I find your post really sweet and surprisingly matching my view. I generally watch on TV, but yesterday a couple of meetings over stretched and I was late and hence read Suta's updates.

Inspired by the written update I watched the episode till Dev called Bijoy mogambo and Sona laughed. It was so insulting for me that I had to switch off.

Honestly if I had read that Bijoy was mocked by Dev again l wouldn't have dared to watch. as it is Indian men don't respect their in laws, and now we have Dev who mocks Bijoy UN necessarily

But honestly I want to watch the Sona Ishwari scenes after reading your post...

Well analysed. While Ishwari-Sona's conversation was endearing, Dev-Bijoy's conversation was straight to the point. Yeah, I liked Baba in yesterday's episode. Though he is having his own apprehensions, he took the effort to forget the past and accept Dev & Ishwari with a warm welcome. Aise lage raho Baba.

Don't want to comment on Devakshi scenes, as I don't want to get emotional & tensed.

He might not show over enthusiasm but whatever he shows is genuine and straight from the heart. Dev was comfortable with the Boses and accepted their love with ease but what he yearned for was Bijoy's acceptance. Being a father himself he understands Bijoy better now. I would hate to be anywhere near that someone who might hurt Soha to even 1/4 of what Sona went through. Dev would behave the same or even worse than Bijoy and he knows this.

Ishwari - Boses scene was just too good to be true. Their daughter being welcomed as daughter of her sasural is every parents dream. That is what Bijoy and Asha had ever wished for their daughter. The same Ishwari who said she is forced to accept the alliance for Dev's khushi is now asking her daughter and friend back. Bijoy who asked Sona to rethink about Dev because he knew she could never be happy when Dev cannot be happy as his mother is not, couldn't have asked for anything more to get relieved from his worst fears. Their family whom they love more than themselves being happy in their happiness was Dev and Sona's dream. And they finally got it but at what cost.

I am still reeling from the final scene between Dev and Sona. Especially Dev's expression when he read Sona's email the part where she asked him how he could do this to her. He was burning. They are so scared to be happy. The past has changed them and they both knew that they have hurt each other. To again hurt each other is the last thing they want and both were trying to protect the other from this. But they have to face it and accept it because it is a part of them now. They won't be able to move forward without facing it. They will have to support each other and be each other's strength now. So excited for the story now and I am ready with tissues.

But we know the slap, the bitter dialogue against Bijoy to Asha at Bose house stay, referring him as Budhao and vowing to teach him a lesson after he gets married to Sona. Also Dev is not the type to be kind with Sona if she calls Mami a witch or Ishwari a budhiya. Also he has never referred to his own family with such names

Hence my reservations

Btw I watched Ish Sona conversation. It was as cute as you described it

Also my Dad is not really as protective as Bijoy. Would love him to be as such...
