Dev and Sonakshi are life partners /companions/ soul mates...and this affection is very very deep because its not just the emotional factor...its more of a culmination of emotional and physical union...and it has a greater power and purity ...which cannot be defined easily...so yes infront of this union...ego /self respect etc holds no good...you just want to be with each other...cant help ...wont blame both of them...in fact I am very happy because this what I wanted to see... 😊

PS : A person is born not to take on just one role...Sonakshi is not just a daughter...she is someone's wife, mother, sister , sister in law , daughter in law , aunt ...etc...sometimes you have to prioritize the responsibilities...and see what is the need of the hour...if its ONLY about playing a daughters role then parents should not get girls married...and once married ...need to learn to let go and live their life...now that she is a parent...she needs to think about her daughter and her needs too...

As far as Bijoy goes ...he still has Asha with him ...and trust me ONLY Asha will know Bijoy's true character!!

Yeah the way they show it, they look to be twin souls. That's why their love is superior than all the other love.
But agree with all ur point. But Bijoy never interfered, he just protected when needed. Also dev needs to reciprocate a little love to sona's family and tone down the Crass humor. Then Noone would hav a problem with their union.

Some how from Dev it sound s doubly wrong because of the fact that he actually disrespected Bijoy repeatedly many times.

A person's character is defined by what they are when nobody sees them. I know lot of boys Noone 's like this. That scene dev definitely crossed a line, and it's more unacceptable coz he does not do that to his kith and kin who deserve it. So it' was not a natural thing.

U are right.
But I don't think sona is extremely selfless, in that case they would not have shown her leaving Dev. She would hav stuck with him. But yes lately sona has lost her personality and we are bound to see more of that coz nothing makes sense in that show now. They could have shown sona ish bond gradually grow but no overnight they turned saccharine sweet which is too hard to digest. It would have been more fun to watch but hey its their story so let it be. And pls I read Elena's dialogue was not surprised I mean come on the girl married Vicky what do u expect from her. Moral of the story Never invest ur emotions in an Indian show.

Oh come on. I agree women need to balance. But during the separation time I don't think sonakshi had a choice. She had to take a stand for her father. Separation from sona was just the catharsis that ish dev needed to understand the toxic effects of their relationship.

Hey Natasha I beg to differ from what u said. I feel u are looking at only one aspect. Sona definitely cares for familys selfrespect. But sometimes u have to forget bad times and move ahead. Sona didn't go to Dixit, it's Ishwari who has come at her doorstep and seek forgiveness. It's different then last time and sona knows that Ishwari is Guinene this time. And believe me in love u become a lil selfish BCoz ur heart takes over ur mind. Sona always was of forgiving nature and if u call that as selfishness then u have to think over it.

Yeah it took 7 years for Sona to forgive him. That's punishment enough u guess. And reunion toh hona hi tha
They love each other too deeply to not forgive. But I would like too see a more strong sona who does not let dev get away with everything. But one can only hope

True ...and a true character of a person can be understood when he is faced with a challenge...not that I am supporting his rather crude behavior to his FIL...every one has two faces...one that they portray to the world and the other that they keep it to themselves...and this face is something which will not be known to anyone 99% of the time...even to their spouse...what we saw was his anger towards his FIL because he felt that Bijoy was becoming a hindrance ...

In general...more than half of the population don't share a great rapport with their in laws...and such words do come up in their mind or when with close friends...its not just guys..even women to talk abt their in laws...so what they showed in the truth abt the society and how ppl behave...especially the SIL...Sonakshi is too polished a character...her revenge is thru giving Karela juice...so ppl have diff ways of getting back...their thru words or thru deeds...in a perfect world such things shouldn't happen..but the our world is no where close to perfection..

PS : If something happens to Bijoy...then Dev will be one of those who would come running to help him...just like how Sonakshi helped Ishwari...and both will do it because they happen to be parents of ppl whom they love ...

Yes I understand sonakshi is too urban for that kind of thing. But the Karel juice was she doing that to get back at her. My problem is this whole bose house jumping on with the reunion with not a dressing any of the real issues. Like they were thrown out of their house by this man I'm not talking revenge, but how can they just trust him. Everyone behaving like the 7 years never happened and sonakshi is just a stubborn daddy's girl. That's my problem. And to tell you yesterday's ddlj line was so cliche.
