Make yourself wanted

Dev has to blame himself for giving too much importance to Soha. Now he feels that she is not reciprocating. Children are somewhat unreliable and they hurt parents unknowingly. Well, Dev shoiuld take it easy and make himself wanted by Soha than other way around. He can take a trip alone to an unknown place to introspect and that will make Soha not to take her papa for granted and make her parents dance to all her wishes. Soha also takes Sona for granted and insists her mother to compulsorily live with Dev.
One should be like that drop of water on a big leaf. Attached but ready to drop out.
The bond should have been between husband and wife and not through some third party even if it is their kid.

Completely agree with your point...dev should make himself wanted rather than forcing ..

To be fair, Dev is new to parenthood. His daughter insisted that she live with both her parents. I don't think its unreasonable for him to think that Soha wants time to bond with him.

There are a lot of people going off on Dev for being upset... but in my view he didn't do anything wrong. He didn't insist that Soha eat the food he made or insist that she be on his team. He felt bad but didn't emotionally blackmail Soha like Ishwari does. Jatin has spent a lot of time with Soha already. So I really don't think its unreasonable for him to question the necessity of Jatin presence.

Honestly I blame Jatin here... he knows Dev and Soha have a new bond...and he really should step out of the way to let them develop it. He took Soha to dance class and they had a burger... so he had already had some quality time with Soha that day. Personally I like Jatin as a character... I think he is pretty sensible. So I am surprised by his lack of sensitivity.

Personally I really don't want Dev to play games with Soha. I think he should just be honest and tell her that he is available to her when she wants to spend time with him.

I feel bejoy and Dev are spending more quality time with each other! Bejoy wants to catch brooding Dev alone and needle him to death.

And Bejoy's weapon is Jatin.

Make himself wanted?? wanted means jab child ko koi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh Papa chahiye.

No,bachha Sirf apne parents ka thoda time aur attention chahta hai.Honesty se hi bachhon ke dil mein jagah banayee jaa sakti hai.

Cv's dev Bijoy scenes Kam kar de ,dev Sona ko brain de de toh Kam ban jayega.

Make himself wanted means, he should not be so easily available that soha can take him for granted. They say that familiarity breeds contempt.

Why cant Dev and Sona go to office to attend work like normal parents and spend quality time with soha after returning? That will make soha long for her parents.
