I am terribly mushy and teary today!
Throughout the episode I cried in bits and pieces!
Everything seemed to remind me of a once beautiful relationship. Just like sona did.
The flashbacks, in his room, her talk with his photo, in the garden and finally the one with nisha!
I couldn't stop my tears.
Specially her description of what best suits dev. That smile in her eyes when she spoke of him... Oh you can't miss that!
How no material thing can by him. He lives for his family and wants only love, happiness, and good memories. A simple man won over only by meaningful talk. And tapri walk chai. His beautiful she described him. This is the difference between hoe someone who loves him sees him and how we do. Last few weeks we have focused so much on his shortcomings and mistakes that we have completely overlooked the numerous marvellous things about him!
And sona's words today were like waking up after a long time. This is why we initially fell in love with dev. It cake straight from her heart and touched ours too.
Everything was too beautiful till now.
Yes. I was a bit irritated with sona as to why she took the blame on her. But I guess just as dev has done numerous times before (in front of her drunker or not and in front of ronita's mom as jyoti di said), she too was finding faults in herself. Ultimate both had been at fault. In fact with sona trying to change dev during that cupboard issue... I agreed with her. That was too sudden and a but forced. And ishwari had been hurt that her doing that for dev would 's buri adat. The part where she said he was handling everuthing also I partially agree. His ways were wrong maybe, irrational but all we was trying to do was good by everyone. I don't agree with all sona accepted today but I can understand her reaction. We all try to defend our loved ones in front of others knowing that they are wrong. And sona always had a habit of funding faults in herself. Maybe she still has this weakness in her. Hopefully she will learn to voice all these things as the story proceeds.
But I loved dev today. How hopefully he looked at sona through it the episode watching her, waiting for her to speak up. He had tried everything, said everything. Now until she takes a step there is no when for him to go. And I cried with him when he accepted his love. Waiting for the rest of the answer and hopefully then people will stop calling him spineless.
And so I feel the precap was justified. It again reminded me of my favorite couple castle. Same situation. Castle had confessed his love for her and she had ignored it. In fact lied to him that she had forgotten and didn't give a reply. Deeply hurt by this, castle too started pulling away. Seeing others. Until finally theor union happened. Here dev is in the same spot. He has said and done everything. And sona still apologises for stopping his engagement. Look at the man. His eyes. His lost everything. And doesnt know where he is going.
But I do understand sona too. How deep her pain, her scars, fear might be. It's still fresh in her mind which is still stopping her. Eager to see what will push her over.
