Realization vs Retrospection

Coming to the most important part of the episode. Dev-Sona conversations. Like many of you, initially I also was surprised on why they are rushing their patch-up and would it lead to the show ending soon. But, after seeing the episode repeatedly two times, I understood that what happened yesterday is just a confession of the self-realization to the other, that each had their own faults. Why we felt it as rushed is because, Sona's realization & confession happened rapidly, whereas Dev's realization )that he also was wrong) had happened much earlier but didn't want to confess it infront of Sona because of his belief that Sona left him. But, as soon as he got a glimpse of his old Sona, he confessed to the extent that he felt that he destroyed the old Sona. And it was at this juncture that Sona also agreed that she also failed to keep her promises; failed to believe in him and their love. And there started the new phase of their life.

Now that the realization has dawned upon them, what is remaining is retrospection. Retrospection means to recall any incident, action or thought that is bygone or past. Or rather its a reconsideration of something that happened in the past. Dev & Sona will now retrospect to see where, why and how they went wrong. And while this happen, we may get parallels from S1, where it will be shown on how they will deal each situation in the proper way. Simultaneously, GKB & her red, will be very much active with their antics; but this time it's going to unwind all their past adventures. So, let's sit back and watch the beautiful moments that are coming up.
