😃 I am very amused when such threads are created. This TV show is trying to show a slice of life. There are a section of audience who have probably found some parts of the serial very close to their real life happenings and are able to relate to it. Some others have also experienced similar incidents but probably handled it differently and hence don't agree with the contents of the soap. Ultimately, this is fiction. If audience is able to relate some part to their lives, that's good, else it's best to just leave it. The Creatives would continue to show their story based on time availability, workforce, TRPs, financial investment etc. It's entertainment, after all. Take it or leave it. After all, the remote is in your hands! The interesting question now is whether Jotin would accept Sonakshi as a life partner after all these episodes played out! If he does, what do we call him? Would it be worse than Sonakshi forgiving Dev and accepting her guilt? Or Dev's acceptance of his mistakes and seemingly portrayed to taking the blame for Ishwari's crime (if there was one!)?

I know this is fiction but I hate it when makers sell this in the name of reality.I have problem with the double standards of the show a guy who is a casonova calls a girl characterless coz she was talking with her friend. And not everything is justified in the name of "love".I loved this show from the bottom of heart so it pains me to see this state of the show

Exactly, i was emotionally so attached to dis show,bt now don't even hv guts to watch d episode.
Sona loves dev so she cares for him is ok.bt forgiving him so easily widout solving main issue and want to get back to him is something m not liking at all.
As u told its so painful to see my fav show at dis state.

They might later on prove that he was faithful to prove Her somehow, Hindi serial logic. But the current state of the show is so pathetic that I regret why did ever watched this show and got so attached to it.I love Sharica but Devakshi no longer makes sense to me.Anways I have learned my lesson so no more Indian shows for me 😊

Whatever u ve said is completely true but u know what we are a bunch of few who have this point of view. Most of the fandom loves the show and find reasons to justify Dev's behaviour and since he supports Ishwari indirectly her behaviour too. They just want Dev Sona reunion at any cost and will be happy to see their cute romantic scenes however illogical and stupid they might sound. And I guess the makers are catering to their needs. Msg to society and what it teaches can go to hell. Till the mentality of the audience doesn't change the shows will also never change. But I m happy and proud of being part of such a group of women who r independent, have their own opinion and are not ready to tolerate any nonsense. Society is changing but alas this change is so slow paced.

yes u r right -- show is as regressive as other shows , and yes most of the fans of the show want sona- dev reunion irrespective of whatever had happened , and without any regard to sonas self respect , and the self respect of her family... and so the makers of the show are fulfilling the needs of the majority of the viewers, to fill their own pockets.

@TM

Everyone has different PoV and as long as it is expressed in the right way it should not be a problem(I might not agrrr with you but I respect your sentiments) but statements like every women should ,shame on women who support male lead ,male lead is supported because of his looks etc are very irritating (sorry for being blunt ) .I am not just referring to your post but there are/were tons of post who assume women who support ML are doing so because of his looks .Relating to FL is considered as progressive thinking and if some one can relate to ML or his family its regressive thinking or they are hormonal teenagers .Can this be considered as mature thinking ?

All I want to say can we stop preaching what women should do because in my opnion no one is qualified in the forum enough to advise and stop judging those who have different POV .

How are ladies tolerating this show? I wish woman protest against this show like they did for Ekta Kapoor shows in the past, they are showing a regressive behavior of Men and nothing encouraging is shown for a bahu.
Seriously, if this stealing was done by Sona for good cause then Dev might had called her by names or insulted her or so.. Very unfair to female lead.

Shows like these should be banned.

Apologies if someone likes the show and want to stick to it, initially, I liked it too but it's being in favor of Wrong Mother and Son or say Dixits. I am too sensitive to these issues I think but when one wrong person is favored. With rising cases of violence against woman, serials like these certainly holds responsibility for shaping mindsets as these serials are watched by Men and women like Ishwari in India and could lead them to conclude that their behavior is justified and hurting bahus and their families is less offence.
I am Sorry for being too emotional

+100000

You said everything that needed to be said, and we have been protesting abt all these unsolved issues since the leap but writers dont care, they are all chauvinists who dont give a damn abt what offends female viewers.
Some female viewers seem to like this abuse, this regressive crap

@ Bold: THAT IS THE WORST PART of showing offensive tracks like this.

Bahu's dad getting slapped and called a thief for nothing, while Beta's mom gets praised and justified for actually stealing and ruining a family's happiness! 🤢 Hadd ho gayi ab toh

I find this thread really hilarious!!!

If i do not like anything, i would just use my remote as the method of protest. There are so many things in life that are worth protesting, but no one takes to protest. No show is worth talking of in terms of protesting.. when governments itself are not protested against what is a show? if India would be a land of protests, our fundamental rights would not be trampled upon as it is being done today. If we have to protest, let us protest against the trampling of our fundamental right to question the government that runs the country. Just try protesting today and see what happens..

Farmers are dying in huge numbers. No protest, no need to protest. Poor Families are dying of hunger in large numbers. No protest, no need to protest. There is severe law and order problems in red corridor and other places. Security forces dying in large numbers. No protest, no need to protest. Serials promoting violence against women. We need to protest vociferously.

P.S: The said regressive serial is showing male ishwari torturing the female daughter in law. We need to oppose it as female lead is weak. Another serial is showing psycho women bahu torturing her male husband and mother in law. This is a strong lead. We need to support and encourage it fully.😉. This is women empowerment.

My life is my protest. Be the change you want to see in the world, is what somebody once said.😊.
