@ Gavleen_Rock

DK is indeed a classic. I haven't watched it but have heard a lot about it though. And the fact that KTLK is inspired from DK is one of the reason why initially i got interested in it and than it was the concept, cast, promos and the first episode that did it for me and i am loving it now.

I will surely watch DK too someday but not now at the same time along with KTLK because firstly i think KTLK is interesting in its own right and is going perfect at the moment. And secondly when i watch DK than will tend to compare it with KTLK and build up my expectations and if they don't get fulfilled than it will just ruin the fun of this show as well.

Also I think some melodramatic drama is bound to be in KTLK as that is the hallmark of Indian TV today. While DK belongs to an entirely different era of television and in this Trp age KTLK can't be as sensitive as DK. And I think expecting the exact same seriousness as it is in DK from KTLK will be expecting too much.

At the end this show has to compete, build up TRPs so the content will be managed accordingly. But that said i am hoping they won't go overboard with typical and cliche stuff.

Raat youn dil mein teri, khoi hui yaad ayi,
Jaise veeranay mein, chupke se, bahar ajaye,
Jaise sehraon mein holay se chali, baad-e-naseem
Jaise beemar ko, bewaja, qarar ajaye

*sigh*...nostalgic!!!!

The best part of Joya/Ahmer love story in DK for me when Dr. Ahmer was telling the story to the kid and Joya was listening and watching him and then the Raat yuon dil me teri started... Awww...@docnuss...you made me nostalgic also..

I'm loving Mohnish.. as Dr. Ashutosh...btw in KTLK.
