I can totally understand your feelings. But I actually didn't feel anything at all. No anger, no pain, nothing. May be because I can't feel empathy for people who choose to be victims. All my empathy is for helpless people who are made victim by force due to circumstances or otherwise.

Sonakshi is a willing victim. That means her condition today is because of her decisions. We all have to pay price for our decisions. She will have to pay too. If that means she is mistreated, well then only she can stop it. But for that she needs self-respect which Asha never let completely develop like many anti-feminist people who teach their daughters that if they show self-respect, then they won't be ideal women. To be ideal women, they have to be self-sacrificing and tolerant.

I wish Bijoy had married a feminist. May be Sonakshi won't be this half ass messed up person who neither can tolerate abuse nor can stand up for her self-respect completely.

Yep. If I wanted to watch abusive relationships, there are plenty of those selling abuse under the guise of intense love. Sona is behaving like a fool, not Mahaan.

Yep. And funnily he doesn't feel at all ashamed to admit that he stalked her and clicked her picture. Not to mention pointing finger at her character who eff-ed multiple women in hotel room. But then why shouldn't he when Sonakshi didn't give him a tight slap?

When she places such a less value on her honour, why should Dev care?

Yep. Agreed. Bhaiya was always on psycho mode. Except he just hides it better sometimes. But Sonakshi is the mistress of her own fate.

You are absolutely right. I have a lot of sympathy for women who are victim of abuse and can't get out of the situation for family, lack of education, lack of independence etc. But I have no sympathy for women like Sonakshi who willingly enter an abusive situation and even less sympathy for women who justify abuse.

Abuse can not be justified at all.

We can't judge people based on what they feel. People are judged by their actions.

For example, if I imagine killing someone painfully, I can't be blamed.

But if I act on it, then I am a criminal.

The same way, if Dev was angry, hurt, in pain and broke a few furniture, burned his farmhouse, it's fine.

But abusive behaviour and shouting at Sonakshi, not to mention treating her with disrespect because he didn't want her to have a life while he eff-ed most women in his 100 mile radius was not only crass but also behaviour of an jackass.

Good for you for skipping the episode. You made the right decision. I was on the same boat as you. Sonakshi doesn't affect me anymore. I have stop relating to this character.

Do you remember when Ishwari had lied to Dev and he sent her flowers with sarcastic note, how Sonakshi handed mother and son their arse?

Cut to today after Asha and Elena's brainwashing, she is justifying Dev daring to point finger at her character whom she called hypocrite just the day before for accusing her.

That's why I am not being able to identify the Sonakshi from one episode to another.

Two things I liked in today's episode:

Dev did not use the word "FEMINIST" even as he uttered "independent, strong" words twice! I was looking forward to comment on that but the CVs have become vigilant!🤣
PRECAP is utter CRAP. What have the CVs turned this once so beautiful, realistic and relatable serial into?!!

As Ananya rightly said, Dev's baashan was incomprehensible. "Tumhare aanken bahut khoobsurat hai. Tume ye baat pata hai. Isiliye iska faida uthaya!" etc. Such tangential statements! Is this supposed to be some indirect way of admitting one's lau? What is Sona sorry about? IMHO, a woman who empathizes with a person who questions her character should as well be called characterless! 🤔
