 'I saw you as an intern and just knew you were different' - was SO blah. Not because I can't beleiev he could see a difference in her - but because he just put that statement out without his premise. I had much preferred when the head matron had told her, she had not believed Nidhi would be the one to quit. From Ranga here - this statement was again, half baked. I wish he'd said something in support of his claim. Unlike with Ashutosh, and we haven't seen any exceptional Ranga Nidhi scenes to set out figurative sense of WHY Ranga thought she was a unique potential.

Anyway - I'm not saying I'm absolutely disappointed or anything - but I'm definitely finding all those loopholes with lack of conviction in the writing... scenes with so much potential that start of well, but end leaving me with mixed reactions. Not to mention, the way this children ward issue is seemingly embarking on drag phase - I can imagine why a 56 episode series is being reproduced in 250.

On a side note - Vishal was very impressive today. Like very. In his funny scenes, in his solemn bits. Not taking back my earlier statement, I'm not all in for his entire dialog with Nidhi, but to his credit as an actor, he was damn good. And bang on in the scene with Anji. Not to mention the way he sensed Ashutosh's inclination to call on Nidhi - his character showed some good nuances today.

Overall - I hope this children ward scenario will end in credibility. And I direly hope all the more so, that Nidhi's eventual reason to return would be done with much care. With the right blend of her logic and emotional incline coming to play.

I'd rate the episode a 6/10.

@Filza: I think as soon as Nidhi gets over the shock of everything...she'll begin to blab away at him as usual :D...if she gets a bit subdued by the events...I think Dr. A will help her...console her...share words of wisdom

I do get the feeling that if she does come back, he will sunaao a lot to her about not coming back for the kids atleast for a little while😆

Agree about Nidhi being a real character and not self-sacrificing, mahaan types.

exactly.. She is definitely getting it from him.. the way he says to S that ''Nidhi in-spite of being told that you kids had not had anything since yesterday refused to come'' showed he was a bit angry with her.

Yeah Vishal did look good in that blue shirt...

Arey Saiyaan toh they can't resist...literally EVERYTHING...all objects...animate or inanimate are SAIYYAAAN in connection to Nidhi😆

Yeah they are setting up masala for a high point with Nidhi returning frantically for Shehenshah...but ah well...as long as the treatment is fine...which it has been so far *touchwood*...let's see what this week holds.

Even in a sort of filler epi, there were enough interesting nuances acting-wise especially by MB that carried it through😊

MB is always a class apart
RA reminds me of RA.one😆 but I guess that will do😃
