The dynamics of ITV with regards to romance is really confusing and twisted. Pre-marriage romance is something that ITV doesn’t have any problem with. In fact it’s the best technique used by ITV makers to attract fandoms. ITV doesn’t have any problem at all with ml and fl falling over each other by the first episode even before they have established their characters properly. What a sane viewer might see as manhandling or I might dare say molestation (imagine some random not-so-good-looking guy doing the same to a fl) is portrayed as intense romance in ITV and the fandom actually gulps it and goes crazy for it.

When it comes to post-marriage romance that’s whole other story. FLs who are absolutely fine with being physically handled any way the MLs pleases before marriage post marriage become the ultimate shy virgin brides. I’m yet to see a show where the ml and fl actually consummate their marriage on the day they got married. Most of all once the deed is done romance becomes totally out of the picture as they are busy saving the world with innumerable plannings and plottings. Also realistic romance (even make-believe) and ITV don’t go hand-in-hand. In short, to expect dev and sonakshi to have realistic romance after 3 kids is a far stretch in ITV.

almost all the marriages in ITV are forced/marriage of convenience, how will they make out on the wedding night🤣

Agreed! And his sleeping pills stunt has further guilt tripped her and made her extremely vulnerable . Dev lacks emotional maturity and is an extremist . He's hardly grown over the years .

Honestly , at this point Dev doesn't surprise me . He was always an escapist and refusing to even acknowledge that there are issues between him and his wife , forget trying to fix them . Sona really seems to be in denial about Dev . She seems to be finding it hard to let go .

What I don't understand is that the ved aysuhman name fiasco was so conveniently brushed aside and that seems unlike dev..yes. he never stands up for sona, but his kids? He literally fought with his mom for when they found out about Soha and he stood against his entire family for a big thing like being a house husband when shush was born, but no based on the demand of the plot, these writers are bending some core traits of these characters.

That's exactly what all of us have been saying . Look his ignorance is bliss and not detaching the umbilical cord looked was understandable in his twenties . Now , for a 40 year old man with 3 kids , it just looks so out of place .

This is a huge gripe I have right now. What is going on, how can they brush this away?

I hope this is a big topic in those counseling sessions.

Otherwise the message sent is that, kids know nothing and their feelings are not that important. Elders know better and just let them do whatever they want.

I hope the makers address this. Can't believe they are wrapping up such a big issue with no proper closure.

Sonakshi seems to be in love with the idea of whatever she had with Dev in the past...the happy days of her relationship. She's still holding onto to that phase. Her present with her husband is hardly anything to fawn over tbh. He ignores her, is gaslighting her and doesn't respect her wishes. The sooner she realises this ... it's better for her. She should make him work for the marriage as well. Her one sided efforts won't make the ship sail... it's bound to capsize.

Elena is as velli as that new girl, who has no other work than trying to hunt down some guy whose bouquet she took and then hoping to meet him since she believes in serendipity!😂😂

People who actually are busy with work are getting carried away listening to these velli people.

Elena needs to focus on her kid who seems to be bent on winning the Brat of the Year award.

Sonakshi is trying everything to keep her relationship intact... she's bound to give up at some point if the efforts aren't reciprocated. Empty words will hardly have a lasting effect till the actions don't follow.

What is the problem of Golu and his dadi? No common sense at all?

Bijoy brought non veg...but it seems someone asked him to bring it. I personally find it wrong to bring non veg to a vegetarian's house ..but since he was asked to do so.. it's ok I guess.

Elena must've seen more than what we saw in the precap between Dev and the new girl...if not then otherwise her toofan prediction sounds stupid.

100% it was Ishwari. She was looking sheepish and embarrassed at GKB's tirade and Bijoy was just too gleeful.

Good one, get your sarcasm🤣

It’s just funny how the makers’ morals makes an exit when they show the MLs invade the FL’s personal space, the staring contests they play with each other, all the falls and catches, even manhandlings, in fact they seem to get transported to alternate universe in all these situations. When it comes to the wedding night, they suddenly remember oh they aren’t supposed to react to each other physically, see they have been forced to marry each other. Jokes apart, it’s just that these people make such a mockery of any kind of physical relationship, all that buildup leading to it, I get super annoyed. I make a habit of avoiding forums during those episodes usually. I know I sound like a prude but for me physical intimacy between a couple is as pure as emotional intimacy. There should be an integrity when it comes to how you show it, shouldn’t be made a spectacle of.

Bold:

Oops, guilty!!

But since Kuch Rang is marketed as a realistic show, I can expect at least an implication of a kiss!!!!

😂

It’s a realistic show per makers, but you forgot one key word, it’s a realistic sanskari show, so you won’t get a kiss, even an implication…
