Yeah family members being there reaaaly fix things. My mom still suffers from the after effects of ceaseerian which brought me to this planet despite my dad being there 24/7, her friend and family. Years later she's still suffering from that surgery like excessive weight which she never could shed off (and probably that never goes away) ugly surgical scar which ruins her mood Everytime she sees it, back pain from that weight, stretch marks all over her chest and stomach. Family don't take away the pain the suffering one person is going through, they can just soothe away the pain momentarily. Does dev know kids always waking up for breast milk and only mom can provide that? Does he know sometimes only parents especially mom can shush the child? Does he know kids need to be with Mom for a certain period of time and mom has to be there cause maternal instinct and need of baby? Does he know the pain of childbirth and the mental state of the mom?

I am not even a mother and this pissed me off so bad. Who writes shit dialogue like this? This is so insulting that we can't even talk about it sarcastically.

Btw folks cc is reopened so if anyone wanna drop by most welcome

Tia...thanks yar.
As usual, I didn't watch the episode. Just reading your update and it's more fun.

You want a shower after the episode, I think I will need to be fumigated.

Telling Sona she is a bad mother, asking her to admit that she is a bad mother...Gosh...It's confirmed Dev needs a brain surgery!!

On the Jodha Akbar scene comparison, in that movie, Akbar's mother found clarity in the situation and made Akbar realize this mistake, Jodha too did no forgive him immediately. Akbar had to work his way out ...

Here, Dev is only becoming more insane and uncontrollable. When MataJi Ishwari comes home, she will make a mountain out of the molehill. It's going to be worse for Sona...

I really wish the CVs will get enlightened...With all our comments, they are still persisting with the same characterization of Dev.

No complains from anyone though, really. Just my opinion.

Third you here.
She was not happy playing a mother to a 6yr old in her first show at 23. But she did it. She continues to do it. I'm actually amazed at her professionalism and her supportive nature when Shaheer, Aaliya and Supriyaji are out.

I hope she too goes out on a vacation.

Eggxactly.. With her age, It's just a start of her career in TV and she doing a mother role speaks loads for her professionalism.. And slowly TV is also becoming an actor driven media, especially with the hero's image.. Story is focused only in the initial.set of episodes I think.. Then.they focus on feeding to the actor's or fan's demands.. 😆
But Erica may not be in the demanding position yet given that this is her first project and she still needs to prove her professionalism.. 🤔

And regarding Jatin's supernatural ways, don't you see that the guard at the gate allowed Jatin ( a complete stranger) in so that he can lure Sona out. That obviously makes sense!!

See, the debate on father-figures has actually two aspects--
First- Does Jatin suit more to the role of a parent/guardian to Soha than Dev is to Soha/Golu? The answer is yes. Jatin is absolutely like a father should be. Dev, 90% of time, is not.

Second- Is Jatin as important to Soha as Dev is to Golu? So, in that sense, is he really her father figure? Here, the answer may vary. But IMO, Soha and Golu's feelings can't be compared. Golu only has Dev.. that's why he misses him, idolizes him, etc. But Soha has the love of everyone in the family. So it's not like, she feels sad if Jatin is not there or misses him all the time.
Even when I was kid, my whole mohalla adored me. I could go play, talk to anyone. I wasn't solely connected to one person whom I will miss. My Chachu is my father figure.. I am open with him more than I am with Papa. But, we don't have any showy bond, exclusive things or anything, we never had, even when I was a kid. On the outset, you would just think that it's a general idea of Uncle-neice.

But like Sona explained, Soha wishes for Jatin's presence at her important days like birthday.. has participated with him in activities held at her where kids participate with their dads. So, IMO, Jatin is a father-figure.

Maybe that's the type of bond I have with Chachu, so i relate to it.

PP, if she was not happy she could have renewed her contract or quit the show. I have seen so many ppl doing it. But she continues still without a break, even overworking to support her co-actors absence.

Moreover, she hardly performs for award functions. Concentrating solely on one show. I really find it commendable. 1 yr back I did not even know her. Now, I admire her. 😃

👏

Didn't know that. But really, this kind of dedication and professionalism is admirable!
I feel bad for her. Because of the stupid writing, all of it goes to smash. The cast and crew must work their asses off. I feel bad for them.

I agree on both points.

Now matter how much anyone justifies Dev waking up Soha in the middle of the night, it doesn't sit well with me. That behavior is not okay. And for someone who has been raising Golu for the past 6 yrs., I don't think it's too much for us to expect some sensibility from him.

And, I think you have nailed Jatin and Dev's role in Soha's life. Nothing more to add.

I just wish Dev falls into a municipality dustbin while walking on the road. I Don't even know why am I asking this mild a punishment for him. But I just want him to feel disgusted at himself. And since the guy has no consideration about his harkatein or the shit he spouts.. let it be his stink.
I don't even know what am I saying and why. But I am seriously pissed off at him questioning and insulting things that he is too gira-Hua to fathom. You know, things like, feminism, fatherhood (with Bejoy), motherhood (why does he question the wrong woman, Sona? Why can't he lecture parenting to Ish and Elena and Radha?), love, friendship, etc.
