Ok So there has been a lot of debate about why this and why that. Some can take it and some cannot. And it depends on the perspective, it depends on the personal choices as well.

I have made it very clear in my previous post that there are many alternatives which could have been shown instead of 1 taking care of the household and other working. But the thing is makers chose to show it this way. And it needs to be about personal choices. Why can't it be.

People take different decisions in different circumstances of life. Not everybody reacts the same way in the same situation. There are many examples of a mother giving up her job for years once she gives birth to a child for the kid's upbringing. Say for a year, 2 years or 3 years. Some don't. Both the partners continue their work as well as take care of the kids. I really don' judge any of them as it has to be their own personal choice, if it is not done unwillingly. If the decision is taken unwillingly, then yes, its unfortunate.

Now coming to the current scenario. The thing i really liked about the presentation is the nervousness in the two. Though the decision is taken willingly both of them are nervous, whether they will be able to live upto their own expectations or not. Sona keeps calling Dev to ask him how's things going at his end and even expects his call even when in work. Yesterday when Asha called, Sona thought it was Dev.

Secondly, coming to Dev.. They aren't showing him getting everything right in a go. Dev has never done all this and yes we are bound to make mistakes when we try something new. We tend to fail in the initial attempts as well. This is what's happening with Dev. He's learning certain new things and in the process yes few things doesn't happen in a way it was suppose to. He couldn't make Soha's ponytail correctly. The breakfast may not be very good. While doing all this they were late to the school. He was nervous, he feared that may be all will think he wouldn't be able to handle it and hence lied. But that's ok, we do make mistakes. It's not that when you become a parent you don't make mistakes. Then at home he was sad when Ishwari said that only a mother can understand certain things about her child. He was sad that why can't a father? But he was not disheartened. We saw him in another scene with Shubh and he was learning.

So yes he made some mistakes yesterday, but that was bound to happen. As he is doing a lot of things for the 1st time. He is nervous. He has a fear of whether he'll be able to pass this test or not. So, i am in for this journey of Dev. I don't want to judge him or his decision. Because at the end of the day it differ from person to person. And i am here watching a journey of DevAkshi not your or mine.

Note: This again is completely my POV. You all may differ. 😊

Jo 🤗👏. Agree with everything you wrote. Our perspectives differ according to our experiences. They both are working together towards a common goal with each other's support. Even in their family some are supportive, some apprehensive and some clearly against their thinking not because they don't care for them but because they care too much for them and don't want to see them fail or be the laughing stock of the society. Not everyone can support their loved ones at every junctures of their life. The same is visible in our forum. For me they are working as a team now and that is enough for me.

Well... I just loved ur post!!! Everyone has different pov... I always believed this season was the journey of devakshi as considering each other has equal patrners... Where both r supporting each other to fulfil thier dreams dev is supporting sona to fufil her dreams in her professional life while sona is supporting dev to fufil his dream of living his children's childhood as well as his own childhood... I firmly believe that is what cvs is trying to say... Who sacrifaces thier dreams ,y, how, for what etc etc aren't important it depends upon each couple its thier choice...or they aren't saying each man in this planet to sacrifice thier dreams for thier wives...And become homemaker... But what is important is considering each other as two equal halves...!!!!and support each other in thier thick and thin!!!!...
This is totally my pov!

Thank you for the post Jyoti di. 👏
This is what. The situation is such that many face but all have different reactions. And people have to stop imposing their thoughts and judgements on others. If the mom wants to drop her work it's okay but not because that is what she is supposed to do, If the dad wants to stay home that too is fine only it has to be his decision only, and both working with some additional help, nanny etc anything is okay. Who are we to say what to do and sit on judgement.?
What they are trying to show I think is not dad becoming househusbands but that moms always do not have to give up work. That what moms so dad can also. He is also equally responsible for the child and capable too. That only mom can understand or nurture the child is rubbish. So I am with dev on what he said today. He need a bit of time but he is their dad and he can do it.
I just hope people keep a little open mind.
