And for us viewers the lesson that keep your expectations low and stop finding logic or analysing the series 😆 end of the day it's just fiction, I mean so many debates/discussions/analysis on the current track and what do we get at the end of it all .

Observation of the day

Dev was taught to love this way by his mom. His mom smothered him with love so he is smothering his wife with love cos that's the definition of love that is ingrained in his head. So what if he wasn't this way with his sisters or daughter? So what if he wasn't this way when he fell in love with Sona. Yeah he was crazy but never this crazy yet we will conveniently make this his second nature cos we have a track in hand which focusses on this trait of his 👏

Lesson for the day

It's okay to suffocate and smother kids with love cos maa bete ka rishta alag hota hai. It's only wrong to suffocate husband or wife. Ishwari suffocating Dev was okay cos she was just protecting him from the world (courtesy gyaani mamaji 😆)

Palti of the day

Randomly show a molestation track and make it creepily similar to a much publicised case. Then get the male lead to freak out and act like you are dealing with sensitive issues like PTSD and abandonment issues and forget it all and make it into a question of parvarish which can be rectified by pravachan no. 100 of Ishwari ⭐️

Constant of the day

As always the lack of emotions in Sonakshi. Bring in dialogues about the female lead controlling her emotions and not expressing herself and ditch it half way through cos her thoughts and POVs are irrelevant. She is only there to scream and act mahaan and sacrifice in alternate episodes to keep the family together 😆

Shallow observations for the day

A. Shaheer looks gorgeous in black
B. Best dialogue hands down is Ishwari mocking Dev's haircut. Props to Shaheer for taking it sportingly. Good he knows that it sucked 😛😆
C. Shaheer and Erica have better chemistry when they fight rather than romance cos while romancing, they are made to act like siblings 😆

Good post.

Well I might be in the minority here, but I love Dev's current look. The haircut also looks cool now.Infact I would go to the extent of saying that this is amongst his best looks ever in the show(his look over the last 3-4 episodes).

I guess I was tired of his long hair and felt incredibly relieved to see him getting a haircut.I hope he keeps this look till the end of the show.

Sorry for going off topic but I just wrote whatever came in my head.Other than that, agree with most of your points.

I see your point... with regards to Dev's way of expressing his love for his wife...
Ishwari's love for Dev could be the reason for Dev's possessive love... I agree with you because he has witnessed and received this kind of love from his mother while growing up therefore due to the environment he was brought up in does contribute to his decisions...

I was searching for your post only. 😆
I ranted in the other thread. 😆
Nothing in this track made sense to me at all. It started off with something else and ended with something else. I swear I didn't get anybody's lectures, nor Sona's nor Ishwari's. The show anyways hasn't been making sense lately. All your observations were on point! The main problem was always that Dev and Ishwari's smothering love was toxic. I thought Ishwari had understood that and it had been magically resolved. Now why was that compared with a husband and wife's love. I don't think I'm able to articulate myself properly. But exactly what you said it's normal for a parent and child to have such a relationship but not husband and wife, cause that's exactly the message they sent out.
It started off as Dev's fear of losing Sona, but now magically that fear of his will disappear because of these faltu lectures. Why did he have to behave so psychotic then?!
I know I'm jumping the gun here, but the precap seems as if they'll patch up with all the issues brushed under the carpet again for the 100th time without proper communication.
Your shallow observations. 😆
Shaheer looks really dapper now. 😳😆
And now it's Vicky's turn to magically transform overnight and Dev will apologize to him for throwing him out of the house and slapping him, because Vicky only tried to sabotage his business and married life. 😆
So much for hoping that with this track they'll focus more on Sona and why she's become so emotionless and focus on her struggles and also resolving Dev's abandonment issues. 😆
P.S. It's a shame they haven't gotten the best out of Shaheer and Erica's amazing chemistry. They will never be able to utilize it to the fullest and do justice to this gorgeous looking pair.

PS: Loved all ur shallow observations. Shaheer-Erica are gorgeous. Such a classy couple they are. I actually love Shaheer's hair now. With the correct styling, it looks great!

Lol every track and every conflict is resolved by lectures on TV soaps. If only life was that easy 😆 The makers shouldn't even touch upon sensitive topic like mental issues if they don't have the guts to see through the track. The track started off being something and ended up being something totally different 😆

Oh for sure he looks good now. Am almost certain he trimmed his hair after the haircut fiasco and with the right styling, it looks good now. Which is why I mentioned that he looked really good in today's episode. Black is definitely his color 😆

Seriously, what are they even trying to do with their lead characters? Such injustice and disrespect towards these two beautifully sketched characters. There was a time these two were relatable but not any more. Still I am not able to understand what this track is about? For what they are playing with their leads ruthlessly, even the side characters are treated with more respect and care than their leads at present.

Lol if Dev was brought up this way and had this effed up definition of love, he would have behaved in this manner right from the time he fell in love with Sona. Even if we were to say he changed and is scared post the separation, he would have displayed similar behavior right after the reunion. Why show a series of traumatic or life threatening incidents to make him go crazy and imply that he is going through psychological issues? If this was his second nature, he wouldn't have waited till the almost molestation night to go crazy. So the writers started off from PTSD, then went to lack of emotions in Sona, added a random woman empowerment track in between, then made it about Ishwari's upbringing and finally ended it with her lecture. Are you kidding me? 😆

Now the only thing left is for Dev to apologize to Vicky and bring him back cos his darling daughter threw a tantrum. Wah 😆
