Ever since dev threw vicky out and stood by what he believed in-- the story has taken a turn and seemed to be closing the loose ends. So is it fair to assume that makers knew that they didnt have enough time andmay be they were trying to renegotiate with the channel ?..

Otherwise how is it possible to shoot 2 wks worth of episodes in 2 days and wrapup shooting..
So i believe they knew ahead of time and seems to be doing justice to the show (a bit fast fwd it may be). Still better than wrapping everything up in one last finale episode.

I am glad they are doing it this way.. atleast we know what to expect and seems they are giving us all the lovely moments to cherish inthese 2 wks. I wish they had stuck to the initial 1 year time frame and gradually ended the show ... with same pace overall.. but i guess its ok ... lets enjoy the last few epis . I would feel a void in my day to day life once it is over. No matter how much we cursed dev, sona and ishwari - i lived them and always wanted to see them doing right things and making correct decisions.

Will surely miss this show and its awesome characters

Yes, the makers knew about it in advance. I'm happy that they're not dragging the serial but there is a hint of sadness that I won't be experiencing extreme emotions due to the behaviour of some fictional characters😆
Will miss KRPKAB and the entire cast.

I know right.. i still remmebr the happiness and anger that these characters caused in this show... omg i am going to miss them. I feel like they are real people and they are going to go missing all of a sudden... its a very sad state for most of us... i guess thats life and kudos to makers for making it so real and creating this void in our lives once it is over.

Yes the makers definitely knew it in advance, I guess this would have happened just after Yash Pattnaik' interview and if I remember correctly it was around that time that Dev's over possessiveness track started and probably the channel did not find it worthy as it had shades of another serial from the channel and also the fans reactions were intense as well for that track. Also it was around the end of that track we had the Shaheen-Erica interview in midday where they talked more about their future plans so that kind of substantiated that the actors knew by that time that a final decision was to be made by the channel and it probably leaned more towards ending the show.
Coming to the last couple of episodes yes they are trying to close all the loops and the loose ends that's why it looks a bit off on the editing part. But some lovely moments are been created I really love the way how Soha is becoming more comfortable with Dev now. Also hope to see Vicky exposed before his parents but I doubt that will happen. And good that they are showing Saurav as a responsible person now.
My only grudge is that the episodes are getting shorter, yesterdays was a 20mins one and today's was about 18mins . Hope to see some more lovely moments before the end of the journey.

I think the show was originally planned to wrap up in 1st week October rather than in August. What we are seeing are three tracks running simultaneously in the last ten episodes instead two running in parallel in twenty episodes to twenty-five episodes. The abrupt cut off only meant that we won't see scenes exploring depth with small conversations here and there, kids running around or just a small romantic scene.
I am satisfied with how they are moving towards it although a bit more time would definitely been nicer.

Nobody knew until last Friday n second pregnancy track with complications was the next track. Episodes were shot bcz shaheer was going on a vacation. If makers would have known then they wouldn't have agreed for any time slot. Or beyhadh would not be shooting after its last episode shot which was on 10th. As off now they r going by their plan. Lets see when the things start turning rushed .

nice post Lavanya.
I think its good that this show is ending. they wouldn't have closed some loops even if it had continued to run.

i agree that the characters became real for us at times and we started projecting our rights/wrongs on them.

I think the makers knew and kept people in the dark. Anyway, even if they did not know, it really does not matter now as all have moved on...

it is always the gullible, emotional, and loyal audience that is taken for a ride, hook, line and sinker.

Yes, keeping the grudges aside that I have from the makers and the channel on how the show ending has been handled, they deserve credit for creating such characters which almost felt so real that we started using our real life experiences in judging them. It hardly happens with fictional characters and the makers managed to do that here

I don't think so, since Shaheer had to go to Dubai for 3 days and South Africa may be for 5 days. I think they had banked the episodes. While they had already shot scenes with Shah. I think they have cut the scenes which are less important. I also feel some of the birthday sequences also might be deleted since they had to cut shot the episodes. I think only the pregnancy track will be shown. Also there will be different shooting spots in different locations. They can do fast. I assume since Shaheer has to go to South Africa for a programme on 19 and 20, he has to live India on 17th or 18th . I think they had banked the episodes prior. Kuch rang is always on fast track now they will be on SUPER FAST TRACK.

I really feel sad for kuch rang going off air, but it as to end. We have to face this one or the day. But wrapping was a shock to everyone.

I have a doubt when will the last episode air.
