you are right competition is very tough.. those other shows at this time-slot are well established..

But if we look at it this way, the fact that KTLK managed to grab at-least some Trps (if not very high ratings) speaks of it's potential..

SP keeps flagging shows on air.. atleast for a year... Sony ends them in a flat 7-8 months or even 6months at times... Kismat ended faster than it began... 😕
Its kinda sad... but we can always be hopeful..!

LOL how is it similar to BALH?? Just cuz the hero is an older guy?? Oh please...ppl are so quick to try and find random "similarities"...in that case toh Parichay is also like BALH cuz it has an older hero, no? How lame.

KTLK actually has a story and a better treatment so far than BALH managed...but ofcourse that is the reason it will get low TRPs...lol...when have the audiences EVER rewarded quality? The worse BALH gets, the more it drags, the higher the TRPs...I guess that's what audiences like.

KTLK has more subtlety so I dunno if it will pull in TRPs...it also has a much better supporting cast than BALH.

kTLK is a show with a lot of depth
People need to look at some mature love story and depth
I Hope the show gathers the viewer momentum
Good show and SOnY can get great viwership if people see the change in angles of a new show potrayed

So true.. oh my god the supporting cast ...i only watch RaYa scenes... but i agree.. the more dragging the show gets... higher the TRPs... 😕 Never get the logic of it all..!!

But Kekta knows the formula naa, Tanu...she doesn't even bother giving us a dhang ki supporting cast or good supporting storylines...if not for Ram-Sakshi, I would NEVER give BALH time of day...but it seems most ppl are happy enough watching the tackiness of BALH...hence the high TRPs.

BALH has given Sony a solid boost and they want to capitalize on it...but there is no golden formula to success that can be repeated over and over...I can only hope that audiences support KTLK and so does the channel...it's a show with a lot of promise.

I wish it gets more trps and the makers are happy and the channel keeps promoting it. Any new show needs time to pick up, KTLK will too.
timing I always felt was too early , 9 pm would have been better may be. 8 pm competition is tough. both BV and Ipkknd have already garnered viewers and those who like to watch shows like BV cant be expected to shift to KTLK, since it doesnt have the masala they like to see. It has a different set of viewers and hope they all are able to switch on their sets before 8 pm and contribute to trps.

There is a lot of depth in the conversation of these shows people who watch such shows can gauge the momentum it picks up
Shows are sometimes. Less vibrant and more pertaining to depth and dialogues and te way the screenplay is depicted
These are more like shows like astitva ek prem kahani and the shows which were airing between 2003. 2007 so viwers who have seen such shows will see a breather
And it's not anywhere in comparison with balh
I watch both shows with a differnt set of mind even thought the concept caters to mature love story pace momentum and the wavelength are differnt
Promotion of the show among classes of people watching television will give a good boost to the show and gain it's individual recognition
