<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Trying to numb herself from all those throbbing emotions, she closed her eyes to ward off those memories, opening them to close yet again... She was blacking out...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Dev who had kept looking at his wife walking so readily out of his house, when he didn't affirm the words he had once uttered in a heated moment... Her back was making framed memories in his head as he kept looking at her... Suddenly, he wanted to stop her before she really leaves... He rushed behind her, to stop her... A few steps towards the threshold had he scurried, just to hold her arm or shoulder to stop her, when she landed straight in his saving arms...FAINTED!!!</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"Sonakshi... Sonakshi???" he had picked her up in his arms and lay her on the couch on which his mother sat a few moments ago... Life was draining out of him seeing her this way, and she isn't even responding... Dev felt, he couldn't breathe seeing her unconscious.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"Congratulations Mr. Dixit! Dr. Sonakshi is pregnant... But please take care of the fact, that do not cause her any stress or reasons of unhappiness, considering how difficult as well miraculous her conceiving the baby is..." the doctor informed Dev as she finished reading Sonakshi's reports... Dev had rushed her to the hospital as soon as she had fainted, he couldn't wait for a doctor to arrive at his home...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Dev stood taken aback as soon as her heard the news... Just yesterday did he make love to her in Shimla... This can't be the result of the previous night... Sonakshi was pregnant well before that, and they had no idea... He stood like a statue, while his family hugged and congratulated him... While the Boses stood with mixed emotions... Asha though tried smiling to him... It is a big occasion for every parent... So, must be for Dev as well...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Dev smiled back at his mother in law, and then looked at the doctor- "When can I meet her?"</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"She is conscious, a little weakness because of a new pregnancy... Otherwise she is fine, you can meet her... We will prepare the discharge papers and then you can take her home" the doctor informed.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"Sure Doctor!" Dev gave a wide smile...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"Just make sure of her stress level... Mr. Dixit, she is at a very crucial stage... It can be a threat to her life as well of the baby, if not taken care..." the doctor warned again...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Though Dev's eyes held worry, he smiled yet again... His chest broadening up with resolve... He will take the best care he can give to Sona... Not just the baby, her happiness and wellbeing counts to the most priority here...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Sonakshi opened her lethargic eyes when she realized someone is around her, to find Dev and Asha standing on the either side of her bed... Dev gave a huge smile at her... His eyes looked watery, yet they held such happiness... Sonakshi smiled back at him...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">She looked at her mother when she caressed Sonakshi's hair... Asha smiled at her daughter- "I am so happy for you Shona... Pregnancy counts to be one of the most blissful moments of a woman's life... Welcome to the Mother's Brigade!" Asha gave her daughter a watery chuckle...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Sonakshi's eyes widened up listening to her mother's words... She was pregnant? That is why she felt such light headed? That is why she fainted? She looked up to Dev all surprised... It was like a dream come true!</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Just then, she felt her head echoing with Dev's words a few hours ago at his home...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">Sonakshi's hand in between them had made hindrance to the hug he intended... She wasn't smiling anymore...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="5" color="#ff0066">"Maa, main aapke saath aapke aur Baba ke ghar chaloongi... Dev, main aapke saath aapki maa ke ghar nahi jaaungi... Aap mujhe apne ghar se nikaal chuke hain..." Sonakshi barked her verdict, trying to get down the bed and walked with her mother, out of the hospital room, leaving a shocked Dev behind. Who could hardly move from his spot.</font>
