Eri's signing off post was so touching and it took me down the memory lane where it all began! Knew it was going to end one day and yet it is difficult to let go. Dev, Sonakshi and Kuch Rang will forever be close to my heart!!!
Biceps, I mean, By chance I came across A Day out with Erica Fernandes video last year and I instantly developed this liking for her... idk, she seemed different and I got curious about the show. So I searched and the latest episode that I came across was the one where Dev's shirt button gets loose and he asks Kichu to sew it back and Sonakshi wispers "mat lagana kichu bhaiya mat lagana"... and I was gone! Completely mesmerised! I found her so cute and endearing in that yellow dress!! And Shaheer...oh My! Dil ke totte uda diye! couldn't believe it was the same Nayva guy - how handsome he was looking!! (knew of him, but hadn't watched any of his previous shows). Day and night, whatever time I could find, I caught up with the previous episodes of KRP and from then on I got hooked to Devakshi and then Sharica.
I loved Dev's sensitivity and Sonakshi's straightforwardness and her strength of character... their core characteristic. and somewhere during Devakshi's journey the line for me blurred between the character and the person playing it. Shaheer poured his soul into Dev and I could feel his sensitive soul and his emotional self being potrayed through Dev. I totally believe that the guy is all heart, is very emotional and is full of love! His love just needs to be channelized in the right direction. Erica is so calm, mature, in control and has withstood some hard times that her strength of character shines through, just like the character she made alive. Erica is the perfect anchor for Shaheer, just like Sonakshi is for Dev.
Oh, and together they look heavenly!
