I don't understand why should always a woman make all the sacrifices for the family? Why doesn't a man take it upon himself to share her responsibilities as well? The reaction Dev gave to Sona in the precap was kinda strange. Does sitting at home for a year or so and letting your wife climb the ladder of success for a while is enough? The way Dev accused her that she is unaware of the mishap, it left me speechless. If this is what it feels to be married and in love, who wants all of that?
Exactly!! He expects Sonakshi to be a superwoman & expects her to handle everything at the homefront when she herself is a working woman. In the previous episode he told her to concentrate on taking care of his children while he handled his business. Sonakshi too is a working woman who has her own business to run. Isn't taking care of the children equally his responsibility too? How in the world is Sonakshi supposed to know what the children are doing behind her back when she is at work? Dev too was presumably at work, wasn't he? He must have come to know about the incident only when he returned . Either Ishwari would have told him about it or maybe he himself found Ayush locked inside the room. Was he aware about what the children were doing in his absence? So how can he blame her for it?
Also if Dev & his mother had listened to Sona in the first place to give time for everyone to bond with Ayush and had Devakshi discussed amicably about how to go about introducing Ayush into the family, things would have been handled better by everyone including Soha. Here the mother son duo went about forcing Ayush on the kids as well as on Sona expecting them to bond immediately. The kids should have been told that Ayush's parents are dead & that they were planning to adopt him as he had no one to take care of him or they could have sat down & told Soha that he is her long lost brother without going into too much into the details. Instead Dev went to Ayush's house alone & made a huge blunder by revealing to the little boy ( who already was in a state of shock grieving the tremendous loss of the only parent he had), that his father was not his real father & that he ( Dev) was & that he was interchanged at birth. It was so wrong of Dev to tell one kid ( Ayush) the truth of the circumstances of his birth while keeping the other kid ( Soha) completely in the dark especially when both of them are going to come in close contact with each other as they are staying in the same house as siblings. Children tend to blurt out the truth at inopportune times & I won't be surprised if Soha comes to know through Ayush about the switch.
Sonakshi too is at fault for not being very firm with Ishwari & Dev when they go overboard though she tries to make an half hearted attempt to do so. Sometimes it feels like Sonakshi seems to have lost her self confidence and identity after being bogged down with constant taunts from Ishwari & blamegame by both mother & son.. Sona needs to balance her love & care for both Ayush & Soha without getting paranoid about her fear & concerns for Soha (however valid it may be). Though she is trying her best to give Ayush & herself time to adjust to each other, she ( & Dev ) needs to sit down with Soha & firmly make her aware how unjustified her rude behaviour towards everyone & especially to Ayush is. At the same time, they should also make Soha feel secure by saying that their love for her will never diminish even if they care for or adopt Ayush legally. She will always be their first child ( biological or not) & nothing is going change that fact.
