Chapter 12:

Dev was just staring at Sonakshi.As the sunrays were falling on Sonakshi. When she woke up, she could see Dev staring at her. Both were embarrassed at the situation. She asked Dev to freshen up and she would bring him something to drink. She made 2glasses of coffee and came to Dev. Both drank without uttering a single word. She went to her home to freshen up.

The day went smoothly. Sonakshi was doing her works at her home and would frequently come and check Dev if he is alright. In the evening Sonakshi told Dev that she is going to buy some vegetables and if he wants something. He then prepares a list and gives it to her. Sonakshi felt something fishy. Everytime when she goes for any shopping Dev would surely accompany her but this time he immediately told OK. But she thought that she was thinking took much and goes out.

For Dev, this was the best opportunity. He went to Sonakshi's home, kept some hints for her and again came to his home. Actually he has prepared something for her birthday. He thought of playing like treasure hunt.

After some time, Sonakshi arrived. Then she prepared dinner for both of them. Dev asked if he could eat with her at her home. She told OK. After eating both were engrossed in their work. Soon Dev drifted in sleep. As he had fever and was very tired, Sonakshi thought of not waking him up. But only Dev knows that he is not asleep. He was seeing what Sonakshi does. It was 11:45at night. Suddenly Sonakshi's mobile alarm was turned on. She woke up with the alarm sound. It had a reminder saying Sonakshi to come out of the room and check her drawer at the Hall. She was very shocked. Sonakshi went to wake up Dev. But he didn't get up. Then she went to the hall. As soon as Sonakshi went out, Dev got up and took out the bouquet which he had hid under the bed and went out of her home. Then he placed the bouquet at her doorstep and again came to her room.

When Sonakshi went to the hall and checked the drawer, there was a gift with a chit kept aside. She opened the gift. There was a set of beautiful chand bali type earring. It was of pearls and white stones. She could use

it with any traditional dress. Then she took out the chit and read it.

A beautiful pair of earrings made of precious stones for my precious.

She thought this is definitely Dev. She turned and smiled at Dev. Then at the back of the paper, it was written to go to the doorstep. She opened the door. There she found a bouquet of yellow roses. There was a chit aside. She opened the chit.

I know what you are thinking. Every one at this time would give red roses. But I am giving you yellow roses. You know what yellow roses mean. The colour of friendship. Though we are going through a difficult phase as I hid a very big truth from you,my intentions were true. Though we fought, we are together now. It's not just because we are madly in love with each other or we are gonna get married soon, it's because our friendship is true. The bond we share between us is something eternal, more than love, it's a mutual understanding which doesn't come just by loving. Our basement of relationship starts from the beautiful bond of friendship. We are not just fighting with each other. We are fighting for ourselves. To explore ourselves. And I am sure we will win in this together. I know you are smiling at this. But stop your smile and go to the fridge at the kitchen.

Sonakshi was smiling like something. Though she is angry at Dev, she could not deny the fact that both love each other immensely. And the friendly bond they share is something which is so eternal. No one could break it. Then she went to the kitchen. She opened the fridge. There she saw a bouquet of red roses. She was laughing like hell.who would gift a bouquet that too from fridge. She opened the chit kept aside.

Finished laughing. I know you will laugh at me. For keeping the bouquet at fridge. But what shall I do? This bouquet is very much important to me. I told you the basement of our relationship is friendship. But a building cannot be strong just by a strong basement. The structure also should be strong. The structure decides whether the building is strong and good. Both the basement and the structure gives a strong building. Similarly our friendship and love both should be strong to build a good relationship. Togetherness is everything. Together, we can tackle any problem.its just that we need to build a stronger bond than before. I am sure you'll help me in this. OK enough of my serious talks. Now come to your room. There will be a cd cassette at your table. Connect it with your TV and watch.

Dev was seeing all this from the room. Sonakshi came to the room. She took and cassette and turned on the TV. What she saw was unbelievable. It was a video edit where all her photographs from her childhood were edited and was beautifully mixed with the audio. It had her photos with her family, his family and with Dev. She was very happy after watching it. At the end of the video, there was a message wishing her happy birthday. Sonakshi knew that Dev was watching all this. So, she thought of playing with him. When he got up and wished her happy birthday, instead of feeling happy, she acted as if she was not so feeling good.

Sonakshi :what do you think Dev. If you would do all this, I will forgive you. No ways. Thanks for your wishes and efforts, but now it's very late. I think you should go to your home.

Dev was very much upset with this. He was cursing himself. Meanwhile Sonakshi had other plans.

Sonakshi :wait and watch Dev. Now see what I am gonna do.

The next day, Dev got ready for office and went out to pick Sonakshi. He was scared as of how will Sonakshi react. But to his shock, her house was locked. He tried calling her, but her phone was not reachable. He saw a chit aside.

I know you are waiting for me to go to office. But I am Sorry Dev. I need some time. I'll come to office alone. Hope you understand.

At this, Dev was very sad. Here couldn't control his emotions. He just wished everything would be sorted out soon.

Sonakshi at office. Birthday has just started guys. The day isn't over yet. Guess what has Sonakshi planned.

Aww Dev ne kitna sweet surprise diya but Sona uske maze le rahi hai. Let's see USNE kya plan kiya hai apne hone wale hubby ke liye☺️ kya Hume ek cheek kiss mil sakta hai?

Chapter 13:

Dev:I think she is very much angry with me. But still I'll hope for the best. I'll do anything possible to keep her happy. Let her come to office. I'll talk to her.

Dev reaches office. Everybody in the office asks for Sonakshi. He says that she would join them soon.

Dev is very much upset as Sonakshi didn't reach office yet. Suddenly his phone rings.

Ishwari :hello Dev. Where is Sonakshi? Give phone to her.

Dev :umm.. Maa call her na.

Asha :No Dev. We called her. But she didn't take it. That's why we called you.

Dev :maa. You are also there.

Asha :yeah actually everybody is here. We came to temple together with both the families to pray for you both. Of Dev. Give her phone.

Dev :maa. Actually she has not reached office yet. She is still angry on me. I even wished her for her birthday. But she was very much angry and told me that she would come to office alone. Now I am waiting for her.

Neha:arey bhai. She is still angry on you. OK don't worry. Everything will be alright soon.

Dev :yeah. I hope so. OK I have some work. I'll talk to you later.

Asha :I'll again try talking to Sonakshi.

This time Sonakshi answers the call.

Sonakshi :yes maa.

Everybody wishes her happy birthday. She thanks everyone and tells that she is going to office.

Asha :but Sonakshi why are you still angry on Dev.

Sonakshi :No maa. It's not like that.

Asha :then what Sonakshi. When he wished you, why were you angry on him.

Sonakshi :maa. He can hike a big truth from me. Can I not fake anger on him?

Elena:fake anger..

Nikki :bhabhi. That means you are playing around with him. Are you angry?

Sonakshi :arey why will I be angry? I know he had done everything just to make me happy.

Ria:then why did you fake anger on him bhabhi?

Sonakshi :let him also feel how it feels when someone hides something from you.

Asha :so now there is no fight na?

Sonakshi :nothing maa. Everything between us will be sorted out by today evening. Ok

Ishwari :thank god. Everything is gonna be alright.

Sonakshi : OK maa. It's getting late. I'll talk to you in the evening. Bye.

In the office, Dev was working when he heard priya saying Sonakshi had come. He turned to see her and was shocked.

Sonakshi was coming towards him surrounded by their colleagues wishing her happy birthday. She was wearing a saree. A pink colour saree with sandal border. And a matching earrings.

Dev's pov:

Oh my god. She is just beautiful. This saree suits her so much. Wait. This saree. This was the saree which she selected. But I had lost it. How did she get it? I don't understand what is happening.

She comes near her. Now Dev notices her earring.

Oh god. This is the earrings which I gifted her yesterday. And today she is using it. Then why did she scolded me? I will definitely get mad. I have to talk to her.

Dev:Sonakshi, I need to talk to you.

Sonakshi :I know what do you want to talk Dev. You know what, if you are thinking that you are the most intelligent person, then you are wrong. You should be aware that even others are also brilliant. The day when you had fallen sick, I saw this gift. I know that it was the saree, which you made me select. How intelligent you are. You made me select a saree and wanted to gift me itself. So typical. But because of or tiff, you could not give it. That's why I thought I would take it and Wear and give you a surprise. And this earrings, this has become my favourite. It matches so well.

Dev :my god Sonakshi. You are just awesome.

Sonakshi :why Dev, you thought only you could give me surprises. I cannot give.

Dev :No no. It's not like that. Wait wait. This means that you have forgiven me. And and yesterday whatever you did was just a drama.

Sonakshi :yes Dev. I was playing around. I had forgiven you a long ago. So, how was the surprise?

Dev :it was just stunning.

Priya :Sonakshi. Come na let's take a Selfie.

Everyone takes photos.

And individual photo with Sonakshi. As soon as everyone starts with their work, Dev gets the photos and takes out the photo of Sonakshi with him. He then sends it to a photo shop and asks them to make a photo frame with it and send it soon.

The day went smoothly. They had lunch together at a nearby restaurant. It was Sonakshi's birthday treat. Then all went to their home.

In the evening, Dev went to Sonakshi's home with cake and the gift.

Sonakshi cut the cake and they both exchanged cake pieces.

Sonakshi :Dev. This is the most beautiful and memorable day I ever had.thank you for everything.

Dev :Sonakshi, the day is not over yet. Wait. Open it

Dev gives the photo frame. Sonakshi opens it and is surprised.

Sonakshi :wow Dev. It's awesome.

Dev :yeah I know. You'll surely like it.

Sonakshi : oh wait I'll go and place it my room.

She goes and keeps it at the table near her bed. She comes with another frame.

Sonakshi :umm.. Dev. Even I wanted to gift you something.

Dev:yeah give me.

Sonakshi :here it is.

Dev opens it and is awestruck. It was a very big photo frame with the same photo which Dev gifted.

Sonakshi :umm. I thought I would give you this as a surprise.

Dev :thank you Sonakshi. It's very beautiful.i wanted to give you a gift. You also wanted to give. But see, both are of same photo. I think this is what people say man proposes, God disposes. We are destined to be together.

Sonakshi :yes Dev. I just hope everything will be right hereafter. And our bond be like this forever.

Dev :we will be like this forever Sonakshi. I am with you.

Wht a surprise Sona gave and liked the way you have used the gifting gesture and not to forget same photograph great idea. Post the next one soon as your ff has become addiction and i wait as if i will wait like our epi to air everyday.
