@Red: No, its not like me. I told, I am fed up with Dev, the REEL character. But you mentioned that you are fed up with all unnecessary(according to you) blame and accusation on Dev, which means real people who comment on Dev's character. I, nowhere talked about real people who praises Dev or who blames him. So, both are different right??😊
@Blue: Please, I didn't mention that Dev's character doesn't have any good shade at all. I was talking about one of his flaws of not able to maintain a balance between relations.
Most of us agree that Dev's character too have flaws like other characters, but if any viewer talk about his flaws why to get offend?? and asked to look at his good shade?? Can't we talk about his flaws?? Talking about flaws doesn't mean that there is no good in that character right??

Yes, Dev is selfish. coz,
1. He may love Golu, but his love for Golu is not same as his blood relations. This is the problem with him, as someone mentioned here, he loved Sona genuinely but not same as his mom. Same with Golu also, he loves Golu but not same as his blood relation Soha.
Why?? coz, when he knows about Soha, he wants best for her. he wants both her dad and mom's love, attention, care and affection etc for his daughter. Means, he knows a child needs their parents love and should share a close bond between them. But, why he didn't thought about it for Golu, who was with him for past 7yrs?? Did he anytime talked to either Vicky or Elena about this of Golu's betterment?? Not as a brother or family member, atleast as a well wisher for Golu why he didn't try to fix this??
2. After leap, Dev was shown as a guy who visits rarely to his own home, who drinks frequently, who maintains casual relationships, and who spends time with Golu. So, all these are sources for him to deviate from his pain, sorrow and depression, else he will be reminded for his life and will goto depression. Again, he may love Golu, but its not selfless. There is difference between Golu's love towards Dev and Dev's love towards Golu. Former is selfless and latter is selfish. Dev, used Golu as one of his source to forget his pain, which can't be denied. This is ONE of the reason to create distance between Golu and his parents. I said, one of the reason, as many other reason could be like poor parenting of Vicky and Elena. But, Dev didn't try a bit to fix this for Golu. Sad right??
Anyways, its just my view which may differ from many, so no issues. Letz agree to disagree and move on.
