Also how can we just love the character which came from no where. I just want them to wrap this character.

One question that is running in my mind is , what happened to Shub? I thought they had two kids. They only showed Golu rt? Or was there another child shown? They are only talking about Suhana getting hurt , hence asked. Too many kids...confused I guess.

I agree!! IMO Asha was a good mother but sometimes she gave completely bad advice to her daughter. Another instance where I hated her advice was during Dev's birthday fiasco in season1. Due to her advice, Sona ended up kissing Dev on his cheeks instead of kicking him in the ....... Imagine having a husband who has no guts to tell his mother that he & his wife had planned to ring in his birthday together (first one post their marriage) by celebrating it at a restaurant on his birthday eve & that they had planned to celebrate his birthday together with his entire family the next day ( i.e on his birthday) & that right now she was waiting all alone outside a restaurant for him at midnight, so it was imperative that he go to her & bring her home & then they could cut the cake & celebrate all together. Instead he just stood there with a stupid look in his face & cut the cake in her absence. It was so insensitive of him & I felt so bad for Sona. Any mother would have advised her daughter to give him a piece of her mind & make him realize how unacceptable his behaviour was especially given that she was all alone in a strange place in the middle of the night waiting for him but Asha did nothing of that sort. In fact she encouraged Sona to let Dev go scot free.

I have watched most of the scenes of krpkab a no of times but could never bear to watch this episode again. It make me angry even to think about of it. 😡

PS.:- Don't get me wrong , I do like Asha and she was Sonakshi's best friend & also her sounding board & she gave some sound advice too but sometimes the advice she gave her daughter was the typical Indian mother's advice of compromise & adjustment in her sasural especially in situations in which she knew her daughter was right & her son in law & his mother were in the wrong.

You spoke my mind you know. I never understood how people are so fond of Asha as a mother & pissed at Bijoy as a father. To me it's the totally opposite.

Asha is good natured no doubt but she is too soft & she taught her children, especially Sonakshi to be a docile non opinionated doll in order to avoid trouble. Whenever there was a trouble she advised Sonakshi to bow down before it not to fight for herself to overcome it.

When after the first breakup, Ishwari & Dev eventually came knocking on Sonakshi's door asking her to come back, Sonakshi was not all that willing. She loved Dev but she was genuinely hurt at the way he so readily discarded her to please his whimsical mother. And she had every right to say no to him when he offered a reconciliation just because he got permission from his Mummy now. Sonakshi was totally right on her stand & Dev, if really wanted her back, should have gone through at least some realisation what he did wrong. But here came Asha & she somehow made Sonakshi feel bad about giving Dev a hard time & encouraged her to forgive him & go back to him even though he did nothing to earn that forgiveness. 🤔 I personally think, this sealed the fate of their doomed marriage. Because Sonakshi went back so readily Dev never realised his mistake & didn't learn to value her. Ultimately it was Sonakshi bowing down to Ishwari & Dev's decision and that gave the duo an impression that they could treat her however they want. 🥱

I totally agree on your viewpoint about the bday incident.👍🏼

And also I would like to add how Asha was all so welcoming & forgiving towards Dev post leap. Come on! That man just ruined her daughter's life! Married her daughter, but treated her so horribly, forced her to conceive even though that was hard for her just because his Mummy wanted so, threw out her family on the street (I know it was Vicky. But Asha didn't know that right?) abandoned her when she was pregnant & never looked back or came to check on her for 7 years but the moment he got to know he has a daughter with her he shamelessly tries to force his way into her life & blames her for every small things again!!😵 How can her blood not boil just looking at that man for what he did to her daughter??😳 I find Bijoy's reaction in this part of story totally appropriate over Asha's. Asha actually didn't really care all that much that Dev was blaming Sonakshi for keeping his daughter away from him & shaming her for not doing her wifely duties by staying with him even after he kicked her out or that he was blaming Bijoy for helping his daughter to move on & not sending her back into that toxic house from where ahe was thrown out! Asha somehow always skipped over Dev's taunts & blames but always stopped Sonakshi whenever she tried to give him back. She literally sat them down together & said none of them were to fight with the other as if both were equally responsible for all the fights And since then she became so pro-Dev.... she actually teamed up with Ishwari & again forced Sonakshi to forgive him & go back to him when again, Dev didn't really do anything to deserve that forgiveness. And if season 3 is to be taken into account, that was again probably a not so wise decision as far as Sonakshi & Suhana's well being are concerned.

I am actually quite relieved that makers decided to kill off Asha instead of continuing her character with a different actress. If she was here, she would have probably justified Dev's eagerness to force fit Ayush into their lives & would have asked Sonakshi to "understand" Ishwari's point of view too and probably would have pressured her to bend to their demands to establish a happy peaceful environment in the house.🥱

There's actually so many times I thought ASHA was wrong. The scene where came with sondesh after slapping bijoy.

I don't understand why is only bijoy angry. Didn't he cry in asha's lap feeling absolutely humiliated. I can't for.my life understand her reaction when Dev came knocking and she wasn't hostile to him.

Compare that to how bijoy reacted when Dev called ASHA aunty. He took matters in his own hands and was more angry than ASHA at her being hurt.

I just don't understand how she feels for Dev and ishuwari so much and so little for sonakshi and bijoy.

So true...I dont know how parents can forgive someone who has hurt their child. In fact literally messed up her life. But till some years back most mothers of daughters behave the same. They dont mind their daughters suffering as long as their daughter is with her husband and his family. They give examples of how they had sacrificed for the sake of their children and family. The example they give is "Have you seen your dad when he is angry? They are all the same. You just need to adjust" because for them its ok for women not to be respected .

I dont remember seeing any TV shows where a women stands up for her and her kids happiness against her husband and inlaws. Even if she does finally they will conclude it in some misunderstanding .

The present generation of young men and women have a different approach towards marriage . . Millennials are lot more logic driven than blind followers. They have the courage to question the system when not right.

I really hope to see some refreshing change in Dev and Sonakshi's character. Honestly speaking I wouldnt mind if Sonakshi walks away with Suhana from that house. And if she does then this time she should not get back unless she sees a change in Dev's approach towards his mother interfering in his life.

I am fed up of seeing "my ma can never be wrong "Dev .

This was one of the reason dev started take her granted.

And I disliked asha when she didn't even bother to say sick bijoy he was good husband just to show dev is not bad husband. If she was alive she would realise how much her husband was better. Here Mr. Dev cracking some lame husband jokes, where as bijoy took her to honeymoon suit even after saurab married. I am thankful to krp they introduced character like bijoy, though he is short tempered, he such a good father, husband, son and father in law. After sona, bijoy is my favourite character.

They r showing him here n there. One in first episode on breakfast table other one he played with ayush n third he broke something n sona had to rush and other time eshwari gave big lecture when sona screamed not to touch something..

I think bcoz of covid they are calling him for only required scenes. Its better he is too small, n even dialogue delivery difficult for him.

In that sandesh scene I think she was caught in a sticky spot. She wasn't very welcoming to him, asked him to go back before Bijoy sees him but couldn't be outright rude to him because Sonakshi was still married to him & there was a good chance that in a few days Sonakshi will go back to his house. If Asha insulted Dev here, who knows how Dev's whole family would treat Sonakshi in response to that? Here, I am ready to give Asha a benefit of doubt.

But in other situations I find it so maddening that she didn't support her husband or daughter & practically pushed her daughter into a horrible life trusting the wrong person.
