I don't know about you guys (because I have already read certain posts) but I loved the episode. Why? Because it made me feel happy, tingly, bouncy, and embarrassed for sona as well! Basically I had a smile throughout! I walked down the stairs actually to hug my baba even before he had entered home and had that extra spring in my step!
OK enough of me I know!Let's talk about the episode. As soon as it started I could feel the u know lightness of the episode of you know what I mean... Like a huge weight had been lifted. And indeed it had been! From sona excitedly talking to that lady, her eyes smiling, talking about how a tall handsome man had made her alive again, to her driving the rikhsha and conversation with the auto wala, to her angry outburst on that man at the cafe she thought to be dev!... It made me smile and laugh and join in their happiness. The scene turned into serious for a moment as she said I have come looking for you but that doesn't mean you can't come to yourself! But switched instantly as she saw dev! And what followed was golden!I was embarrassed for poor sona! She literally had gone bonkers! I was thinking may be kisine thori thori... You know! Her cheesy dialogues, drinking coffee from same cup, going to sit near him, falling over him... Uff sonaaa! And what I loved was she new they were cheesy, and we're not hitting the point! I couldn't help but feel this was CVs line too!But you know why I loved it? It had a kind of rawness, simplicity, and reality to it!You know that jittery feeling ever time you see the person you love or crush on, the sense of being able to calm yourself, to not know what to do or say, to embarrass yourself in front of the person and mentally chide yourself for that? That happens to everyone right? That emotion was perfect in this scene! Added a sort of freshness to it!As dev, probably fed up of her sillyness 😆😆, started to leave she turned a bit serious. She said wherever he would go, she would too. She went down on one knee and apologies. For taking so much of time to accept it, for trying to push him away, for feeling guilty for breaking his marriage, for saying that sorry, for not saying I love you for so many years, for not seeing him so many years. It was simple, frank and completely apt for the situation. Very simple things really.. Which hurt her all these year so must have been same for him too right? This part was one of my favourites!Another comic moment was added dev ubruptly started to leave when sona said what? (oh I wish you could see my smile as I write this!) and dev said tum khari kyu hogai??But as soon as she was bending down again he held her! From her shoulders his hands slided down to hold her hands and as their fingers touched... The ring was his!Simple, elegant beautiful scene as they looked at each other with smiles reaching their ears! And exchanged their rings.Dev demanded those magical words from her mouth and she breathed her I love you as if breathing after years! And that smile on his fave as he probably did too!He repeated those words and opened his arms to welcome sona! Into which she literally flied into! That one fleeting moment where they broke the hug and were so close was pure bliss! And then they became free, became kids!!! Dancing, jumping in the rain, twirling ,almost floating in love and happiness!!Until at last dev realised what had just happened! How he adored her! One hand on her shoulder, another on her face sliding to her neck to pull her closer... Passion in sona's eyes.. And his too as he placed a kisss on her forehead. Sona closed her eyes for a minute before opening them again to get lost in his eyes. That look!..yeah it was finally sinking what had happened! And dev slowly pulled her to his chest! Sona closed her eyes and dev had tears in his body! I don't know... How musical the episode was no?For this night they could be free, they could be them. Their fears, pain, separation, struggles...everything could wait another day! Today the night would just celebrate their love story! Their togetherness! Just one night without any shadow of the past!If you are thinking why not a heavy, emotional, tearful confession?Think about it. Dev and sona are two very different people! While he always has had a way with words and lays his heart open through them... She shows it through her actions. That's just what happened today! She is the one who danced on the sofa the first time dev proposes her, she almost fell down from one the next morning after that episode in the bedroom? So why would this have been different! Such contrasting characters would obviously proposes differently no?While he made us cry with happiness, she made us smile madly with it!Very very different! And this is what I actually loved! By showing something different! You know they could have easily done it the way we wanted it just like dev's confession... Highly emotion and intense! And it would have been a sure shot! But they chose to show something different not expected by the audience... And well literally surprise us!!But this jolly, mad, silly, euphoric confession was no less! It suited sona's character!Yes I am still missing that and connecting scene but I am still hoping we get the 'plan' in a devakshi scene or Bose house. But today, nevertheless, everything just fitted! It was new, fresh, different!..and I loved it! Still feeling tingly! Can't wait for next weekP. S I missed two things. One is mai sonakshi bose who and woh dev dixit... Woh zaroot laut ke ayenge! Loved that confidence! And secondly, the in between bose and didn't house scenes were also very good. Simply because they also had that feeling of togetherness, happiness and lightness after a long time. The kids innocence, Bose house nok jhok, ishwari chiding radharani, contimuation of her change as she herself decides not go call him... Everything just made sense. It was a kind of episode which gave hope for the future to everyone around these two!You know the charm of the episode wasn't in it dialogues, but what made it memorable was just the happiness it exuded... The feeling of moving on, of love!
