You've always been head strong, fiercely independent person and relatable character. You have never been flawless, no one is, but you've never caused any harm and never thought about intentionally hurting anyone. Your goodness and your innate simplicity have been appreciated and celebrated by your loved ones. At times, your ego, your sense of confidence in your decision making capacity and your love for your family have influenced a level-headed person like yourself, yet, it was relatable, as no individual is perfect.
You are a daughter, a wife, daughter-in-law, a mother and you are you Sonakshi'. As a fan, I have appreciated all roles you have played; there is no second thought about the fact that you are good human being. Seven years ago you took a decision, a decision to separate from your husband and end your marriage. That decision was influenced by many things, it was series of unfortunate events; things were said and truths were manipulated, and at the end it broke two souls. After separation, you fell pregnant; you struggled and gave a birth to a baby girl. It took time for you to decide to involve you estranged husband in your daughter's life, fair enough, but fate played its game and your daughter couldn't meet her dad. Well rest is the history, as that event changed your life, your husband's life and most importantly your daughter's life.
In last few episodes, I have been totally disconnected with your character, you have turned to person who is finding it difficult to connect to you husband's fear and show empathy. Fair enough, you have been through your fair share of struggles and it has changed you as a person.
Now about yesterday's episodes, you totally let everyone down with your decision to not to let Dixit family know about Viccky's deed. It was not about the deed, it was about what happened because of his manipulation. He broke your marriage, he took away Soha's birth right to be with her father, took away shelter from Boses family's head and most importantly framed an innocent man for his entire misdeed. It's a huge thing, Dev took the blame and everyone including his mother thought he did that unforgivable thing. Yes, it was unforgivable to make some one homeless, and very few questioned your decision to separate from your husband.
I always felts that the day you would find out the truth it will break you, it will be heart wrenching to see your guilt and your emotions. But thanks to amazing writer, they took this away from loyal fans. And then they made you to not to tell anything to Dev. Like Seriously? First of all, it is not your decision to make Sona. Elena is the wife, it is her trust that is broken because your family is also her family and she wants to let everyone know. But no, you emotionally manipulated her to not to tell. Is she supposed to forgive him and stay with him after knowing what happened because of his lies, you took decision to separate but she is supposed to just live with it? Wrong..
Its not your decision to make because he has broken other family member's beliefs and trust. Do you remember what Ishwari did for him, what Dev did for him and what Dixits family did for him? You were always aware of his behaviours, you never trusted him in the first place, now you want to save him. Don't Dixits deserve to know how Vicky is mocking their goodness? How about Ishwari? Doesn't she deserve to know Vicky is the reason behind the separation? Not that she is flawless or Dev is flawless but what Vicky did is put blame on other person's head. Wrong..
Now finally, doesn't Dev deserve ty o know? He must be cursing himself for what he thought he did. That night changed his life so much that he wished to be dead instead, and worst part he did a mistake of sharing these things with you. There is a saying that "it is better that ten guilty people go free than that one innocent person be convicted. Dev was imprisoned for 7 years, it destroyed him and don't you think he deserves to know that he never committed the crime. I will never say Dev is free of any sin, he is not but he was accused for something he never did and worst part he himself was made to believe that he did it. Do you actually believe it's your decision to make? Are you being fair to your daughter you claim to love the most? Wrong..
Sonakshi as a character was a big let down for many fans. Dev will eventually find out about it but Sona deciding not to say anything changed everything. And for what, a happy family? Seriously, is it important to have that false sense of perfect family which is tainted by lies and manipulations?
Only silver lining is Radha rani finally coming to her senses, BTW I thought she knew about Viccky's misdeed. Maybe makes are trying to follow "Harry Potter theme, Harry saved Peter, therefore, had one person in Voldemort's side that was indebted to him. Likewise, by saving Vicky RR is now indebted to Sona who is technically in Viccky's side.
Let's see what makes have in store for us, but after today I can't even bother about understanding Sona.
One disappointed loyal fan
Sorry for my long rant. Expressing my POV.
