Okay since you insist on having an argument and I have an itch to debate in most cases, I would like to say some things. What is your definition of a fan? Always appreciating your favorite and praising everything he or she does? And here in that particular post you quoted, I was just having fun and joking about his obsession with such captions. So why and how does that make me any less of a fan? And who exactly wrote down the Constitution for fans and the do's and donts of being one? Why do you get the authority to certify whether anyone else is a fan or not? You are telling me not to judge Shaheer and judging my words in the same sentence. Quite a few of us have defending Shaheer on so many instances. I have argued with people here and mentioned a million times that I want his show to succeed (like so many others have) even if I don't watch it. Not sure why you insist on calling everyone else a fake fan just because they happen to have fun or pull his leg or just disappointed with some of his actions.

P. S. I expect a civil response from you because am assuming that's what you have been insisting on all along. You don't have to bash or get person to prove a point.

Okay. First of all, I have seen you speak much more than just this about him. You, in particular mock every caption he puts up, every tweet he posts. I am not asking you to praise him, not at all. A true fan is not unnecesarily judgemental and likes his/favourite actor for whatever or whoever he/she is. It is not written anywhere, it's basic sense.

You may be wishing good for him and even in your heart probably you do, but that is of no use if you use every second post of yours to pick on him. His captions hold meaning for him which you may not understand, is it really that necessary to make fun of them every single time? You do it because it gives you pleasure and you have fun speaking about his so called obsessions. According to me that is not correct. There are plenty of things to discuss about him. His friends outside work, his past shows, his shows in Indo which are doing well, his future prospects, his relationship with Erica(if at all there is one). But tum logon ki gaadi uske posts aur captions pe hi aake rukti hai. It is not because you have nothing else to discuss about him, it is because discussing this particular stuff makes you all feel good. You like having fun at his expense, simply put.

Of course it's your prerogative what to post and what not to post. I am giving you my opinion since you asked for it.

Watch watching all BCL videos and now i can't help but really wish they play this year too. i don't know how will they behave rn, given the equation has changed and they run away as soon as they see a camera in vicinity, par koi na koi moment to capture ho jayega na.. 😆

A. I do have a problem with the captions. Whether it's Shaheer or Erica, I definitely don't like it when they post depressing captions one after the other. The world is not so depressing and IMO, they should post fun or happy captions once in a while

B. Being his fan doesn't mean I can't mock his captions he tweets. Am I abusing him? No. Am I hoping for him to fail? No. Am I not defending him when I feel the need to and when I feel he is justified? Yes. We mock our friends and family too for certain things in a light vein. Does it mean we hate them or having fun at their expense? And he is a public figure with a public account. So we can't even express an opinion on that?

C. Shaheer can post whatever he wants from his account and I can post whatever I want from mine. Last I checked, am not even bashing or abusing him.

D. So we can't express an opinion on a public figures caption but you get to express an opinion on my opinion on the caption? I a fan who is not even a public figure?

E. Like you yourself admitted, what we discuss is our prerogative. I want to be civil so I genuinely request you to stop being judgmental and calling out anyone who does not subscribe to your definition of a fan. You don't agree with an opinion expressed. Please quote that post and disagree. Argue in a civil manner and mention why you think that perspective is wrong. That's what I do. We don't have to fight or throw accusations for everything.

P. S. I avoided the other trolls but you insisted on having a civil debate which is why I even chose to respond. I think it's best to let it go instead of dragging this further.
