Today's episode before the big finale was like one preparing the stage where every character played it's part just as it should.
Beginning with ishwari.. I love how she is still shown to be realisimg the depth of her mistakes. When she talks with bijoy about letting her ego and her thoughts overpower dev's happiness so much so that she lost him, when she talks to Elena about only one who has suffered will know how deep the scars are and realises how cruel she had been to sona that now nothing seems to be able to remove her fear, when she says to asha and sona that she had been to late to realise and take that step toward sona... All this is her journey to redemption. And I want to see more of this now.
Next comes bijoy! An angry father talked to asha and bang on. He was told straight out that this is his ego, or his version of what will make sona happy which has blinded him. So much that he is himself killing his daughters chance to happiness. This was exactly what ishwari had done previously... To keep dev over her choice. If only there was some one like asha to show her the path instead of GKB.
That still doesn't get through to him. He takes another hit by ishwari's dialogue already mentioned. And finally sourabh. He reiterates that ishwari herself came here to apologise. That he should see what will make sona happy and free her from his promise. It apparently worked. And he took back his promise.
But what I loved was sona came to talk to him as to the reason. It showed how much she loves or respect her baba, enough to want to know his reason. And it shows she still had her doubts because she needn't have had this talk now and gone straight to dev! That's like the sona we know.
Bijoy ultimately asked sona to go. Why? Becauae of he happiness. And his face showed that he still is not completely won over just as today's segment tells us too. I hope this will be the start of a beautiful relationship. I want dev and ishwari to have some talk with him now. Waiting for it. But this was like the bijoy Bose we know. For whom his daughters happiness is utmost.
Sona has a mini outburst while these talks are going on that she loves dev. And tears up as she realises it's too late now.
But notice how tied up she is when she reaches the hall. Someone mentioned her hairstyle, her loud makeup and a face almost devoid of emotions even as she enters or as she sits alone in the room. Yes it is nisha's consideration but somewhere her own hurdles too. This time a lot if courage it will take for her to let go. They wish for her to open her heart to dev is still there. Can't wait to see how!
And asha, dadi, and saunita and the kids have always been there greatest supporters and did the same today. We often are so scared even if all we want to do is take the next step is that we need a little push. Saunita did just that today!
And rest sona and dev will overcome themselves. See how she looks at dev in the precap after nisha's question. She needs that confirmation. And as per spoilers the engagement will stop and dev will go somewhere so we can very well guess what dev's answer will be. And sona too will just need that little more time
No hurry sona! Dev will wait at eternity for you and so will we! Wonder what will make her take that last jump!
And her confession!
Can't wait for tomorrow!!
P. S only thing I didn't understand Elena today but will just take it as a cue for eggs ishwari had to say.
