Loved your answer...but my heart says he is in love with her and if Dev had not walked in again...he would have married her...I mean if Sonakshi agreed...

I know ppl would say they are good friends...true ...Just because Jatin helped Sonakshi at the time of her need ...doesnt mean that he has feelings for her ..it can be a pure act of friendship...but here that is not the case ...

The reason why I said this is because if he was just a friend /brother /well wisher...he would not have agreed for a marriage when Bijoy suggested it..he would have politely said that he doesnt consider her that ...here he agreed to it and did speak to Sonakshi abt his conversation with her father ...and also went on to say that when ppl see us together they will think something is going on betwn us and it quiet natural...thats when Sonakshi got angry and confronted her parents...

He will never force his opinion on her because he knows Sonakshi still has some feelings for Dev...
Having said that anytime if Sonakshi is willing then he will fight with the world to get married to her..

no friend behaves like that.. he cannot even advise Sona properly... I find him most irritating and out of sync with the show.

Their relationship might have started as friends but I feel for him now its beyond friendship...atleast from his side ...its more of an unconditional love..but he knows his limits...and also knows that Sonakshi has feelings for Dev and not for him. He knows Sonakshi considers him to be a good friend...so he has stepped back...

Well...we can know only the truth ...if Sonakshi agrees to marry Jatin...then...we will know what he feels for Sonakshi...if he is ..
1) True friend he will not agree to marry her...would politely say no and agree to stay as her friend , supporting her thru out the life
2) If there is something beyond friendship , then he will agree to marry her

I have gone for the first option.
