no body shud question a mother like that, let me tell u even at this age, wen im ill or have fever, the moment i see my mother and my the moment my mother talks to me abt my illness, all my sickness however severe it is becomes lifeless, and coming to my dad his one word of enquiry will do magic to me.actually dev is thinking that sonakshi and jatin are wasting time and he is questioning her. being a dev fan i only tell u to ignore his seldom mental actions and deeds, we know that sonakshi like any mother, is the best in the world to take of suhana.
Maybe there are a handful of people like Dev. What frustrates me is why are they glorifying such behaviour in what was promised to be a mature, real story? and why should I show my understanding to such characters? If this happened to my sister or my best friend, would I sit tight? I guess my problem is I expect Indian culture to be portrayed a bit more respectful and relevant to this day and age.
The flip side is also that the same writers who write Dev's character are also writing Sona's words. She made a beautiful statement today: " I am not questioning your parenting because I know my boundaries."
If this does happen in real lives, to all men and women in such relationships, where every movement of theirs is questioned, analysed, blamed, you have my sympathy and prayers!
