Hi guys, this is first my attempt posting an OS, wrote few times before but never end it or post any...
this ramble... just keeps running in my head for few days now... just thought to give a try... (that's how bad Sharica effect on me... )
so, here it is... please pardon me for any mistakes/ errors... please feel free to drop comments... will love to hear it... 😊

ARE WE JUST FRIENDS?
It was announced KRPKAB will be off-air in just another 2 weeks...
And the final few days shooting is being wrap up.
As usual Sonakshi, as much as she is upset with the decision, she played her onscreen role as Erica for the last few shots. How much she is going to miss this set... This has been her family for more than 1 and half years now... And Dev; he is not even here (with her) when the announcement was out... she is totally blank on what to think right now... so, she was just moving with the flow, being professional, that's the least she can do right now...
On the other side, Dev is in Dubai... he flew here just few days back to sort out some personal matters. Then, came the news at the most unexpected moment KRPKAB is going off-air... That too, in just next 2 weeks, and he only have another 2 days shooting to wrap everything with his team, his family... that's right, he has considered the team as his 2nd family now... and Sonakshi. Just another 2 days to mingle with everyone, with Sonakshi, his Sona... Yes... HIS SONA...
How can he describe his feeling for HIS Sona, she has been his routine, his day & night, 1 day without hearing her voice has become impossible now. She is the sunshine of his life. She had entered his life in a most unexpected way, but the most beautiful way. He had learn and used to live on his own all this while, he never had a need to be with anyone, never needed anyone. He was the 1 person that always could be happy on his own world. He was going with the flow, planning on his future, back up plans etc. But he never picture anyone in that future until Sona came. His planned future looks more complete and beautiful with her in it. Now, he can't imagine his future without her, He loves her, he knew it, learned to accept it for some time now but haven't express it to her yet, it's not time yet... he feels she needs time, they need time. But what if she do not see him like how he sees her. That cannot be,... Right? Is that even possible...? He do not want to go there... He refuse to go there... of course she loves him too... she always give special attention to him, she made him feel special.. always... that's LOVE right? If that's not love, he do not know what it is...
But right now, he need to get back to India, to his Sona asap. He needs to see her, not sure how she is coping up with the news. He needs to confess now, he knows, it has to be now or it will be too late.
These 2 days have been hectic, need to wrap up everything, even his scenes with Sona is not much, most of the scenes were shot separately using BD. This is the time, that it does really hit his heart, he is sad how a beautiful show had to end up like this; Sona also feel the same, they feel bad but nothing much they can do about it, and they won't blame anyone for it; it happens, they just need to accept it.
So, the final shot is done, he is getting ready in his room for a small farewell party arranged by the PH. He hope he can speak to Sona now. As he was thinking that and getting out from bathroom, shirtless, wearing only his pants, Sona was standing there, waiting from him.
He was surprise; 'Sona, what are you doing here?'
'Waiting for you of course! Why you sound so shocked? Not that I never seen you shirtless before...' she giggled and turned.
'ooo... really? If seeing me like this doesn't affect you, why did you turned then?'
'What? What kind of question is that? Just like that, I need to provide reason why I turn also now?' She is still facing the other side and pretend to look at some of random stuff in his room.
Dev move to her and hold her from her back, she was taken by surprise.
'Dev what are you doing?'
'Nothing,... just feel want to hold you... It's our last day shoot right? We won't be able to spend time together as much as we used to do...' she gulped at his comment...
Dev sensed that; 'Why are you tense like this? I thought you said I have no effect on you?'
'No... nothing like that...' Words doesn't seem to come out to help her either... but she forced herself...
'We are friends right? Friends doesn't do this... right? I mean, being close like this... I mean... that's not right... right?...'
With that, he turned her to face him, looking straight into her beautiful eyes;
'yes Sonakshi, friends don't do this... But are we just friends Sona?'
'Dev...'
'Tell me Sonakshi, are we just friends?'
Their intense eye lock was disturbed by knock on his door;
'Dev sir, all are waiting for you... They gonna start the party, is Sona ji also there with you?'
Dev replied; 'yes yes... we are coming... !'
So many thoughts running in Sona's mind, she tried to move from his hold when he look into her eyes again;
'we need to talk Sona, come with me after the party tonight'
'mmm...' That's all she could reply...
Both of them join the rest of other crew to enjoy the farewell party. As much as it is sad for all of them that the show ends but they really tried to spread the positivity on how the journey has been; after all it is really a good & beautiful show.
As the time pass, the party still going on, Dev can't wait anymore, he needs to talk to Sona, he still can feel her smell on him when he hold her close just a moment ago. But here she is behaving normal, as though nothing had happen... how can she be so normal, so chirpy as always... Wow, he really admires her for that at the same time it irritates him also... Does he really doesn't have any affect on her? Really? Nothing? And here he is craving to be with her... Sigh...
Dev signaled Sona to leave and both of them leave after saying goodbye to everyone, it was really the sad and emotional for all of them. The talk during the journey to Dev's house was more on the show, they shared how they really going to miss the show and everyone. One thing for sure, they know it's not a goodbye for them, didn't even think about it.
As they reach the house, Dev moved to the kitchen;
'I will make some coffee, you go and freshen up. By the way, I bought something for you from Dubai the other day, didn't have time to pass it to you; you can try that; it's in the room'
'You did?!... Thank you so much!'
'Of course I did!'
'Aww... so sweet...' With that she gave him a quick hug and ran to the room.
Smile escaped from Dev's lip; no matter how many times he bought something for her, she always look surprise and doesn't fail to appreciate it as if that's the first time... O God... he just love everything bout her...
He bought 2 cups of coffee to the living room, sat on the sofa while waiting for her, and she came...
'Dev, this is so beautiful...! Does it suit me? How do I look?'
It is a pretty blouse with long skirt, in casual style; soft blue & white combination. He loves it the moment he saw that suit and thought it will look good on Sona. But he was wrong, she look angelic in that, words failed him...
'Dev...?'
'You are looking great! I know it will suit you. You are beautiful! You made the dress look beautiful! Come, join me'... he noticed her blushed for a moment... and he loved that...
She sat next to him... suddenly both of felt heat around them, not that they haven't spent time like this before, alone in his house, they always have great time together... But today it's different... Coffee is long forgotten.. Both their thoughts went back to their talk before the party just now...
'Are they just friends???'
Dev broke the silence... As he move closer to her...
'Sona, do you know I never brought anyone personally to my house before? Never... I mean I know that you know I had a past but I was never so comfortable with anyone the way I am with you... I don't restrict anything with you... with you, I am myself, and I like the fact that you are also yourself... I don't allow anyone to enter my life, my future before this, anyone... ! except you... You ... just you... so, my question back to you, are we just friends? Does just friends do this?... feel like this?'
'Dev... I ... I ... I don't know Dev.. I don't know what to say...'
'Sona, look at me...'
'I love you...I love you Sona...'
'You love me?... you...'
'so you want me to repeat the dialogue now?'
With that she chuckled;
'yes Sona, I love you as a man loves a women'...
Sona was taken by surprise... She was just looking at him speechless... Looking into his intense brown eyes... lost in it...
'Sona... please tell me you love me too...!' and that broke Sona's trance...
'yes Dev! I love you... I do... I really do... I love you so much Dev!' lone tears escape from her eyes and Dev was taken back...
'Dev, you know... I never thought this day will come, I even convinced myself that this... this feeling i have in me... just one sided love... That you don't love me... I should not be hoping anything from you... I mean you are a nice guy... you are so perfect, you have so many admirers, why would you want me... I mean, I know you are nice to me,... but you are nice to everyone right? ... So..'
'Sona, stop it right there... I am nice to everyone but doesn't I made you feel special? You are not anyone Sona... you are special to me... You are my Sonakshi!...'
'... but'
'Sona, look at me... I am so sorry... I made you feel like that... You have no idea how many times I had to control myself, control my feelings for you... Just because I thought the time is not right yet..., and looks like I have succeeded in that... I guess I am a good actor after all...' and he chuckled...
Sona can't help but laugh at that, he is one of the kind... and he is in love with her... she cupped his face...
'Dev... Just tell me you love me again'...
With that, he kissed her palm; 'I love you Sona... I love you with all my heart... You are the only one... I LOVE YOU...' And sealed that by crushing his lips on her... And to add his joy, she responded to his kiss with the same passion as his.
'oo... Sona... How much I longed to kiss you... To hold you like this...' he murmured in between the kiss...
'you did?' ooo... his Sona, never failed to surprise him... He smiles...
'yes, I do...' still kissing... he won't get over this anytime soon...
'then... show me!'
'What?' he broke the kiss...
'show me...' she moves further and sits on his lap...
'Sona, what do you mean?... caressing her beautiful face with his thumb... she is glowing...
'Dev, I never thought you look at me that way... You know... with longing... You always have this smile on your face... Made me feel happy and love you... but i never thought you need me... you know... that way... you know what I mean right? But me... always having imagination getting intimate with you, I even scolded myself... To tell you the truth I even had wet dream bout you... I really feel bad about that, scolded me for thinking of you that way...'
'o God Sona, you never stopped surprise me...' he brought her into a bone crush hug...
'you have no idea Sona... how many times I have to stop myself... to hold myself from crossing the friendship line we put on us... I love you... the whole of you... and I desire you... only you... Sona...'
'Show me Dev'... Inviting him to an intense eye lock...
'Sona... don't do this... You are torturing me...'
'I need you Dev... I...' he didn't let her finish as he took her lips to an eternal exploration... this time, it is more deepen and passionate... his hands were exploring her back... up and down... bringing her more close.. not letting even air between them...
He moved to her jawline and she moans... 'Dev...'
'ooo... Sona... you are so beautiful'... he move his hands to the side of her bosoms ... and hesitate...
'I am all yours Dev... And I trust you...' and arching back to give more access to her neckline...
That's enough for him... he carried her to his room, lay her on his bed and climbed on top of her...
'are sure bout this Sona..?'
She pulled him into a deep kiss.
They spent the whole night exploring each other, pouring love for all the lost time they have spent together but saved the end part of love making for their marriage... it was unspoken deal they had with each other... they cuddled and drown into the most satisfying sleep, feeling complete.
One thing for sure... They have each other from now on... have a beautiful future together, can't thanked KRPKAB enough for that...
And of course... THEY ARE NOT JUST FRIENDS...' J
