Lately dev and sonakshi had become friends again,they would chat for hours,travel to work together,help out eachother and support eachother.
Dev's heart was once again falling for her goodness,but he decided to take baby steps and not freak her out as he knew that she wasn't ready yet.
Dev asked her out for a dinner,and sonakshi happily agreed,after all a dinner with a friend won't hurt anyone.
Dev decided to take her to her favourite chinese restaurant and they had just ordered the food when a random girl showed up and greeted dev.
Dev was highly embarrassed and sonakshi was utterly confused.on her questioning them,she realized that she was one of his 'many girlfriends'.
Gf:hi dev,what a long time..i missed u.
*she hugged him*
Dev:umm..excuse me
Gf:kya yaar,new gf mili to purani wale ko bhool gaye..tum to kehte they that i am the prettiest,and u forgot me?
*sona looked on ashamed and disgusted*
Dev:actually i am busy...
Sona:no,he isnt busy,you people can talk..aap log kafi close lagte ho,i don't want to spoil your meeting...and btw,i am not his gf.
With that she picked up her stuff and left,dev followed her.
Sonakshi was hurt,but then..she knew she had no rights over him,he was a free man..and she didnt wanted to get jealous or envious,but her heart didnt help her.
Dev:sonakshi wait,i can explain.
Sonakshi masked a smile and said:you dont need to explain dev,you owe no explanations to me..you're a free man,you're single...tumhe haq hai of trying to find love,of moving on..i get it.or tumhara ye haqq tumse koi nahi cheen sakta.
Dev was hurt by her indifference,and said:to...tumhe fark nahi parta?
Sonakshi:it doesnt matter.
And she left him standing there,thinking about the damage which has been done to their relationship ..but not before shedding a single tear in the name of her love
