I feel I have nothing to contribute to this wonderful discussions guys. So disheartened with constant downfall of a character and yet trying to establish him as the 'HERO'. Add one more fan to his fanlist - Ronita. 😆

It could have been a learning experience for Dev that when one finds his/her parent being in the wrong side, how one needs to take stand for truth and transparency which automatically pulls the loved ones towards you. Ronita could easily resort to Asha and Dev's plans and kept it hidden to prevent her mother being painted black in Saurabh's eyes. But when there is brutal honesty involved, the outcome is always fruitful 👍🏼. But did Dev learn from it or should I say CVs intend to FOCUS towards it ? No, their sole intention seems to be making Dev as victim 🤣 🤣 I mean honestly after all the K-dramas where every hero pays for their mistakes and repents, I cannot digest this crap. Dev feeling sad on somebody else making her beti happy oh how typical of Dixits aint it 😆. Only I can make you happy, only I can make you hurt, oh the world revolves around I, me, myself. 🤣 I am happy to see Soha-Jatin bond unaffected by this pettiness and ugliness. Let them cherish their bond. This time Dev's manipulations like destroying Rithwik's career by cancelling loans etc will not work. Oh sweet lord Karma seems to have taken out its chulaah to burn Dev 😆.

@Guddi ...this is awesome and very true.

I think we shouldn't be discussing other characters in this forum...mods feel so.

Gauri tell me about it. I mean at some points I used to feel bad for their overdoing repent and redemption 🤣 Your dp reminds me of Manav. What a gentleman 😳 Watched PR till the leap happened with Rithwik Dhanjani and Asha Negi (although love them😆) ..

What do you mean by other characters cannot be discussed ? Hein 😕 Ok I will edit my post. But why ? It's not even bashing. 😲

I used to watch PR and was quite active in that forum. Tia reminds me of someone in that forum. Very similar views.

Mods closed lavanya's topic where she proposed Maya for DevD. Thts why thought we are not supposed to discuss other shows/characters in this forum.

Dev is in dire need of a friend. I understand why he is insecure. He has lost out on 6 years of his daughter's life and he feels Soha might end up replacing her papa with Jatin. And his messed up feelings w.r.t Sona also come to the fore and it makes him lose his head. Which is something I dont fault him for. But then, initially i dint fault Ishwari for her insecurity either. All of us have those moments where we feel terrible/insecure. But what defines you is how to chose to act on those thoughts/ what you eventually learn from it. Ishwari, unfortunately, let her insecurity get the better of her and screwed everyone's life. And the writers eventually destroyed her character. So for a change, I'd really like to see Dev introspecting and not let the insecurity get the better of him. I really wish the writers let Dev bond with Jatin. At this point, that will do him a world of good. Sona with her own issues (and their current toxic relationship status) is not the right person to go to. Jatin is non-judgmental and seems like a normal, stable guy (atleast so far unless the CVs choose to ruin him). And god knows, Dev is in dire need of a non-judgmental friend who can understand his issues and at the same time, help him fight them. If the writers had enough time to write something substantial instead of focusing on mindless romance and tashan between the leads, this can pave way for a nice track where Dev embraces Jatin's role in his daughter's life and lets her be. And at the same time, creates his own little world with Soha. Jatin is not a competitor and no one can take away the fact that Dev is Soha's father. Thanks to Dev's own issues and effed up understanding of the situation, he is unable to see things clearly. Jatin was the only one who understood Dev's pain and apologised for it.
What I would like to see is Dev having a heart to heart conversation with Jatin and him embracing his role in Soha's life. And Soha eventually tasting whatever Dev cooked for her. But what the CVs might show is another mindless fight between Dev-Sona with no story development in the long run coupled with some mindless romance. Or worse, justify Ishwari by making every single parent insecure and crazy on this show 😆

P.S. The choti is unbearable. So is the bulging biceps with the tiny t-shirt. I cant wait for Shaheer to finish shooting his film just so he becomes more presentable.

Hi Peeps🤗Logged in after a long time today. Krpkab detox works wonders for my mood😆I haven't been reading the updates either but was missing you all and from what I read today, I am glad I have stepped away from this show. Finally binge watched another desi show with repeat value which I loved so much because of how beautifully the growth in relationship & characters were portrayed.
Hope you are all doing well.😊

👏

I really hope they show the Dev-Jatin equation going in this direction. For once, I want to see Dev doing something after putting thought into it and not acting based on impulse and emotions.
